The hotel is located in a quiet side street. The train station with a very good access to London is about 200 meters away. The rooms are fine, however already ageing and therefore a bit shabby. For a short break or city break but it is ok. read more

The hotel we have for a city break to London used. The train station east croydon is easily reachable on foot (only a couple of minutes). Every few minutes, there is a link to Victoria Station or tower bright. Journey time depending on the trains between 15 and 30 minutes. The service in the hotel was really great. We had nothing what we could complain about could. Only the sauna area was very dirty and the pool contained too much chlorine. For a city break to London very recommendable. But you should note that The ticket to London City for ... the public transport a bit more expensive is zone 5 is needed. But we had in the hotel no cheap hotel in the city found. read more

Great access to London City. For London large beds and the room is also reasonable, the bathroom is rather small and getting a bit old, but OK. Early -check in despite booking in the hotel basically not possible. Late -check out also despite booking not possible, only with availability against 15 pound to have. For a city trip to London in any case highly recommended. Price-performance is okay. read more

We are in the hotel at 10 o'clock early arrived, was check in only from 15 o'clock possible. What we are actually not so bad found. Our suitcase we could when the doorman let stand. The room itself was very clean and huge with 2 times 160 centimeters broad beds. TV, Ironing board and iron we had. You could also prepare a tea or coffee make, kettle was also there. The tea and cookies were every day filled, as well as the beach towels also every day changed. Cleaned was very thorough. The air conditioning was fairly noisy, but you ... used to get. And a little noisy it was. The breakfast was well, you could between English breakfast with egg, ham and fried potatoes or muesli, fruit and jams choose. The staff very friendly and helpful. the hotel is located 200 meters from the train station away. In the city one is in 15 minutes we would again at any time come. read more

    the room is really nice. Modern however warm, with beautiful furniture. There is a air conditioning both the room heat and cool. Very cleanno mini bar. However a kettle plus coffee and tea and two cookies. No safe but two telephones a relatively large HD-TV. Only English channels. Comfortable soft beds.

    very friendly staff, polite and extremely helpful. Only speak English. Room cleaned every day. Every two days the room then completely new towels, soap etc. equipped.

    Croydon itself is a beautiful city. Nevertheless there are many good restaurants and several shopping opportunities. The area and location is however solid by almost perfect traffic connections upgraded. There was as good as 5 minutes by train or all a bus to London and the more beautiful surrounding Cities around Croydon. The hotel is 3 minutes from the train station away. Noise from the main street next to the hotel could differ depending on the room was a bit upset.

So we were completely thrilled by our stay in Croydon park hotel;- ) the hotel has a great location a short walk to the train station and from there is one in 15 at the London avenu bridge or Victoria station (uses an oyster card a prepaid card for the subway/ bus/tail train uncomplicated Reisemöglichkeit). The rooms leave nothing to be desired, everything there that you need & nicely furnished.     Our double room was relatively large. Everyone had a kingbed. TV, kettle available. bathroom was not the today's standard. Already somewhat older, shower in a small bathtub. no heating in the bathroom. cleanliness okay.

    The room was large enough. No mini-bar. TV and iron with ironing-board. Tea-making facilities. Our kettle was broken, but was quickly replaced. Room was very quiet. Our main gripe was that there was NO mattress cover. That means the sheet was directly on the soiled mattress. Not very hygeinic, and not to be expected from a 4 **** Hotel!! The room maids were very friendly, but not able to make a bed properly. The bathroom was clean, but a bit run-down.

Despite the large physical distance is the train ride to the city center (about 20 minutes) without any problem! Hotel is good value everything you would expect. Condition of the rooms in the normal Kostensegment is however not as modern as you could expect the quirky appearance of the hotel. read more
