Nice hotel close to the city, Marienplatz and the main station within walking distance, metro about 100 meters away. Augustiner brewery is close and also the venue of the Oktoberfest is not far. read more

Single rooms with French bed, TV and functional facilities, for short trip completely sufficient; small bathroom with shower / sink, minor flaws; clean, therefore acceptable; breakfast buffet Italian style (Italian restaurant) rich and tasty. Parking in the underground car park, traffic took some getting used to; you should book early, as not sufficiently available; elevator sometimes broken (6 floors!) Room to the street loud with the window open, at night as well;
The central location (5 minutes to the subway) on a busy street results in a corresponding noise level, however, the equipment, the size of the single room, and ... especially the restaurant recommend the hotel for a short city break to Munich. Due to the central location it is recommendable to explore the city with a day card for the local transport. Great Paulaner beer garden about 5 minutes on foot. read more

The hotel has renovated and not renovated room, which I however in advance was not known. Because the hotel because of a fair was fully booked, I had to me with a umrenoviertem room satisfied. The room and the bathroom were tiny, run-down and not very welcoming. The bathroom was no 2 meters ² large and the shower had merely a curtain. The TV still comes from the pre -flat screen-ERA as the whole interior fittings. The room went to the street and it was very, very loud. The Italian restaurant and in particular the pizzas are however recommendable, the ... breakfast was OK. read more

For our städtetripp very much well situated. We were only for sleeping and breakfast in the hotel. And so many the weaknesses not so swhr weight: single room very small, particularly the shower! Altogether waiting the building probably on a redevelopment. But nevertheless clean. The house belonging pizzeria has a very nice inner courtyard, as you can if the weather is nice well sit. read more

Hotel is very outdated, bathroom are old and not clean, restaurant in the house is delicious and nice ambiance, the rooms are badly soundproofed and very noisy, with closed windows is like with the window open, on foot in 10 minutes in the pedestrian zone, 1 minute from the taxi rank, or subway, or to the bus. We would the hotel not choose, as it is maximum 2 stars and not clean cleaned. In the bathroom was still toothpaste from the previous guests and the carpet was stains covered. We stayed with Ameropa a train/ hotel compact range booked, would ... however another hotel prefer and possibly a bit more pay. If we are not very tired would have been, could not sleep. Beds were however clean. read more

For a short city break the Duke hotel is absolutely perfect. The breakfast buffet is highly recommended, there is something for everyone. Unfortunately, the non-renovated room on the street side of the building, which means that it (even at night) very loud. The room was small, but adequate. In the shower you almost got claustrophobic. The hotel has a very nice Mediterranean inner courtyard, which in summer months is certainly very comfortable. read more

in this hotel is not to be thought of sleep. We had all rooms to the side of the road. Sleep were only between about 01:00/01:30 A. M. and 04:30/05:00 A. M. possible. Apart from that you had-despite closed window - the feeling on a busy intersection to lie. All the furniture was completely scuffed, the carpet totally filthy, the bathroom nothing special clean, very tight and with a ceiling full of mold. The sewage in the bath stank. The staff could hardly say good day, and made mostly a absent impression. Never, neimals again. read more

We were put in a room on the fifth floor, after I and worn out furniture, the mattresses have seen, I asked at the front desk where the rooms on the half board to see whether? I have been told, that the Mediterranean suites are, it paid for our 'cheap' 169.00 euro (during the meadows) does not exist. After I gave a reasonable extra charge I paid, (, although there were all booked up) we could move into one of the 'new' room, these were top notch. Super modern equipped, great atmosphere, total stylish. (as on the board to ... see). Conclusion: only ' Mediterranean newly renovated rooms 'or the old at dumping prices. read more

The hotel is located close to the underground, two stops from Marienplatz. The breakfast was very good, the one if the weather was good in a nice Tuscan courtyard views. For a städtekurztrip this hotel is very recommendable. read more

Hotel manager was very kind and friendly to the guests.
The entire staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room was big enough and very clean.
The breakfast buffet was very rich and the in house excercise pizzeria was very welcoming and the food was very tasty and the portions large.
The hotel was very centrally located close to the underground with the taxi stand and to the oktoberfest!

We were on the oktoberfest Munich hotel Herzog. In and for itself is the hotel good, above all the location is great. The prices in advance have we received clear it is more expensive than outside the fair periods! However:
-Us was charged three persons for the price of a 4-room, what us in advance informed differently. This was apparently not at all clear, we were several people, the prices have suddenly per room will vary, as we have found in hindsight.
Breakfast not included, in addition to the 'decent' prices still nine euros per person.
-The rates are not ... the performance. The room are small (to give to be a 4-room) and the extra beds (a sofa bed) was a disgrace. The bathroom is tiny and has no storage space (for towels, and various personal items). This was the ceiling of the bathroom full of mold and the grouting on the Badeweanne, as well as the plates were also rather disgusting soil.
All in all: very good location, the restaurant and the bar was good and clean, staff friendly. The prices for the room (also for the oktoberfest) are not justified. read more

The pictures of the Internet appearance and not really meet the, what you find. The bathroom was extremely small and charm with 70er years. The beds through convenient. The so-called mini bar cooled not once. The noise from the street prevented any sleep. In the summer you the Windows, you almost suffocated.
Conclusion: not once again.
