    Size: for 2 persons enough Facilities: furniture ok, bathroom great, air conditioning great, tv modern flat screen with 4 German speaking, several English-speaking and regional programs, balcony large enough overlooking the pool and street ( a direction beach but since only 1st floor overlooking beach by trees/ other building concealed ), mini bar - fridge for own use ( no pay vorbefüllung ), safe - only safety deposit box at the front desk against payment of rent - telephone available Room-condition: always clean / at the start somewhat musty odor after a few days of intensive being aired, and use of the airconditioning disappeared (possibly through moving the cleanser from the cleaning staff used)

There were always lots of different meat/ fish/ vegetables/ salads etc. Offered, however we had especially the offer for salads more changing sorts of respectively with the offer lunch/ dinner highlights desired, because you after a few days on closer look at the impression -the I know/I already had/try The offer for breakfast was varied however always the same -2 sorts of rolls, 2 sorts toast, Baguette-bread, hard boiled egg, scrambled egg, English breakfast - baked bacon, beans, sausages Sausage-offer boring: within 14 days 4 different types of sausage we found too few For muesli-breakfasts: muesli/ grain/dried fruit etc. In various variations available ( however we have nothing that try, because we do not muesli/ grain breakfast)-as far as we could see, it was here always the same the offer for different muesli-ingredients-so also here fast boredom could Atmosphere: staff always friendly and accommodating The only thing that bothered us was the constant loud which also hinders to the 3 in the dining room equipped geschirrsammelstationen where the used dishes roughly vorgereinigt was ( emptying of leftovers, stacking used dishes on flat etc.) - sometimes were these noises so loud, that a normal conversation with the opposite seated partner hardly possible

    Centrally located, beach cala gran on foot circa 10 minutes (super sandy beach, clean, clear, inhabited water ( fish), relatively wind) Shops start directly in front of the hotel with many shops the souvenirs etc. Offer ( unfortunately almost all souvenir shops almost the same assortment - merely the prices vary-the closer at the hotel location the more for same/similar article will be charged) Excursions: are in the hotel from various tour operators offered ( prospektauslage in front of the dining room-sometimes an employee of organizers locally). Offer varied. But trip on own fist could reasonably priced be: for example drive to Palma with the public bus ( stop 5 minutes from the hotel) costs there and back €16 per person-price tour operator €28 + per person For us remarkable: the place is in comparison to the us known German places exceptionally clean-scattered rubbish, zigrarettenkippen etc. Are only rarely seen, street sweeping/ trash collection is discreet during the night carried out - merely the leaf blower the city cleaning the open from about 08:00 around the hotel diy is a bit disturbing...

Basically a pleasant stay, very pleasant and to point out the non-presence of children. The pool terrific, and thanks to the little bathers, rather older English a real highlight. Unfortunately there is also here the war the loungers, although it enough of it. The largest problem represents the catering Dar, whereby about the food even in purely nothing at all to complain about is. ( the breakfast very British, but OK). For a fully booked hotel, the dining room with Mensaflair too small and the staff sometimes overburdened. Professional charm together with fundamental Hygienegebote in the stress from time to ... time lost. Furthermore should the hotel management on the purchase of some of the coffee cups are considering-it could be the breakfast situation noticeably relaxation. Apart from that however all around a very hard-working, friendly staff in a hotel in a fantastic location. read more

We were the 2 time in the hotel tucan. It was recently the visit -chain and partly renovated. We were very warmly welcomed and received a room as requested. However there are in the hotel many former' family room' with a connecting door to the adjoining room. This has as very badly soundproofed and disturbing evidence. They told us, when this season this doors be blocked. The cleanliness of the hotel leaves nothing to be desired, however, urgently the carpets in the hallways and on the stairs be renewed. We booked half board and with the offer completely satisfied. During ... our travels there were about 80% English guests in the hotel, what for the hotel and the place is not unusual. read more

    The staff's hospitality at the front desk, as well as the foreign language skills were excellent. To the main -meal times were the service staff partly very demanded, therefore it was sometimes but a bit uncomfortable. Some knew their profession quiet and peaceful, other widespread with their running around but much hecticness. The cleaning of the rooms we as completely reasonable found.

    The location of the hotel is on the distance to the bays, the city centre and port excellent. In the immediate area are plentiful shops, restaurants and entertainment possibilities. A rental car for the exploration the many bays on the eastern coast and further sights on the beautiful island offers at.

Very nice star hotel (category) with 155 rooms directly in the center of Cala d'Or, and close to the beach. Bookable with half board or all-inclusive service and cleanliness was great. Guests to about 75% from the uk, the rest german, a few dutch, now and then even spanish. Due to the many british middle-aged very pleasant ambience (because they know even courtesy and manners). read more

    Rooms comfortably furnished, with a flat screen tv and a large fridge! Circular balcony (with a table and two chairs), on which one comfortably sit and for example floats can store. Bathroom (since 2012) with large shower landscape (instead of before bathtub). The safe is located not in the room, but behind the front desk.

    No rose without thorns! The food is admittedly the only weak point of the hotel. Quality and selection of the meals could in fact better or been more diverse. The whole is quite british oriented. Nevertheless one found also delicious. It is not really quiet in the restaurant, but we see the not so cramped.

    Full marks for service and friendliness of the staff. At the front desk next to english speak german, also in the restaurant for us there were no problems with the communication. Complaints were immediately cared for. Room cleaning was perfect, daily change of all shower and towels, bedlinen about all 2-3 days.

    Couldn't be better. Absolute top location. Directly in the center, still quiet and only through the street from the nearest beach (cala gran) away. Shops, restaurants, the pedestrian zone in the immediate area, the beautiful marina is comfortably within walking distance. You should definitely rent a car. Cala d'Or is one of the most beautiful places Mallorca, but the island still has much more to offer. Rental car at the best the front desk book.

Very loud environment ( music the neighboring hotels). Hotel almost only directed towards the English guests. By the pool there were drinks only from plastic cups, etc. In a three-star hotel we had in the past better service, a better environment and also better food, as well as a altogether better hotel. read more

Very nice and pleasant hotel. Although about 90% English but nevertheless very friendly staff. Breakfast more than enough, dinner very diverse and rich and very tasty. Room very clean and big enough. The pool was very clean and nice. Absolutely for our age group recommendable. read more

We drive to this hotel since 1981 gladly anytime again now, the gap of 2 years. We had this year for the first time all inclusive- food. Great thing. Daily the rooms cleaned and there was always fresh towels and laundry. The outside area is maintained, couch problems we had not even. Guests: English, German and so on children now only starting from 16 years permitted therefore very pleasant ambience. ( that means not the children do not like) read more

    The tucan has been very much renovated last year. The front desk is now newly decorated and bright, (I liked the old decor but also very good) the bar with the outside and inside area is very beautifully designed.

You get exactly what you want. Quiet hotel with good food. Since one only starting from a age of 16 years check in. Since Cala d'Or eingesamt very British is annoying, you will have to get on 90% in the hotel also don't be surprised. Bay is right in front of the door. read more

The hotel corresponded fully our expectations. We booked half board, what was completely sufficient. Thus we have the nearby city with a lot of bars and restaurants extensively used. Cheap it is, a hired car from Germany to book, the many beautiful Booked and beaches the island exploration. read more

We had a unexpected great hotel met, the negative reviews from some guests were just not comprehensible and absolutely unfounded. Great employee, simply super nice and very friendly, especially Isabella we, with its great art, to the heart. Value for money, here you a vacation to remember. In june 2012 stayed at the tucan mostly english vacationing couples middle age, which absolutely okay was. Only the food was also very on the english kitchen coordinated. It was nothing for me. The coffee was terrible, the breads hard, the alternative, tea and muesli with fruit. The hotel and the rooms are only partially renovated, but the dining room looked like a 'lounge'. The lobby was with little decoration mistake, bouquets, there was not. With 4 stars is the. The staff are friendly and make an effort, however completely understaffed at mealtimes, thus was the tables also not always ... clean set. The pros beautiful pool with chairs and umbrellas, nice little garden, distance to the beach, No animation - kids until 16 so was from 23 o'clock complete peace in the hotel. If the food better, you can a quiet vacation spend. read more

Great hotel, for cleanliness is great value put. Food varied and very good, there is something for everyone. Staff friendly helpful and attentive. Location 5 minutes to the Bay, clean and tidy. Shopping opportunities in the area with lots of bars and coffee All together very nice. You can recommend the hotel. Happily time and time again! read more

If I 60 am, I will this hotel for certain visit again and it definitely older people recommend. The hotel is clean, friendly and the food was great. The location is great, the place is very sweet. Unfortunately was beginning May still still so vie Los, but it was in the high season surely change. read more
