If you look for some peace and rest - this is it. The very straightforward size of a total of 12 bungalows guaranteed even when fully booked a wonderful peace. The hotel is very good well-kept and the service excellent in all areas. No matter wether roomboy, butler or manager, everyone was helpful. The friendliness is really and not fake. Great, that there are no activities-even other programmes to 'amusement' is. The slh status is absolutely deserved, albeit with small deductions in the Pavillon and menupreisen. read more

Also here unfortunately a few small departures, which you as a pedantic could see. We had a Ocean View Pavillon with the very nice size of 250 square meter. On two levels, so you can your vacation glazy spend. Above a beautiful bedroom with a balcony with view on the sea. A small dressing area and a large bathroom with jacuzzi tub. On the lower level a nice dining table, a small kitchen (why always for the waiters), and living area with a tv and area. From there one has direct access to the 'cooling pool' and a covered desk area, as well as the garden and the beach. Actually very private, if not a 'gazebo-users' on the idea is, the' public ' garden area in front of the villa to use. But the small deductions one must unfortunately for the tear rating. Relatively large stains and wear to the upholstery, difficult and pinching doors of the garderobenschränken, from the wall coming cable in the bathroom (was a telephone there, or was there?) , and generally but visible wear to actually most möbelteilen belittle the otherwise perfect impression. Here should be in the next time renovation and repair work to begin. Therefore unfortunately no 6 suns. The cleanliness was okay.

Well, here i must unfortunately a few make departures. Basically the quality the food excellent. Everything was always fresh and very tasty. Even special wishes were not a problem. So we wanted a freshly caught fish prepared get. Not a problem, the butler has it freshly procured and then the desired formula to the kitchen deployed. But : the prices stood unfortunately not in relation. Of course i don't expect a level based on the relationship of price to the country, but partly over european level were then but not quite justified. We had no half board, since we rather once ate out. Therefore always from the menu, the unfortunately then too over 90% european and asian dishes. The typical curry was although it is very good, but, if you are over ten times than normal must ask? Like in my opinion, very pleasant, that no buffets were, in particular the breakfast from the menu and always completely fresh prepared-great. I stress clear the quality the gastronomy, zahle but also gladly more, but it is covered. (hopefully not due to lack of alternatives in the immediate vicinity)

Perfect service in all respects. All super friendly and helpful. It will be all wishes, as far as possible, fulfilled. Whether you have a 24 hours butler service needs should decide. We have our butler at least during the day little to not at all use. He sees but also for breakfast and dinner, which of course very pleasant is. We had no complaints, other than that, everything was perfectly organized.

No entertainment, we didn't want to. Pool is excellent condition, just like the private 'dip pool' in the Ocean View Pavillon. Goes definitely not better!

The location is unfortunately not so good, but here always described. Advantage is of course a wonderful empty beach, but then unfortunately also no possibility in the immediate surroundings a little food or drink to go. You want this, you have a tuk tuk go back. The complex is a oasis without walking access to 'tourist areas'. Which means thus unfortunately the struggle between 'peace' and 'evenings out'. Us was the peace and quiet important.

Nice hotel, great clean and tidy, the pavilion with a view facing the beach have 2 floors, downstairs living area - above bedroom and bathroom and are in best condition! The kilometer-long beach is golden, nature and is at best for a walk, not to lay down. Stray dogs and kuhherden doing their remaining in addition, but you can on the lawn of the hotel suns, relax and around the hour serve. The butlerkonzept was not my thing, I did the butler also rather sorry, when the heat in black suit rumzurennen. The unhaber is an old English couple, the ... while we were there also here was, hence the butler concept. A touch of good old Great Britain. If you are on a dip in the sea ( to swim completely unsuitable, because too strong waves) can do without, makes you here for this hotel can't go wrong. From the airport to the hotel we drove 3,5 hours in dauerstau-the return trip only took one and a half hour. We were exactly to tsunami warning in the hotel. We were asked, in the upper floor and on further instructions to wait-thanks internet and television we were always in the newest condition, which possibly might happen. It was already a gespenstige mood - no vogelgezwitschere, all birds sat completely quiet in the palm trees, no dogs more at the beach and also the kuhherden were away. Had our TUI tour operator with ankúnft and first day reported, to us any trip to sell, was on the day of the tsunami warning and afterwards nothing more to be heard! Extremely spacious rooms, clean and with everything what your heart desires equipped. Wiki in every room! Pool area in the garden pavilion is absolutely private and recommendable nonetheless!

Basically, a bar available, as well as on-site restaurant upper floor. We had half board booked and got so every evening a 5-coursemenu, which was consistently outstanding. A bit European inflected kitchen, which however no reason for a complaint would be. In the evening, they also served local dishes. Furthermore there is always the possibility, the dinner at the beach, pavilion or anywhere else drives. breakfast à la carte, leaves nothing to be desired. atmosphere in the restaurant very refined and quiet.

Outstanding, for each separate Butler pavilion, 24 hour which is available and the waiters functions. It left nothing to be desired. cleaning of the rooms takes place daily, no complaints. All in all extremely friendly staff, always helpful. English is an advantage, sometimes to be but also single words German spoken. trips and tours from the front desk organized; worked perfectly.

Air-Conditioned fitness room available, small spa, as well as hair salon and boutique. the value for money in the spa is really reasonable. there is a large pool area available, but there were mostly undisturbed and only in very few cases other guests finds. Very well maintained condition! Furthermore everyone has pavilion a private small swimming pool with sun beds etc.

Is located in wadduwa, West Coast, about 2-2.5 hours from the airport and Colombo. As a basis rather unsuitable for sightseeing around the country. For however a place for ausgezeichnetetr the recuperation in accordance with the travel. Location direct at the beach, excellent in order to bathe in the ocean. In the area smaller cities with the possibility of a pub market or shopping. Aussherhalb the hotel area local conditions. about 3 hours Galle by car, Kandi about 4.5 hours by car, by train a little less. Train station in wadduwa about 10 minutes on foot to reach.

We had a wonderful stay in the Serene Pavilions. Some additional comments/things to point out: - no children under 16 - private candlelight dinners in the private pavillion as well as directly on the beach are a must - they are great - at no time more than max. 6 other guests at the hotel pool (although hotel was fully booked) - tennis court is real clay In gernal great staff - Imesha from the reception and our personal butler Tyronne made it a georgous vacation. read more
