The owner and employees of this hotel were very nice and friendly, we really enjoyed that. The train station after Allmendhubel is really close by, 3 minutes on foot.
The view from the hotel was also wonderful, you can virgin by the window look, what a luxury is. In the room there is the possibility, Japanese Consignment, as well as German or other international mission to look. read more

A hotel, in which I have felt comfortable alone. Madam Göttschi is, as well as their staff, always very friendly contact person with a smile and good advice here. The hotel is located in the heart of the town, the ski slope ends in practically in the restaurants and the view from the room of the 'big 3' is gigantic. read more

Just wanted visitors to know how friendly and accomidating the staff at Hotel Jungfrau was to my brother and I. The breakfast and dinner were both excellent. Every morning, Hotel Jungfrau would give each guest a newsletter detailing hiking proposals for the day. The staff made sure you know the route before you took off for your hike. read more

For a 3-star hotel this one offers exceptional food way above its nominal category. The staff are universally highly competent, friendly and helpful, and comments are noted: on a previous visit we found the bathroom less than ideal, but this time were given a much better one without asking. One is made to feel very welcome indeed, but there is a pleasant lack of unnecessary fussiness.
Spacious lounge/library available for wet days is a real bonus. read more

We spent 2 nights at the Hotel Jungfrau in Murren in August 2008. We were part of a guided tour with Alpine Hikers. The hotel staff are very friendly and accomodating, going out of their way to provide answers. The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable with spectacular views - our only complaint with the room would be the height of the bathroom ceiling (it was located under the eaves) since we are both faily tall - but it was manageable. The fire in the common sitting area on the first floor was very much appreciated after ... returning from a very wet day of hiking! The restaurant serves a wonderful salad bar, and a good variety of food - ranging from the traditional Swiss Fondue to a number of interesting fish and steak dishes. Overall, the food was very good and the staff was both very efficient and entertaining. We would recommend the Hotel Jungfrau without hesitation. read more

Hotel Jungfrau is a superior establisment in every way...wonderful room accommodations, many with views of the spectacular alpine scenery in the area; very friendly and knowledgeable staff from the desk personnel to the dining room and bar personnel; world class dining room with fabulous food and service fit for a king, all with sensational views. I highly recommend this hotel for a vacation/holiday that will be truly memorable. You will want to come back again and again! I know I most certainly will!!
