Fine hotel for the price paid

For the price paid it is a fine hotel (I would say they deserve the four stars they have). Like many times in Italy, you won´t find the quality you could expect for the awarded stars, however this hotel offers a convenient location, clean spaces and nice breakfast. Rooms are quiet, but small and quite dark. Bathroom is also a little "old fashioned" and furniture in the same "80´s halo". read more

Lovely, centrally located hotel. Just round the corner is the pedestrian zone with shopping possibilities. Directly at the hotel is a bus stop, here you can to the station and to the airport drive (lam rosso). On foot are it maximally 15 minutes up to the tower. We felt very comfortable in the this hotel felt. read more

Nice hotel, very good value for money

We have for 2 people including breakfast 59 Euro per night paid. That was good value for money. We found the stay very comfortable. The hotel is really nicely decorated, the staff very polite. For excursions there were at the front desk even prints with the times from the train station.
The small faults below i mention only for the, for it is important, we absolutely didn't bother us.
Our room had only 2 small drawback (not on all rooms apply ): the bathroom was extremely small, maybe 2 square meter, if you on the toilet sat, could one without ... prevent the wash your hands. The dry and off it was a bit uncomfortable. Then had our room a connecting door to the (probably) dienstmädchenzimmer, so that next to the usual hotel paper thin walls the noise from this room was far more noticeable were, of course in reverse direction also, so that we mostly on whisper were, in order not to disturb. The mini bar is extensively equipped, wireless internet was included.
The breakfast was for italian standards very good, there was even bite-sized diced pineapple and kiwi and a wide selection of bread/rolls. Small disadvantage at 8:00 it was with the seats about, since the half of the tables by reservation was closed. Salt for the egg there was only on some tables, the you had to then borrow. We were not, like usually usually, asked, whether we a tea or coffee to have would like, we could probably make noticeable must, but not too bad, we won juice drink.
The leaning tower was about 10 minutes on foot. read more

City break in a beautiful hotel

We had a triple and a double room booked. Triple room was from the description of the hotel and thus plentiful horse. Double room was rather small, but with a beautiful mural mistake. The bathrooms were modern and large enough, the shower in the twin room was exceptionally large, so that no complaints can be made. The breakfast was more than enough and diverse, some fruit and sweet for children could also be taken. The location is great! Station for tours to Lucca, Florence, Viareggio and Livorno (bus or train) 5-10 minutes shopping street no 3 minutes around the corner ..., the leaning tower is about minutes if it weren't for the lots of shops would be. An all-round successful vacation for a moderate price in a beautiful hotel! Booked directly about the hotel, response came in german language, thanks particularly mr wapenhans, which on site contact available stood. We had a wonderful stay! Water from the mini bar, shuttle service and try the regional specialities in the evening we have detailed and free of charge use. Very recommendable this beautiful hotel! read more

The hotel is relatively clean, if you're of small ants it's expense. I had booked accommodation with breakfast, where you always placed. As I alone on business trips was, you sat me every morning at the table with foreign people, although really enough tables would have been free.
Wifi is available and free, however hang the accesspoints nothing special closely together.
Good was, that a kettle in the room and that was you from the fridge daily free water ( still and soda) take could. read more

Is very centrally located - parallel to the main shopping street and very quiet, and well-maintained. For a city break recommendable.
Cons: no swimming pool, no wellness area ( despite 4 stars), 10 Euro per day parking for the car. Because of the low traffic street the entrance from 10:00 P. M. not possible. read more

Beautiful city hotel in very central location, had unfortunately only view to the inner courtyard. As a part of our Toscanarundreise nevertheless the most beautiful hotel. Of the train station about 15 minutes on foot, to the airport 10 minutes with the taxi. Attraction of course the leaning tower, apart from that for Pisa also 2 days adequate. Shoppingmäßig it was the highlight, wonderful traffic-free streets. Restaurants are in the immediate vicinity, the prices took some getting used to. A small plate of pasta 8 €, a bottle of coke 4,50 Euro. Priced the most expensive our round trip ... outside the hotels. In the hotel we had only breakfast, unfortunately no Freirestaurant, were other used to. Reception was very friendly, language English, Wi-Fi free of charge. As in all other hotels little storage space in the closets, but for 3 nights the suitcase not unpacked are. read more

Very good location of the hotel, good with a car to reach, parking spaces in the backyard. Negative: cars are from the staff on demand moved by-rapid speed! Breakfast is not very good, one sits very close next to other guests, table assignment without to eighth to 'equalize', selection& quality at the buffet could be improved. read more

The hotel is very central nearby of the train station and the main bus station, it is only 5 minutes footpath. We have every day excursions to Livorno, volterra, La Spezia, Lucca and so on made. The breakfast is really great, much fresh fruit, a delicious Espresso and much cheese and ham. We can only recommend the hotel, were already several times there. read more
