Were 2011 already once in this hotel and had for two people a great room.
A review of 2011 gives it also.
The pool was for our room.
In this rooms were but we disappointed, since we other from 2011 knew, because with a extra bed, that be paid separately had, was this room small and not so well equipped.

F hotel was so far so good. Hollywood Boulevard and the walk of fame is about 2 blocks away and thus in 5 to 10 minutes to reach. You want however to the Chinese Theater run, one is rather 30 minutes.
Hotel was clean, parking and breakfast unfortunately not included. Breakfast but very good in the restaurant, which the hotel is directly connected. Depending upon choice around 10 to 15$ per head.
In short: price-performance of the hotel reasonable, if you the location still includes even good. read more

Depending on price I would stay here again, however only, as long as the better hotels in the area are significantly more expensive. We found the hotel somewhat poorly maintained respectively not well maintained.

Very decent and really empfehelneswertes middle class hotel with great value for money in the touristic center from la-hollywood; my wife loved the view from the room extremely good,
In the open hotel courtyard the-we didn't used - swimming pool; enough parking spaces a 15 $/ day (only valet -service); breakfast not included, but in the restaurant at a charge ( about 8 $/ person) offered; guests come from all men countries, very relaxed atmosphere in the hotel read more

Homey character, as well as the American charming of the hotel from. The rooms very big and functional with kitchenette, safe without computation at the front desk. Valet parking for 15 Dollar the day and the diner 101 with direct access from the hotel is good to eat a. Price very moderate and the portions ... also very good. The Diner
Has a good reputation also for locals and was always very well attended (opening hours of 07:00 a. m until 03:00 am) pool area in the hotel courtyard located, in accordance with the motto small but sweet. Our stay on site was very good and by all means recommendable. read more

The hotel lies only a short on foot away from Hollywood Boulevard, the metro-station Hollywood Vine, as well as the central of city -sightseeing ( Hop on & hop-off-buses) and is by car from the airport good and stress-free to reach.
Contrary to other Descriptions we managed not, parking in the underground garage to apply. We were in the parking service, but worked without any problems. Otherwise was the ' Einparket ' very helpful and friendly.
In the hotel there is also a laundromat ($2 per wash - respectively Trockengang ).
The right on the hotel the diner we only ... tried once, but were satisfied. read more

The Hotel Best Western Plus Hollywood Hills is for a stay in Los Angeles highly recommendable. The rooms are really big and with a fridge and kitchenette, kettle etc. Equipped. The bed is very big and comfortable and the room is clean and stylish furnished. Everywhere in the hotel and in the rooms hang pictures by Hollywood stars.
The Hollywood Boulevard is only 5a 8 minutes away, however it is to the Chinese theater and Kodak theater a piece walk (circa 20 to 25 minutes), as the Hollywood Boulevard is very long.
The Griffith park is almost around the corner ... and the motorway is also very close.
The value for money is great. We would the hotel anytime again take.
A small downside there is, it in the room no safe gives. read more

The presentation of the hotel is beautiful in the place, everything was a bit Hollywood star moderate. You need in any case a car in L. A. the location was nevertheless good. Nice hotel directly located in Hollywood. The hotel similar from its construction more like a motel and is not very big (estimated 60 rooms on three floors). The service is good and the rooms are spacious and well equipped. The hotel features furthermore on a pool. read more

We can recommend the hotel. Despite a few downsides we had a good stay.
The hotel has approximately 90 rooms. There is only a small elevator, not the vertrauenswürdigsten impression power.
Contrary to the hotel description with Neckermann was the parking not inclusive, a night 10 US-dollar and that is probably already longer Sunday on arrival is a the car received. To sleep and as a departure point the most important sightseeing tours offered absolutely sufficient. Universal studios is only 15 minutes it journey time. The highway No. 1 directly before the door is nothing against the volume of the air conditioning units in this hotel. The drowned it is fortunately also the noise from the other rooms. Disturbances from the pool we have ever experienced, but we weren't on the weekend there. The rooms are big enough (but not more than half of the described in the catalog 39 sqm) and feature a kitchenette with microwave, flat-screen tv and queen size beds however no safe. The walk of Fame can be reached on foot in a few minutes. The hotel dinner we liked especially ... because of the good atmosphere and a large selection was very good. In Germany we had booked the hotel with parking included. On site you tried to charge us at check-in and check-out 15 USD per day was reluctant. A noisy Hotel, noisy and the airconditioning technic annoying general din. The size of room was so far OK, also had a fridge and microwave were available. The pool is very centrally located in the center, so you can hear from your room, which turned out to be the case. Our room was in the back building, so there was no traffic noise, just therefor pool noise, Fernsehlärm from the neighboring rooms and late coming home is also good to hear. Als Ausgangspunkt für die Sehenswürdigkeiten im nördlichen Los Angeles und natürlich in Hollywood selbst, ist dieses Hotel vollkommen ausreichend. Die Autobahnanbindung befindet sich direkt neben dem Hotel (die Zimmer sind nach innen ausgerichtet, sodass wir von der Straße/Lärm nichts mitbekommen haben). Das Personal an der Rezeption war jetzt nicht unbedingt freundlich und hilfsbereit. Beim Einchecken wurden uns automatisch 15 Dollar pro Tag fürs Parken abgezogen. Zusätzlich kam noch eine Energy-Fee in Höhe von 5 Dollar für den gesamten Aufenthalt hinzu. Das Restaurant/Diner im Haus war ok und preislich nicht teuer (amerikanische Küche für Frühstück-, Mittag- und Abendessen). 4 Blocks entfernt ... befindet sich ein schöner/großer Supermarkt mit heißer Theke, Bäckerei und vielem mehr. Zu Fuß ist man in ungefähr 10 Minuten auf dem "Walk of Fame". Zum Chinese-Theater usw läuft man nochmals gute 10 Minuten vorbei an jede Menge Läden mit Souveniers usw. Einen Block vom Hotel entfernt geht es zum Vista-Point Hollywood Sign. Das einzig Negative, war unser Aufenthalt am Wochenende. Im Laufe der Nacht kamen viele Betrunkene nach Hause, welche sich leider nicht in ihr Zimmer verzogen, sondern im Poolbereich und auf den verschiedenen Gängen sich noch lautstark und überlaut unterhielten. Vom Personal wurde diesbezüglich nichts unternommen. Unser Schlaf wurde jede Nacht mehrmals unterbrochen! read more

We stayed for two nights. The hotel lies seven minutes walk from the walk of fame. Top location! A multi-Storey car park, as well as outdoor parking is given. The staff was very friendly, gave us tips given, Maps with Declaration, photographed and called us a taxi. The rooms were fully in order, just beware if you travel with children! The windows are also on the top floor complained auftuschieben, so you don't stumble, this is a major safety deficiency. Inside of the hotel has a pool and in the evening with a cigarette its wine, this is not a ... problem. To Los Angeles in the city center you should by bus and train or taxi on your own and not faren, says a each locals, since it is extremely dangerous. But with a hop on-hop of bus is no problem, for a 3 hour trip two are about 8-15 $per person due, which is okay. We have a tour of Hollywood, Beverly hills and the whole area right at the beginning to us an overview, this is the best, as the walk of fame seven kilometer long. We are at the house of Keanu Reves, Leo di convertible, the back hams and many other risks, that is can only be recommended. The next day we were in walking distance to universal studios, we were blown away. This is a must in Hollywood, the visit. Entrance cost about 70 $per person but they are totally justified! Please makes the studio tour with, there are no additional cost! In the studios you can take a taxi for 15 $or by car, about three minutes drive, but the parking fees are more expensive, as a taxi. Bottom line: the hotel is in a great starting point! read more
