Small hotel-garni in the immediate area to the city centre and train station with about 30 rooms, informal atmosphere, very attentive and friendly staff, helpful with all questions about Rothenburg and surroundings, big breakfast, which leaves nothing to be desired, cozy, with much attention to detail equipped breakfast room,

I had as a smoker booked. How terrible! Then I got an extremely loud room to the street. We have no eye closed. Wanted to take off. The friendly lady at the front desk us immediately the next morning move leave. We stayed! Also on your tip: leave you never as a smoker SEE when booking, then you have the A. map and the noisiest, smallest whatever room. Where there is a will, there is definitely a way. read more

Small hotel just outside the city walls of rothenburg, with own parking at the hotel. Old town in a few minutes easily accesible on foot. Train station around the corner, shopping center also. On the ground floor is a business, for front desk you can take the stairs or the elevator. Small front desk bar, half in the hallway, but usually sit as a very friendly lady, helpful and competent. English is okay. My single room was at the back, at the end of the hall, quiet location; Asian groups are also present, sometimes loud and clumsy. Decor dignified, a ... couple of days old but clean and tidy and well maintained. Satellite Tv. Bathroom could be more spacious, is however very clean and smelled pleasant. Had a good sleep and felt comfortable. The restaurant is small, has a mini terrace, tables and chairs were quite somewhat older. The kitchen could not convince me, next time I am in town to eat. Service was good. Breakfast buffet was good. Lots of choice, it is anytime again fresh filled up, the products are of good quality, great tea corner, what I ate I enjoyed it very much. Does not exist everywhere! We will be back! read more

The hotel is located on a busy intersection, just outside the medieval town. Directly between a junkyard, construction of car dealership and a tire Center-noise from early in the morning with trucks. Car parking on site, about a 15 minute footpath to the city centre
On the ground floor feeding bowl-branch, hotel on the first and second floor with elevator. The staff was very nice. Room with an older well-kept furniture. Good Mattresses. Shower/toilet small, but Okay, noisy (Plumbing), is framed by a balcony, without separation and furniture, probably escape route. Breakfast was very good, no restaurant in the hotel ..., but restaurants nearby recommendation for good.
Conclusion: highly recommended, as far as you are not looking for a quiet location and charming environment read more

Hotel is located on main road but is acceptable for sightseeing stay there. It is ideally located, but very well maintained and very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good Food. About ten minutes footpath to the city center is however okay this as free private parking is right in front of the hotel and parking is deleted. read more

The check-in was incredibly friendly, we got a map and directions. The friendly ladies could also restaurants for dinner; we got for the second night the menu from the restaurant even expressed.
The breakfast buffet was really great and very lovingly arranged. As we were traveling Advent, we enjoyed the great decoration throughout the hotel and in particular in the breakfast room (there were hanging tons of great Advent calendar on the walls). Our daughter could every morning from a sachet at the Advent take something.
The room was big enough and sufficiently equipped. Everything was very clean.
To the ... city center you need only about ten minutes walk, so the ideal starting point. read more

There are no negative aspects. The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is conveniently located. Road noise unobtrusive, quiet at night. The town is advantageous, because you do not live in narrow streets, but it is easy to get from there. The hotel staff can advise on restaurants and sights. We were traveling as a couple for Meistertunk and medieval hustle and bustle of the beautiful rothenburg OB der Tauber. We found the hotel merian through internet search rather by accident and booked two nights with breakfast and a three course twice dinner in the neighboring restaurant-(delicious) tap-golden
We did not regret it, it was a very nice stay, thanks to the very friendly and family atmosphere. In the rooms there is nothing to complain about, clean, flat screen tv with many German programs, clean bathroom with daily towel change. The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from ... the famous old part of town on one of the main streets, but we had no noise. The breakfast was varied and good, in a very nice atmosphere. The only point of criticism: Please don't wholly from the package for scrambled eggs used, were there is also real eggs are. ☺ In the evening you can have one or the other nightcap at the hotel bar (located in the breakfast room/lounge combined) drink.
I had my birthday and got a wonderful set breakfast table and even baked cakes. Therefor once again thank you

But the view is from the West balcony not the best, but there is even worse. The location of the hotel is very convenient, it is only a few kilometres from the A7 away, and to the rothenburger old part of town it was about ten minutes. read more

Had a nice short stay in red castle O. D. Deaf. Pleasant size of the room, with a sofa and comfortable chair for the night. There was also a balcony. The breakfast room was very nicely decorated with lovely decoration. Breakfast was plentiful and tastefully. The staff was very nice.
