Coming often to Basel for business this is one of my first choices. Like the modern design and the friendly stuff. It is well located on the trade fair, so you can reach everything quickly. read more

For a city break or exhibition center the hotel is great. One comes with the tram in a few minutes right into town and with change to all more sights and destinations for example zoo. The fair is directly next to it. From the hotel there is a train ticket for the whole stay.
The hotel looks already from the outside super modern and the inside top. Our room on the 14. floor had a wahnsinnsaussicht. The check in, as well as check out ran problem-free. The receptionists were all very friendly however there is a point of criticism. We ... could neither a indian restaurant (okay. Maybe a bit too exceptionally?!) A typical swiss restaurant (!) Be recommended! In the swiss restaurant should such a hotel but an insider tip ready and not located directly in the shopping center where the prices still covered and the food really unimaginative and tourists is tuned. Us was both a list of several restaurants expressed however we were with the lack of knowledge really disappointed.
Criticism on the maid. No question, it was clean. However lacked day 2 a wine glass. We then broken under the tv stand (probably below swept) found. Just not at all.
Unfortunately the skybar. The 1st evening was a closed single-party. On 2. evening had skybar not at all open, but only 'bar la rouge '. In the same building, but in order to come must one back out of the hotel and the side entrance in. To find that it is more like a overcrowded club is. Go to and partying certainly great but just cozy a cocktail simply too much loosely and too loud. But views from up there once.
All in all the hotel is recommendable but you should already at home think about restaurants and so on as the reception not really helpful. The hotel's own restaurant 'filou' is by the way correctly fine, but unfortunately also quite expensive-like Basel.
Parking costs 30 chf the day, breakfast (we didn't use it) about 30-35 chf. read more

We visited with friends the christmas market in Basel and stayed at the Ramada-Hotel.
The hotel is very well maintained, the rooms clean and the breakfast buffet is very varied.
The hotel lies almost directly at a tram stop, thus all destinations (city center, train station and so on) in a couple of minutes to reach. We would book this hotel again anytime. read more

Very modern hotel, a bit cold sometimes.
The room is on the other hand by warm tones very pleasant.
The einzilzimmer was okay in its size, but for sure not the Ramada in the Germany brochure for Plaza houses promised at least 28 meters².
The staff are extremely friendly, in my opinion the rooms are the entrance with the better views. read more

As in the other posts review to see, full satisfaction. Nevertheless two instruction: 1. Places to put things for the clothes in the room optimize. 2. Similarly, a sufficient drying possibility for the large towels to arrival, if you, as requested, you want to use. read more

I am gladly again anytime guest and can really recommend the hotel. Very friendly staff, everything was clean and right in the city. So you have to in any case the possibility somewhat something to do, either in Basel directly or with the tram away. Very good location. read more

Had a very nice room in the 10 floor, with a very nice views of the city. There are in the lobby construction, what a bit irritated me. These should be finished shortly. The food in the restaurant is really good or just the waiter ask what he would recommend. The room is big enough with large windows to the floor, the bathroom has a extraordinary light concept which I like very much. All together a really beautiful hotel, except for the elevators seemed a bit unloving.

Despite Mesebaustelle (until 2013) in front of the windows, no noise or other Annoyances to notice. Very good Isolation, no disturbance. Disturbed us rather the construction in the lobby, in the room (13. Etag e) was also nothing to be heard, but as soon as you the lobby from the elevator enters, or from the street enter, this is very annoying, because questions or conversation at the front desk are as good as not have been possible. Unfortunately one was only through various placards in the elevators informed, targeted information, as well as possibly a free -drinks in the sky-lounge ... could here more besides.
Our room was unfortunately some time before us uninhabited, it gathered some cobwebs on the ceiling, as well as Tons of dust on, until we the room changed. This was however up to our check out (5 days later) never eliminated. Bed sheets was changed, but with 5 Franc large holes and old stains, absolute no-go in a four star hotel. Bathroom was amongst others the mirror never wiped, likewise the Innenscheiben, there were still handprints many blame much to see.
Despite these small, but not really occurring mistakes I can this hotel in the location, with the view and the varied the range of dishes on offer only recommend, and will continue to visit. It can only be better. read more

The room has everything you as a business traveler wishes. Double bed with a view of the roofs of Basel, conference room with a large flat screen for computers and internet, two bathroom with a lighted floor from frosted glass. The entire exterior are verglaßt. On the highest floor of the hotel there is a large bar with live music. read more

A really great hotel with altogether 30 floors.
Very spacious entrance hall with a very nice and accommodating staff, multi-lingual.
Also in the bar we were very friendly greeted.
Super great and very rich breakfast!
Directly next to the hotel, there is a disco on the 31st floor ( also older people there were gladly seen! )
For the entry in the disco you need only the room card.
You should definitely the toilet visit. One can there with the 'sit' on the whole town look.
All together, highly recommendable. read more

Very nice stay in Basel! The hotel, is very recommendable, it is located on the fair and from here many trams and buses from. A lot could in Basel but also be walked. We were mostly to our family on sank Alban ring/ Gellertpark walked. Great breakfast and very nice employee in the entire hotel.

If you are lucky enough, a corner room, one is overwhelmed by the view ( for example from the 18th Floor) on Basel, to France and Germany!
About this hotel there was except for the expensive garage spaces on site nothing to complain about! read more
