The paradisus royal is a beautiful, clean facilities. The service (butler Rolando and isaac) is perfect. Small complaints (squeaky door and loose toilet seat) were within hour period taken care of. A highlight is the staff at of the pool bar: attentive, well presented, always friendly and not at all 'trinkgeldgierig'. And all inclusive is really all inclusive. Except for we tipped in the two weeks no cent needed! read more

    Of the restaurants was especially the romantica recommended. Italian is rather moderate. Japanese is ok. Bella mar is a very well maintained restaurant. Even if the menus not too wide choice offer-the quality is absolutely alright-

The hotel complex is really very nice and by gardeners maintained daily. The international restaurants disappoint tasty but the buffet in the choice and quality of the food really good. The staff at the hotel is without exception friendly and helpful and with school english everyone well. The hotel beach is an absolute dream. The bathroom has gotten a bit old - the problem but you have in any hotel where daily sand from the beach in the rooms It was the bed however great. Wide selection of drinks at the bars and professional bartenders to complete the whole. The ... staff is each guest the same friendly, whether it give a tip or not. We were 14 days in the royal service, everything was wonderful, only the the bed linen in 14 days not even been changed. read more

80 rooms at royal service and 680 rooms in the normal area. The cleanliness in royalservice was very good. For breakfast we often 15 minutes on our Cappuccino wait, this staff in the bella mare is very begriffsstützig and extremely slow. Be careful with the lunch, it may stones in your pasta were hiding. The butler have only one point: tickets for your dinner give. During our time there were mostly austrian, german, english and a few russians and canadians here. read more

    There were 4 specialty restaurants and a main restaurant in the royalservice. Whereas each one menu, which never been changed. Had from the 3. week already problems with the selection. The dishes in the main restaurant were really good, sometimes even excellent. The atmosphere fits in every restaurant except in the romantica, as we were partly quickly put off.

    The employees all were very friendly. Particularly in the heart closed the team of of the pool bar in royalservice. Greet this once again Gina, Jorge and the new boy, the us the vacation especially great did. This team like 10 stars to deliver, because this warmth we did in any overseas travel experience. We greet the team from italian our favorite. Our butler zuri claimed to speak german, but could only a few words of us was world champion to tasks to press. Our butler Kenya was much more competently, however only if it wasn't raining or strong the sun was shining, because then she came out of the air-conditioned lobby of the hotel.

The stay in this hotel was very relaxing and you can recommend with a good conscience, if the royal area. A painful experience with the pool; i had a lot of 'joy' at home. Unfortunately we did not have a suitable remedy for everyone. In the royal area there is the white buggies, with which you from a to b driven could. Be careful with the and exit! My man has himself literally the skullcap broken, so that we the cuban health who were, as the wound sewn had to be. Thanks to the director Antonio hernandez for its quick ... help to and in hospital. Further i would like to express my sincere thanks to holiday check (mrs and mr h.) for their prompt and unbureaucratic aid after the return. read more

Facilities/room: very nice hotel with great pool area, well maintained garden, 55 2 stöckligen apartment houses and lots of space for all. After 16 years are all rooms in need of renovation, haus 18 complete. Our room (junior suite, house 12) in comparison was dusty and dirty (bathtub and hair, 2 cockroaches), on complaint was cleaned or rotation. Afterwards clean and peaceful. When booking king size -bed (mattress 2 time 2 meters) or twin -bed (ever 1 meter x1, 90 meters ) reserve. The 5 stars are cuban stars, more but not in Varadero. Really all inclusive. Next to buffet-restaurant ... (good and plentiful) still 6 specialty restaurant with an upscale ambience and for example classic live music, of which good: romantic, not good: italian and japanese, moderate mexican. Perfect drinking water (ice cube) by special treatment-no digestion problems. Beach: on the doorstep, large enough, many loungers, in the water initially sharp rock and mussels, sand was fine to coarse and unfortunately sand fleas! Nearly no mosquitoes. Animation music: only at the beach, not intrusive, unfortunately from 11 hours -16 hours loud music, but you can on long beach by far. Evenings from 9:00 p. m. till about 23 hours at the open air -theatre show -program, fashion shows, afterwards peace. The indoor disco fun club (until 1 o'clock) always was ice cold and empty. Always happy live music with good musicians (quarter, classics). Audience: from 30 years, no americans, many nice canadians, spaniards and south americans, more russians (without any problems), little german - it is only spanish and english spoken. Value for money: good. You should the hotel but never online through melia. com alone book (for example suite 450 € for 2 people, with package 180 €). Only real disadvantage 11 hours prior. read more

Have in this hotel after a round trip a week's swimming vacation spend. The complex as such is beautifully designed, directly on the palm-tree beach and everywhere on the complex you had a wonderful view in the palm beach and the sea. The pool area is very generously designed and there are also enough sunbeds to the pool. These are however optically not very inviting. So well, we had a towel which one darauflegt and it is better. The pool is not heated, yes definitely not is necessary, is but unfortunately not very clean. The reinigungsaktivitäten may be instead of ..., but. Whirlpool was unfortunately cold, already in the paradisus del mar was the case. I can unfortunately not understand, a jacuzzi is only a hot tub, although the water temperature is available. Unfortunately this was in the spa area so. Not comprehensible. These areas we cannot simply use, but only against payment and then the whirpoll cold. Unfortunately the 5 stars are not the associated standard. Especially the bathroom is strong to be desired. Duschebadewanne with operation, the unfortunately not very welcoming appeared. Water pressure so small, that it was difficult, the hair wash. Even after this of us complained, this somewhat improved but still not so, that it is a pleasure at the to shower. The room (sea view ) was very spacious and we had a wonderful view on palms and sea. Unfortunately but it was not as clean as we had wished. The curtains were quite dusty and unfortunately also not more with all hooks and eyes appropriate. The closet was missing a door handle, allowing the heavy glass door unfortunately only very difficult to push left. The iron was functional, the cable but very serious. Furthermore was not probably for the planting angedachte border of the balcony with sand filled in the many cigarette butts and old cigarette packets were. Must that be. We think, if the manager this facilities a bit more about the details would be taken care of, it could surely one of the most beautiful attachments in this area his. And i believe not that one just behind socialism can hide. Since money enough it costs for the guest and staff are in this country not as expensive. We had the royal -service booked with gourmet -restaurant bella mar. From gourmet was no trace to find. We were 2 weeks in this hotel; daily the same menu for lunch and for dinner though another menu, but also daily the same dishes and the same side dishes. Of variety no trace. The dishes were also dearless, tasteless and qualitatively inferior prepared. This also applies to the other restaurants in this hotel. For a stay of 3a 4 days ok-but not for a longer stay adequate. Beach the royal area = you could not into the sea go, since only ... rocks are. To the left or right a hike make, then it will be only possible, without rocks into the sea to come. It was in january 2013 because a kaltwetterfront not very warm; strong winds and maximum daytime temperatures of 18 degrees. Value for money from royal -service don't! read more

    The rooms in the royal area were a dream. Wonderful outdoor shower as on the Maldives. Huge bathroom with whirlpool tub and two sinks on each side. Nice dressing room, separate toilet. Couldn't be better. Also here was the fridge with all filled what one wanted, from the sparkling wine, over beer, water to the rum. Because of the strong wind we could terrace and the beautiful beach chair there unfortunately not use.

    For cuban standards was the food very good. We were also absolutely not spoiled by our trip. There was the food inedible. Beef there was in the first days in the hotel not, but without the we could life. We have all the restaurants. At the mexican restaurant we visited 2 times (really nice service and good food). About a tip is happy to, but otherwise served in a friendly manner! Also in the buffet restaurant one could eat very well.

    It is very different, but we have to say, that our complaint the management by our (great, lovely and efficient) butler Kenya was well known, however, until last day not been solved and no certificate given, that we did not get the rooms got. We fandeen also the service for breakfast the royal not exhilarating. Coffee was always understood at the end of the breakfast, all was ok the service very slow, also for lunch. In the 'normal area' on the other hand, we have a good experience : friendly and speedy staff and very good food at the buffet.

In short: very nice and well-kept beach. The food corresponded in any case never a 5 star hotel. Lukewarm food (is typical of the country) no variation in the food, konservendosenobst or vegetables. However in other hotels the same class also the same food. The bar of course with the best cuban rum (this 5 star ) apart from that a great country. 2 weeks in the hotel were ok and relaxing. However next year prefer Mexico. read more

Cuba - we wanted Karibik and got mediterranean feeling. Salsa there were for lunch at the beach and with the dance for half an hour in the afternoon. That was it. In the 'disco' every evening the same songs in the same order-no one goes purely, absolutely dead pants. Tried with the food - you can fish, meat and pasta directly from a chef make let.     Disco was disaster. 2 time we were there and were the only guests.     Transfer by taxi to the airport:about 30 minutes. For varaderozentrum you could instead taxi with the tourist bus drive. These cost 5 cuk, exit 300 meters from hotel. For 5 cuk you could the whole day and on and off as often as you wanted. Whole tour takes about 2 hours. Oldtimer we paid just 13 cuk. 1 Euro is about 1.20 cuk. Exchanged money in the hotel-re-change we made with a slight loss at the airport. Evening was in the hotel rather boring. Standard/general: The standard is more like a 4 star hotel. We were in the hotel alamada Iberostar, the very good with the paradisus good and at just 4 stars. The sanitary facilities in the bathroom were old and a 5 star hotel not appropriate. Everything else was perfect! Great, large room, nicely furnished, lots of space! The area is very extensive and green, very well-kept! Beach/sea: The beach is but here can't be beat! The bay in front of the hotel there is a dream! It is hundreds of meters shallow into the water, meaning you can and see to ... the bottom! A karbischer tükisgrüner dream! There are enough chairs present and it's not allowed to reserve chairs, has here but also no one necessary, because you'll have the spoilt for choice, where you want to lie. A great choice of meals and delicious food. You have to, since it was often fresh on the grill prepared, some time. After the check-out we were a shower in a aneder room, unfortunately, there was a brief before departure a problem. Our key card didn't work, since it's a large area was, we back to reception which unfortunately much time cost to re-establish, that the new card did not work. Our collection through the bus moved ever closer. In the 3. try it folded, to our misfortune, there was in the room no towels and no hair dryer, so that we do not dry could.
