As a part of our 4-day safari we have 1 day/night in the ol tukai lodge at the foot of the kilimanjaro spent. The lodge is beautiful, everything was very well-kept. In the evening the valentinstags got every guest the restaurant a red rose given, a nice guests. The food was magnificent, the furniture in the room very nice, the pool freezing and refreshing. Actually, we very comfortable, but in the end, we were out of the locked room a watch stolen, while on game drive were. After the complaint at the front desk there was a lady with 2 ... other employees of the hotel, they wanted the room browse and required of us, all of our clothes and belongings from the backpacks were unpacking, also the content of the washing ashes, which i in respect to toiletries and (part already used) underwear not was pleasant, because the gentlemen everything into your hand took and ausschüttelten, finally, of course it would be possible, that we the clock accidentally packed and the hotel wrongly accused have. The clock showed up never more on, but ultimately one said us, we would be your own fault, because we the not in the safe put, but only after the sunscreen-lubricate on the table had forgotten. A shame, but that is for us a reason, the lodge not recommendable. read more

The ol tukai lodge is located in the middle in amboseli national park.
We only one night stayed there, which we thought was a pity, since it was the best place to stay for our safari was.
On the way there, we arrived at a masai camp past, especially for tourists was built, it was very interesting to see. The locals but wanted to 15 Euro per person entrance. For Kenya expensive, but ok.
At the lodge is all very safari-like decor. Great decor. The rooms are spacious in small cabins. The bathroom has a window, where you go into ... the free can see. It was very clean.
The masai guard the hotel and the monkeys from the food.
Food was great. There was a menu, that you from the map select. Really tasty! Breakfast was from the buffet, everything was there that you ask for.
The guest structure was mixed!
The employees speak english.
From the lodge you can directly on the prowl in the park, which is great, even before the breakfast one cannot animals. We would have remained gladly longer!
Behind the hotel is a meadow where animals (for example elephants) walk past. read more

The room was badly cleaned. In all rooms the roomboy the lights on, so that the bugs with collapsing darkness by the 1a 2 centimeter türspalt into the room came (we had about 50 grasshoppers in the room). At the front desk no swiss franc traded. Mass processing large level, the only ray of hope we saw, was in the dining area, where you very nice and helpful was. read more

The Lodge is OK, however very big and according to. There are 2 room per house, the swimming area is OK, as well as the bed. What us and other noticed, that our room on the day of our departure already during breakfast cleaned and for the next guests has been prepared. Fresh towels etc. Were laid out. However no clean bed sheets uses. This was for us and our traveling companions so, and we do not think it is possible, that this things again for US had been laid out are, as the leave to safari with almost all ... is the same. So, if you the rooms is, look, if the bed linen really smooth, because apart from that was your predecessors already in it. Our bed sheets was in the room definitely fresh. Maybe our concerns also wrong and the room was really again for we cleaned, which however makes no sense read more

The whole ambiance the lodge was great. The view of the amboseli park and kilimanjaro were great.
From the room from we could all the animals and they were only through a fence separated. This experience to have made, was really top notch.
We can this lodge absolutely recommend. All great! read more

The Ol Tukai Lodge is wonderful. She consists of bungalows with four units in a beautiful, well maintained garden area. There are many monkeys by the complex, very sweet, but doors please keep closed.
The room is big enough, also the bathroom. There are bottles of water for brushing your teeth, shower gel, shampoo and towels available. A flashlight is on the bedside table for eventual Power Outages. The whole bed you could a mosquito net drag. Our room had 'Elephant-view', which also applied. On the other side the hotel there were bungalows with 'mountain view'. The Kilimanjaro is however ... unfortunately often in clouds and thus a free opinion rather rarely. A nice pool there was also, which we didn't make use of.
Lunch and the breakfast was in buffet-Form. During dinner we could choose between a variety of pasta that changed daily or two different menus. We ordered the menu, was sublime.
Evenings a bonfire lit and one could comfortably around planting. In the background was a musician with his guitar. Wonderful! read more

The Oltukai lodge is located on a spacious Areal in the heart of the amboseli national park. It is fenced in, so you are protected the one-time view of the wide level with a myriad of animals in next proximity to its property (or to the restaurant or pool) can. Beside the Pavianen and meerkatzen, the also gladly times through the windowpane in the room look, we have 2,5 days amongst others Elephants, Hippos, buffalo, kronenkraniche, different antelopes and ostriches directly from our accommodation can watch.
The rooms are very spacious and nicely furnished. The electricity was of 18-24 ... and 5-8 hours. The food in the restaurant was in buffet form and could inside or outside on the terrace to be taken. It was plentiful, delicious and something was there for everybody. The bar has a terrace on the first floor. Drink prices as well as in other lodges ( Cola 150 KSH, beer 300 KSH).
The pool is for a lodge quite large, the water -press we positive-is refreshingly cool.
Very nice and attentive staff, which me with joy thereby helped, my Swahili-vocabulary to develop.
All together a great Lodge, the best we have ever had. read more

Really nice hotel in the heart of the amboseli national park, one of the most beautiful national parks in kenya! We made the jambo Kenya safari and were first in rockside camp (which i absolutely recommend can), then in this lodge and still in manyatta camp as a conclusion before it was to zanzibar ☺
The lodge is located in the heart of the parks, and is just brilliant! You can from the terrace with good view directly on the kilimanjaro and on huge elephant herds the approximately 100 meters on your doorstep past drag # absolutely breathtaking#
We found ... this lodge is the best stop during the safari. Especially recommendable is the hunting early in the morning when we lions, hyenas, elephants, hippo's and countless other animals could. Simply unforgettable!
The hotel is very well-kept and the staff totally nice & the chef spoke even a little german and is just a very cool and nice type ☺
The complex has specially a massai the monkey everywhere jump around dislodges, which was very funny to watch was ☺
Evening was à-la-carte food for everyone freely selectable and very delicious. read more

This was the nicest lodge during the safari. Bungalow was with a safe, shower gel, Mosquito nets and a fan. The pool area was clean, with sun loungers and towels provided, however without sun screens.
In the morning we had a great view at the klimandscharo.
Electricity was at certain times. Flashlight there was on site.
Food in the evening à la carte get, since in the lodge not much going on was, apart from that there are buffet.

Very well maintained, fine garden area with lodge at the foot of the Kilis. From the clean pool we could to the long level the Ambosellis with its wildlife and the cloudless Kilimandscharos see. The rooms are in bungalows built, it is modern. From some bungalows can get better on the level look from some limited. A kettle with coffee and tea is ready, however there is no tv in the room( which we didn't use) and also no hair dryer.
Food is good but the drinks are expensive.
Don't forget to use mosquito repellent and Morgenpirsch warm, long things ... wear.
Have fun and you also days a cloudless dining and bar areas read more

The ol tukai lodge was together with other lodges in the middle in amboseli national park. Wildlife and lodge only by a Elektrozaun separated.
The bungalows were spread out extensive on the complex. From the veranda we had a great view in the savanna and elephants and zebras Watch.
The beautiful rooms were with a safe and kettle equipped and had a large sanitary area.
Only one negative was: the toilet didn't work so well.
The outdoor area with a pool landscape was very well-kept.
Lunch and breakfast were as a buffet offered. During dinner there were appetizer and dessert ... as a buffet and the main course as menu selectable. Everything was very delicious. read more

As we also here only a night spent, we can to the free timeand other no statement meeting. In the departure I had my sunglasses in the room left.
