As family vacation the hotel is elenite very good, four hotels belong in addition. All hotel the sternzahl 4a 4.5, the hotel royal bay. Unfortunately is royal bay in comparison to the other not good enough in the: service, equipment, furniture and staff at the reception. The rooms are wiped only superficial, the walls and corners are stained and dirty. The beds for children impossible, the were actually no beds, but two armchair with sleeping, the for sleeping not at all suitable are, you feet higher than head. The bed linen everyone 2a 3 days changed and exactly often ... cleaned. We had the double room (1 room -4 beds) with a view of the sea and small balcony. The hotel is directly at the beach also the pool is located a few sritten from the entrance. At the entertainment and child care would all 5 stars, the young fully talented team has the kids and adults 6 days the week amused with games, shows and concerts. read more

Since we the only German guests in this hotel were you felt not comfortable. TUI told us the not Why has? Except with a hand to counting cultivated russians english Sweden was the rest an absolute mess (drinking binge and furnishings. The hotel is located in a very nice area and has lots of activities to offer. The hotel is directly on the beach and is located on the beautiful sea. The beach is not always completely cleanly however actually correct. The food in the hotel is unfortunately not well cooked internationally however. It is also very little alternation in the salad range and fruit. That is a little unfortunate however otherwise super Hotel. read more

Absolutley dirty our bedding never got changed once in 2 weeks even thow we asked for clean bed linnen, food well i would"nt give to my dog its undercooked and cold its disgutingly unhygienic as the table clothes were dirty and the plates smelt like wet dog, the staff very rude, animation team are a waste of time, and there is nothing to do wotsever, 4 star my arm its more like a 2 star IF THAT. wouldnt return if somebody paid me.i really wouldnt recommened to anybody. i stayed on the 9th of may 2010 for 2 weeks ... and was so glad when i got back on the plane to return home. read more

Closed plant with 5 hotels and two restaurants, whereby this hotel is because of the edge. No cars and unrest from the environment, since only E-Cars on the area drive here around guests including luggage to the hotels and/or Bungalows bring. Is the sea view MUST, since the hotel is here directly because of a mountain and the exhausts of the air conditioning system are hidden. In Bulgaria the meals are generally served warmly lau, can be heated up however in the microwave again. Calm situation directly at the black sea, with fantastic clear water, beautiful sand beach and marvelous ... view. For us a correct recovery!!! Hourly bus traffic after Nessebar (direct to the sun beach). To the airport after Burgas there is about 35 km. read more

I landed with friend and one infant each in September 09 in this hotel, because Andalusia (same plant) should be closed allegedly. I want to make it short, since actually this hotel does not earn any further time expenditure: PER: Layer, view of the balcony, terraces RETORT: Dirty, stinking rooms, service, unfriendly staff, little helpful, not child-safe playground the one Schlammloch (water comes from downside by the Gully) and is never cleaned, exactly the same as the beach, at the 1000nde did not resemble dumps and plastic cup to lie about. Nothing for infants, who are themselves everything into the ... mouth. Many stones at the beach, bath shoes carry forward, but who wants there already still? Once Bulgaria and never again. That was a general echo also from other hotels…. Travel rather elsewhere… read more

The sand beach was marvelous, but if one wanted in the water, one had to cross one about 6m broad rubble strip under water, which for small children is impossible. We recommend to carry bath shoes forward. The Kidsclub was completely overcrowded, since the entire park met there. The animators did not speak German. In the restaurant one had to constantly eat with people together, which in still wet bath things, free torsos (men), sandigen feet with Flip flop or without shoes the restaurant to have entered completely. Without English knowledge is one completely aufgeschmissen, since no Germans speaks. The ... tiles in the hotel corridor are broken, please never barefoot run. Also furniture in the room is more broken than welfare. The rent for the safe pure rip-off (10 days about 40, - euro) at the nettesten were the charwomen, who fulfilled their job to 100%. With the remainder of the staff it is called not yet the “customer is king”. read more

We were with the hotel altogether content and the vacation are quite recommendable there. Rooms, situation, cleanliness and quality of the meal quite corresponded to our conceptions of a good hotel. However the service is in particular in the dining hall improvement worthy. Tables only at the beginning of the meal times covered up it was missing constantly to something. If one wanted to eat melon, was she everything. If one wanted to drink wine, the straight glasses were not missing and one a cutlery had got, were straight plates there…. one had without nothing to do, could not however ... its expiration of meal to plan. The sea view and the large room compensated however such small inconsistencies. read more

On recommendation of my parents we also booked this beautiful hotel in this year. We were in all things which beach, room, fantastic prospect on the sea, atmosphere of the plant and the recovery effect very contently. One should have however no all too high requirements to the kitchen. Very simply and partly monotonously, spices are intended to a large extent not in the plan. The organization of the restaurant, which concerns simple regulations of cleanliness, belongs according to to our opinion simply only into professional hands. Then it is perhaps possible “to brush " the wastes off of the ... predecessor before one new cutlery presents not to let the meal remainders come into contact with in the morning the freshly tightened blouse in one when clearing forwards sorted and not all components the meal to the chest to be slipped to be able, so that one can carry 10 plates at one time… Entire staff of the catering trade overloads. read more

We selected ourselves the place Elenite, since we made vacation once there before 10 years already. At that time there were only the Bungalows and 2 small hotels. The Royal Bay was not at the time yet and if, because a begun building ruin. To say it is that the plant Elenite overflowed perfectly in the season (which due to the many large new hotels is also understandable). One finds a spot at the beach or at the pool despite everything. The hotel is friendly clean and the staff. Also the meal was good, one always something found. Badly only ... that so many adults at specially the Kinderbuffet availed themselves - “not possibly”! That personal brushed off and prepared the tables cleanly. Bad it was only that those few Leutchen, as already said, perfectly overloaded was. No miracle, if some people cannot behave themselves like Schw ** one and eat correctly. Here I must particularly mention the Russians and Engländer, who are represented in large number here. Those get themselves masses at meals and create it in the end not. There Kirschkerne on the tablecloth spat etc. I would like in this sense not further to omit itself - however with many of such tables one must follow only times. Who would like to go out greatly, seih said - drive to the sun beach. Into Elenite are calmly and that are also well like that. Tip: Travel with the boat after Nessebar over here. Costs with 2 adults and 1 child around the 30 euro back and forth. Is recommended however much. Otherwise very beautiful vacation - however Russian peak period! read more

In the bath the shower curtain was defective to mould, discharge of tub and wash basin. Toilet seat was the coating off.     room like said so far ok. Bath was without mould. Here we had heard also different one. Safe very expensively. about 4 euro per day, on ours ask whether we would be insured - only a very intelligent view and no information. We did not use air conditioning system, but it was too cold. One could stop heating, was however defective. Here there was no reaction on ours inquires. Warm water failed also 2 1/2. Television available however partially with rather distorted clay/tone. A tip: Portable DVD player carries, TV-equipment forward had scart. Current supply went also, one should only no fear forwards transmit have. The plug sockets were to wound not really firmly. Room cleaning was good. Charwoman was a completely dear exception.

    Beach was ok, since one was dependant not on the piece before royal. Bus connection before the hotel toward sunny beach available and favorably. Taxi expensively. The hotel itself was not all that large. By comparison, the other hotels in the complex could be described as true holiday barracks. The Royal Bay, on the contrary, is located in a quite corner at the end of the complex. Our room was alright. It was not too crowded, as we were there during the early season. One did, however, notice that toward the end of June there was a steady influx of tourists, and that the situation in the restaurant got worse. The hotel conditions met the poor standards of the buildings that one would expect to find ... in an impoverished country of this sort. 4 stars are nonetheless unjustified! Unfortunately, there were also frequent power outages. The preparation of food was also affected by the power outages. There were good doctors with German emergency ambulances (the newest Mercedes vehicles with Binz technology) and German paramedics in the complex. read more

    The rooms were furnished nicely and lovely. The air conditioner could have been stronger. We did not use the TV, nor the safe. What a rip-off (over 50 Euro for 2 weeks) to demand a fee for this in a country with an increased safety hazard. We always kept our valuables with us. Even on the beach. There was nothing to steal in the room. The towels were clean. Our crib and its mattress were very rudimentary though. We were given a cover used for the garden benches that did not fit inside the crib. It kept slipping all the time, and our son was lying there very uncomfortably and slept very poorly as a result of that. Few days later, we saw another bed with a mattress in the hallway and asked the cleaning lady to give us the mattress. She gave it to us.

    As we were there in the early season, we were lucky to regularly receive seats in the restaurant. It was much more difficult to receive one of the three available kids' high chairs. They were pleather high chairs made in Italy. Every once in a while the covers were being washed, so that there was only one chair available at the time. There were a few others made out of wood, but it was not possible to adjust the strap. Sadly, the chairs were so dingy that every child picked up the dirt from the other. The choices of food were not very plentiful, but food was abundant nonetheless. If one were not to eat up all the food every day (and that was really quite impossible), one would have a very diverse menu. The fruits were alright, and so were the ice cream and cakes. At that time we did not have any qualms with the food. It was rather the cups, glasses, and teaspoons that we had problems with. They were in short supply. The waiting staff was able to speak English for most part. Some of them were really good. The others quite the opposite. A new waitress (and there was new waiting staff constantly) could hardly walk in her high heels, spoke no English, always looked grim-faced, and looking pretty was all she cared about. Once she put a glass of water on the rim of my plate, which, of course, caused the glass to fall and my pants to get wet. She apologized immediately and ran away. She simply left me seated like this! While we were eating, the cleaning ladies would come around and sweep the floors between the tables. One of them did not speak any English, but was very nice to our son. He was always happy when she came. That was so cute! We tipped secretly the good employees at the end. The waiters and the cleaning ladies were actually not allowed to accept such money. On the way to the complex, there was a beach bar where one could have hot dogs. Apart from having tasted unpalatably, our bread roles were moldy. They were definitely moldy. We showed this to employees and attempted to explain that there was mold. They acted confused and did not understand anything (or, as it was often the case, did not really want to understand).

    Service was a foreign word to the most employees. Only a few could or wanted to speak English and German. It was quite odd that a receptionist at a four-star hotel was not even able to speak English. Many weeks after the holiday, we noticed something else. We had dropped off 16 postmarked greeting cards on 4 different days at the hotel reception. According to the house rules, the mail service was included in the overall service. Up until now, sadly, no single card has ever arrived to its destination. One could ponder over one's lot, especially when one realizes, how poor the people there were and that, according to the rumors, many employees did not get paid until the end of the season... if at all. We should have mailed our greeting cards ourselves. It is also important to note that in the entire complex, there were no ATM machines and no phone booths. Inside the exchange office, it was possible to withdraw money from a credit card, resulting in very high fees. Otherwise, exchanging money in Sonnenstrand might be a better option, as the exchange rates in the complex were really bad. We were very happy with our cleaning lady.

    Our son is still very little. That's why the entertainment was not an option for him, and we did not need something like that either. I was under the impression that something was always offered. Once around noon, we had observed how a few entertainers of a German travel group "were playing" with children. They laid out different kinds of sand toys and the kids were supposed to play with them. This was very irresponsible. We did not really use the swimming pool, as we had the sea. The tiles were falling apart in the swimming pool, which was especially painful in the entrance area of the pool. There were no covers for the pool chairs on the beach.

    The hotel was located in a quiet corner directly on the beach. Provided that one had a room with a view to the sea, one was able to enjoy the wonderful view of the Black Sea. As the hotel was at the end of the complex, the beach was not kept in a good condition. Depending on the weather conditions (heavy swell), sometimes there were more, sometimes less stones in the sand. This would have been a very quiet location, if it had not been for the constant noise disturbance over the loudspeakers at the beach. For a long time, Bulgaria was under the Ottoman (nowadays Turkish) rule. This had shaped the country and the oriental music had lent a unique flair to it all. If one, however, had to listen to the music all the time, including the announcements of some sporting events droned in lousy German, one would have been tempted to cut the loudspeaker cables. (At this point we were really glad about the power outages). Incidentally, the sporting events were not announced in English. One knew its customers well ;) We could not say that we really had any problems with the Brits, who were definitely a majority.

    we had a family room with the separate side room for the kids. the room was huge which was ideal for the kids, TV in the kids room had no socket to plug in an ariel so that never worked, our TV was dead when we arrived and it took 4 complaints to reception and me walking a manager up to our room to get it sorted. The air con never worked but i couldnt find anyone who had a working unit. the only english TV channel was BBC world news.

    The food is not brill. The buffet restaurant was always busy and i dread to think what its like in the summer, i was usually able to find something to eat but it gets a bit repetitive after a few days, its regularly stone cold and quite often the chicken was not cooked. there are 3 other restaurants that you can use, the first is Talyana which is a BBQ style restaurant and was not bad, again watch for the raw chicken, the second is a Bulgarian style restaurant called Sozzapol (not sure of the spelling), we did not eat here but heard good reports about the food, the last one is in the 5 star hotel next door, its called Sunshine and is only open from 10pm till 11pm (great idea that) this one has waiters and you get to choose from a menu. All 3 of these need to be booked in advance, although Sunshine was always empty, probably because of the opening times. Ther are many snack bars around for hotdogs, kebabs (or as the sign says kepaps), pizza and sandwiches. the only place on the whole site for ice cream is in the back of the coffee shop. the poster in reception says that there is a baked potato stall next to reception but no one could find that. another thing i find strange is that there is nowhere to get food after 9: 30. we found ourselves going accross the road to Pacos Bar, dont be put off by the fact it looks like it was built by robinson cruso, its a great place and opens from 4pm till whenever they feel like closing.

    now this is where it gets scary....... the great Royal Park towel scam....... we had heared about a great many people being charged for missing towels when they tryed to check out, so we kept count of ours each day and if they were incorrect we would go to reception and ask for a replacement, after being accused of leaving it on the beach or by the pool we would get another one. when we were checking out 2 familys were being asked for payment for missing towels, one lady, staying with 3 kids was being told she had to pay 155 levs.

    The 2 pools that are with this hotel are okay but both were freezing. The area around the pool was usually full even though the hotel was only at one third full occupancy, i would imagine that in august its a complete nightmare. The entertainment was awful. the ampitheatre was closed for repair so the only place for entertainment was the animation hall. my kids will usuall watch any old rubbish but even they complained about it, imagine getting the krankies and the chuckle brothers together, getting them drunk and watching them, well thats the quality of the entertainment.

This hotel is very recommendable, if one really wants to disconnect on vacation. The hotel is located in a quiet place, the kitchen and drinks are very good. The personnel is very friendly and helpful, the only deficiency is tackling a large 2,5 meter pebble stone before stepping on the sand ground when going swimming in the sea. read more
