Hotel Mercure Nadi Fiji^{(3 stars)}

The Mercure Hotel is only a few kilometers away from the airport and is therefore very well as a base for the first or last night on Viti Livu there is a free shuttle bus service to the airport, the Hauptflugzeiten all 20 to 30 minutes drives. I have the night in a German tour operator for a cheap price booked. Per person about 40 Euro, however without breakfast I found completely reasonable for the offered. Sure the hotel offers no so luxurious ambience as the Sheraton or The Westin in the nearby located Port Denareau. But this hotels are ... also much more expensive. The value for money think Mercure really good. The rooms are huge with mini bar, Clock Radios, TV and air conditioning. Even an iron and iron stood in the closet. The only thing, what I have to complain about, was the centrally controlled air conditioning, the not enough the room cooled. Thus it was quite stuffy and I was glad, that my room was quiet in the direction garden and pool location was. Therefore I could the balcony door wide open and the cooler fresh air let in. Otherwise I would have the whole night didn't sleep a wink. The dinner I have in the restaurant 'Rokete' taken. This is half-open by the pool and offers international cuisine. My fish was good and the price was with about 10 Euro appropriate. As I the next morning very early to leave, I could no breakfast in the hotel get, as this only from 6 o'clock in the morning begins. Had this hotel for a night as a stopover to my captain Cook round trip used. General condition was very tidy, as well as friendliness of the staff and the size, cleanliness of the room. A small Grocery store with souvenir shop borders the hotel. who Fiji without self-contained resort wants to experience is right at home here. I Fiji so as it is, if you went out of the hotel, you have a life of the islanders, nearby of the hotel there is a convenience store, restaurants where very polite and nice served. The prices in the restaurant similar ... to those in Germany. My in short, for 1a 2 nights I would book this hotel again, so recommendable nonetheless. read more

Great hotel. In this hotel i have only 1 night spent, as i on this day no yasawa flyer more got. The bar is very funny. The staff friendly and accommodating. How far the beach away, i can't say, as i the next morning right next to the harbor drove. read more

As we had in the evening on the airport from Nadi landed, we have this hotel for a stop off. It is however not our expectations respectively experiences from other Mercure- hotels. To bridge( near the airport) but it is nevertheless suitable. The room was spacious and clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast in comparison to the other hotels in Fiji however somewhat modest. Internet too expensive. read more
