Hotel Avidon Airport^{(4 stars)}

The from the outside unassuming hotel is inside very stylish, the staff were always extremely friendly and competent. The room was very clean and very attractively furnished. Large, very comfortable mattresses and bedding in over size! Good connections with the S-Bahn (on the doorstep) to the center (about 30 minutes), with other S-Bahn (3 minutes on foot) to the airport (1 station). Also on foot is the way to the airport about minutes easy to reach! We didn't have breakfast. Great hotel for business trip or as an airport hotel! read more

Needed only a hotel for sleeping after the partying in Düsseldorf because a large events in the town, ( sensation white). Thereby we were rebuffed by this hotel. Just the best for this cause. read more

We have only a short night spent in the hotel, because we Düsseldorf went on vacation are. The room was huge, clean and peaceful. The receptionist was very accommodating and the hotel's bar is a real eye catcher. The hotel is from the inside very nice and interesting furnished. Gladly again at any time! read more

We have this hotel as a connecting station for our flight booked. From Düsseldorf main station one drives only a couple of minutes with the subway and then at best 5 minutes on foot to the hotel. From far away you can see the hotel sign in roof. From the outside the hotel makes a not-so beautiful impression. Is a former apartment house, for design hotel was being remodeled. As soon as you the hotel enter all possibly bad impressions flew. The hotel is through and through a real design hotel, everywhere there are things to be seen, even the ... toilets of the restaurant area are the hit. Our double room was really beautiful, flat tv, safe, balcony, everything also really clean. Only fly in the ointment the tram. Behind the hotel is a turnaround for the tram and the rumbling noise partly quite loud in front of the hotel by-) the good but. Night tram more. Evenings we were next door ( approximately 50 meters) in a genuine Düsseldorf pub for food. Good for a small price. Recommendable nonetheless. In the morning for breakfast, which was not in the double room price included is, we were in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast costs 16., -€ per person, which was not cheap is however it was worth it. Great breakfast in a fine ambience. In short: great hotel, really recommendable! read more

The rooms were reasonable, quite generous, functional. As the tram stops at the hotel that goes, it was sometimes quite loud, so that you only with the window closed with stuffy air in the room could sleep. Was to be criticized much the Spartan breakfast, for a whopping 16 euros, in of the kids bar, with just 3 tables to take had to. We were therefore on the counter stools breakfast, we were given only a plate with a few slices sausage and cheese serves. Not even the cover was completely, there was no cream, or eggs or fruit, eTC. ... Even after the second cup coffee we had to ask. We were not informed, that part areas, like for instance the breakfast room, located in renovation there. We would have been informed, we would have certainly not breakfast. Also the information at the front desk considerable to desire. read more

Since the airport is next hotel with the large ' S'almost daily other room rates have, we have, as we were late in Düsseldorf ended up, for an overnight stay in this relatively small hotel. The price (89, -EURO for the night per room) seemed to us for airport- proportions very cheap. When the unfriendly taxi driver (he had hoped for a longer trip as the 2 kilometer) in front of the hotel, had dropped, we were really nicely surprised. we found a lovely equipped House, the title 'design' really all honour made. everywhere Works of art, Paintings on the ... walls, Holo grams lamp, open fireplace and so on we didn't expect. And then the friendly, or better heartfelt welcome at the front desk! In spite of the late hour (it was already 10:30 P. M.) the lady took time for us, explained everything in detail. The breakfast we also booked for 15, -EURO per person. Also the room was with a lot of love to Detail equipped. Flat screenTV, air conditioning, safe, wardrobe, coat racks (Butler), free Wi-Fi were available. There was also a bottle of water free of charge available. The beds were very comfortable. the only, which bothered me a bit, was the tram, the front of the hotel with a loud squeaking and rattled of the more often drove by. Maybe was our room also inconvenient location. the ordered Wake up call came on time great. The breakfast was absolutely top notch: freshly squeezed orange juice, various rollsand bread, lots of choice of sausage, cheese, homemade marmelade, cereal, to eggs, coffee preparations according to the choice of the machine, everything very decoratively presented, we would have preferred us hour long in this brilliant atmosphere anyway. we can highly recommend this hotel, you feel like you're in a small other world in contrast to the hectic airport. read more

Modern and nice hotel. Very near the airport, only one station with the subway( 2.40 euros). èberall in the hotel free Wi-Fi, however not everywhere ideal quality. Tram stop right next to the hotel, thus perfect connection to the center. read more

For an early flight on the next day booked. Staff was very friendly and went without problems to our needs. The rooms were attractively with comfy beds. Unfortunately no choice possibility to a coffee to cook. Price-performance really reasonable. Taxi costs about 8, -EURO read more

Cheap hotel and good for an overnight stay before or after a flight. The airport is with the S-Bahn good. The hotel lies at a final stop of tram which you until betriebsschluss and leave hears. As ear plugs in the luggage not hurt. read more

The tasteful and modern decor, the front desk, as well as an excellent choice of drinks at the hotel bar, the check in to the experience. The lovingly designed and varied breakfast is above average for a hotel of this size. My conclusion: very recommendable read more

If you just want an overnight stay was well cared for, however, is the excessively high for 9, -€ per night and not covered. The breakfast buffet is not recommended unfortunately, rolls mushy, cold cuts and cheeses already dried (we were around 9:30 A.M. breakfast) the offer was rather moderate and for 16, -€ per person worst price/performance ratio. Night very good the room was clean, bathroom was modern furnished. Night we can recommend but you should avoid the breakfast and parking. read more

We stayed for one night at the avidon hotel and we enjoyed it very much. A designer Hotel, which all face up to four stars! Optics, decor and design are great. The decor taste of older guests safe not often, but for us it was great! Especially impressive was the breakfast (06,30 o 'clock until eleven o' clock), with 16 €per person which is not exactly cheap, but all expectations vollstens did. A huge selection and self-service detail-great! Fresh fruit, fresh cereal (6 different cereals to choose from), always enough sausage, cheese etc. as, a large selection of sausage ... and cheese. Every guest will personally asked, whether it is a scrambled eggs or fried eggs and with what ingredients-and the whole of freshly prepared! Especially good we found the check-in (from 15 o 'clock) and check out (until twelve o' clock-super): very friendly staff, efficient and helpful. Disturbing was the regularly railcars tram, the noise sensitive people could get from the sleep. All in all: great hotel, super clean, super friendly staff, great rooms! We'll be back! ☺ read more
