Very nice and great hotel. Really nice beach! We had great weather, always about 25 degrees with a lot of wind! The staff is very friendly! Room was always thoroughly cleaned! The restaurants and toilets are always clean! Really nice vacation! read hotel review

This is an excellent hotel for a relaxed stay by the pool or the beach. Animation for those who want it. Food is good quality and taste and there is plenty to choose from. Room are 'african' 5 star. read hotel review

What we got in the Iberostar Boa Vista definitely does not justify the price that we paid for two weeks. The hotel should have 4 stars. Okay, I understand these are African conditions, but you can expect a minimum of hygiene and some variety in the food at 1800 euros for two weeks, can't you? ROOM + The rooms are okay, simply decorated and quite spacious. They are carefully cleaned and well maintained. The air conditioning - quite quiet and effective; the technically nonsensical installation of the shower trays, however, ensures that a tremendous flood which goes into the room ... occurs after every shower. We built ourselves a dam from towels, so as not to have to sleep in a flooded room. FOOD AND BEVERAGES + The food was okay, the food was well cooked (which is really important in a warm country) and initially quite tasty. • unfortunately, they all tasted pretty much the same and repeated after 3 days at the latest. For a stay of 14 days, that can be really monotonous. If there had been anything around, where you could have eaten something else, then it would have been okay, but around the hotel there is only the sea and the desert (apart from one or two other hotels)! So take it or leave it. • In a 4 star hotel it is probably to be expected that a freshly squeezed orange juice is served at breakfast. No chance! On 3 of the 14 days, a kind of pureed cocktail was made from CANNED fruit (!). Otherwise, there was a choice orange or yellow dishwater from a sort of machine, which was made with colorings. Disgusting! • In the dining area cats walked around and sparrows happily hopped through chickpeas - or pasta salads. Yes, I read the reply of the Online Reputation Manager to a similar complaint. Yes, it is understandable that birds will come into the buffet area with the open-plan architecture and lots of opportunities to sit outside. okay, understood. But when you know that, why are only half of the dished under glass covers? Sorry, i don't understand that! Disgusting! FEEDBACK ROUND IN THE HOTEL • About 2-3 days after our arrival there was very lovingly prepared food in the evenings, in the mornings there was the 'great' pureed cocktail. The staff was running around very nervously, including some men in suits that looked as though they held a leadership position. Feedback forms were distributed (how did you find the food? the room cleaning? etc.) and then collected in again. In the days after, the quality and selection of the meals fell immediately. Even the coffee was as thin as tea! We were shocked: feedback collected and then sh. the same? STAFF + The people of Cape Verde are the most loving and pleasant people ever! The service was just impeccable. Great! Three cheers for the coffee princess from the bar next to the reception - it was already unnecessary to put in an order after a few days: she saw us and started to make us a fantastic coffee! All in one: overpriced and bad. Sorry, people of Cape Verde, we'll miss you, but we will not go to the Iberostar again! read hotel review

The hotel is an African 5* hotel and can not be compared with other 5*hotels of Iberostar in Europe. It's located at a very nice sandy and long beach, very nice for couples looking for a relaxing holiday with sun, sea and good food. read hotel review

Cockroaches everywhere, unusable terrace belonging to our room, full of lice from a bougainvillea hanging over the whole terrace. The furniture on the terrace was sticky and was white with lice, the whole floor was sticky, so you got stuck with your shoes. Tasteless, bland food, without large variety. Not even reasonably acceptable fruit, rotten apples, pears, mushy bananas, white strawberries. If you were lucky you got a few grapes, but of course everybody grabbed them, if there were any. The birds bathed in the 'water yogurt' and got what they wanted from the buffet, nobody stopped it. Every morning ... we would plead for hot coffee, otherwise there was lukewarm coffee in constantly open Thermos flasks. It has to be said that the staff was nice and tried hard, but they just have their instructions and stick to them, and they are probably not used to anything else. I would also like to mention never again ITS, as nothing worked there. No notice when booking that you can only take 15 kilos of luggage, there was also no food or drink on the plane (which they should have told us about I think), if you fly all your life like us it was always that way and they want to change it they should tell the customer, supposedly not even the travel agent knew about that. Then no Visa was registered for us, we had to pay that there and have now waited 8 weeks at home and had several complaints until we had our money back and that not even with a nice letter. You can also spare yourself the excursions, only sand and stones for a lot of money and they also simply come with cars with flatbeds on the back and then you can sit on it and drive over rough and smooth terrain without being able to hold on securely, not even including the dust and sun, which not everyone can handle, because there are no paved roads here. So in conclusion we've really seen a lot of the world but this was the last one. read hotel review

You can not compare this hotel with a 5 star hotel to other exotic destinations, but you know that when you go to Cabo Verde. You should see it as 5 African stars. Beautiful property that is well maintained, rooms are refreshed and that's well done. Beach with steps down, beautiful white sand beach. The food was for me rather 4 * but what was there was good flavor. The staff is very friendly. read hotel review

We were for one week in 07 märzbis 14 march 2014 Iberostar. The hotel is great in the landscape and is not a 'large block' as the Riu hotels. The garden area was a sea of flowers and is very well maintained and clean. Also the pool area was very thoughtfully designed. It looks as if the pool from above into the sea would tiles. The food was excellent and there was a huge selection of salad, starters and main courses available. The dining room was always clean and the tables were nicely set with cloth napkins. The drinks were ... the food served at the table. The staff was super friendly (from the cleaning lady to the manager). Every day our bed was decorated with flowers. There were 6 german tv stations - if you want to see news or similar) there were also some employees who speak german very well (including a gentleman at the reception). The beach is beautiful. The only thing i can 'fault', that too little wind protection was set up. Since during our holiday it was very windy, and the few places were quickly taken protected. Our conclusion - at any time again it was great. The 2 week we were in the hotel on sal. Oasis atlantico salinas sea - one only the perfect service in disappointment after Iberostar. read hotel review

The hotel is very beautifully put on, with many small 2 - story buildings, courtyards and flowers. On the whole it was very well maintained. At our travel time there were hardly any children and rather older guests were present. read hotel review

    The room was nice. A few smaller some repairment works would necessary. In the bathroom it on some days a little musty smell. The safe was for an extra charge.

    There was a main restaurant, a pool bar, a beach bar and a lobby bar. The food was varied with plenty of choice and plentiful. Tasty one was it correct to good, but nothing special. The all inclusive wine is not drinkable, the cocktails ok, the beer very well! The buffet was also always liquor to self-service included. In the main restaurant were especially at the breakfast the sparrows, the also stayed at the fruit and cheese herumpickten. The espresso at the pool bar is very good, the coffee in the restaurant was rather not. also already times at the fruit or cheese herumpickten.

    The problem with the occupied couches at the pool we couldn't understand, we had no problems, free beach chairs. There was a varied entertainment program, which we did not take up however. Occasionally there was a bit annoying entertainers, but it was still in order. The spa is highly recommended (especially the hot stone massage)!

    The transfer from the airport took about 10 minutes, so very convenient. To sal rei is about 20 minutes Taxis, you can relax at any time at the reception.

I would always go back to this hotel and book. The room was clean and equipped with a tv. The food was great and plentiful, if you stay here is the food was not tasty at all. I can't say, there were so many different dishes and the taste is great. The pool area is great and the service there is it also. I can also recommend a island tour, http://www.     The rooms are certainly not design price for the most beautiful hotel room, but all necessary and desirable features. And in a hotel you will not the whole day in the room! So to the other reviewers: please have to leave the local church! In terms of cleanliness and cleaning there was nothing to complain about. Only the lighting could be better.

    For all-inclusive standards very good and high-quality food in the main restaurant (buffet). No cafeteria atmosphere. The snack bar is apart from the salad buffet were so so. Alternatively you could in a waiter service only reserve a table (if you there is no extra charge, otherwise the wine to pay). The food was not better nor much different than the buffet. Furthermore, a half-hour by three course chased, one can give oneself. Cocktails at the bar were not the best.

Sporting talent and foreign language skills are definitely not to the einstellungsvoraussetzungen! Also the evening meetings were mostly not the brüller. Beach/pool/beach chairs were perfect. A catastrophe is the number of beach chairs and umbrellas at the pool and beach! In this hotel is to reserve at least until 8 hours citizen's first obligation. From 8:30 there was no free beach chair is more, and this during the off season. But i can't confirm, that the majority of the reserving sunbeds then only sporadically used. If you pool, sports and restaurants into account, the beach chairs were quite used.     Is located on a cliff about 50m above the beach. Extremely broad perfect sandy beach, gently sloping into the sea. To the airport it was 10 minutes drive. From the airplanes hears one at night still nothing and during the day, if at all, very few. No public transportation and no infrastructure around the hotel.

It is a good 4 star hotel for relaxing. The bungalow-style it fit very well into the landscape. The hotel experienced already better times, but the staff tried hard, the small damage here and there to fix it. The number of rooms was impressive, it must not be more. We do, so often it is, in such small areas on. From the nationalities it was very mixed. There were guests from France, Germany, the Switzerland, Italy and England since. It was again beautiful, without herumschreiende guests from Russia. It is a hotel for those seeking peace people, so it was ... a bed 30 guests, young people were rather rare (we were in november since).     The room was from the size sufficiently large. We have anyway only to sleep used. The beds were a bit soft. The headboards missing outlets. The air conditioning worked very well. The room was completely cleaned daily. Fresh towels and bottled water were also always there. The bathroom was not any more the newest. The fixtures had its best years behind it. It was unfortunately also no shower curtain installed, so that a normal shower the bathroom floor of 'flooded' was. Pleasant was in the early evening the terrace.

    We only used the 'normal' restaurant for food. There is another, in which one for its food paid. The restaurant is clean, and has something to offer for everyone. To all meals there is plenty of choice for every taste. The food is international, the chefs are always tried hard, something new to offer. It was in 14 days always again a surprise, so it was not monotonous. The staff expect a tip and is very friendly, but with a small tip still can improve. What would bother you, is the sight of bathe or beach chlothes with dinner. At the bars are often the ingredients for good drinks, as mint or a dark rum. The, large bar by the pool closes in the evening it was a bit too early. The atmosphere in the evening was quiet, in the Karibik it is a bit loose.

    The service can one very friendly rate. The personnel has always a couple friendly words for every guest left. With little foreign languages very well. When we in the hotel checked in we got a windstilles rooms, the mosquitoes totally covered was. With the help our rep we received after about 1.5 hour a room, that although the wind umweht was, but therefore very rarely of mosquitoes was struck. The room was daily cleaned and with fresh towels equipped.

    The hotel is located about 10 minutes away from the airport. Shopping and night life there was not, the hotel is for those seeking peace absolutely suitable. But you are with a perfect beach surprised! It is very long and broad, just perfect. We have no excursions.

    The bathroom was rather functional and not so nice, sink outside of the bathroom. In-room safe is unfortunately not all inclusive. Otherwise already good room and it was also clean. To the greetings there was a towel heart with flowers. On the first evening there was 2 hour no water.

    Ingenious beach, wide and south still not all built up yet. To the beach runs one some meters uphill. Flag was usually red, we and many others were still in the sea. At our travel time was wellentechnisch no problem. If you are on the island then, the beach and you can have a few excursions (bspw, quad route or island tour, katamaren ).

What i than brilletragende woman to put on makeup was missing; is a kosmetikspiegel, as the vanity is very large and you are far the mirror prevention must be something to see.     Simple but clean. Large rooms. Tv i didn't use. Air conditioning worked perfectly. As already mentioned, i do not have a mirror but other than that everything was there, what you need. Beds are very comfortable and not worn out. Even got a bottle of sparkling wine on the room, because i the 2 time in there was... I found very nice, thank you.

    I found also this time again, every day a delicious food, in the evening there was the tastiest sardines, which i ate ever, wonderful inlaid... Swarm * and octopus in all variations. Fish gave it also each day, and everything else was really not bad, but about the taste argue. I eat certainly not everything but if you didn't find anything here, it was your own fault! The staff is always hard and friendly!

    At the reception one is endeavored, is as everywhere always depends on who you just in front of you... German in this hotel only conditionally spoken but with english or french you got along everywhere clear. Whoever wanted could before the trip but also fast portuguese learning g * (official language there) room very clean. A broken light bulb was after 5 minutes replaced. The medical care i got at a badeunfall a man lives came, unfortunately very poor with. Here you should definitely do something! For example, training of the boys in terms of first aid! Emergency call worked as good as no and resuscitation only sparse. Terrible i found, that this evening everything completely normal continue to run... After the motto: the show must go on!

    The pools were in october wonderfully warm compared to the may, the first time i was there. The pools were very clean. Beautiful is the sea-facing pool... The beach chairs at the pools are covered and without cushions but also everyone before its reservation on photos can see. I personally had no problems with the beach chairs and it was very comfortable. Cushions would also because of the strong wind blow away... Pool towels were brand new and very clean. On the beach was much has changed since may. The beach chairs were from the sand 'unearthed' and in rows and it was newly planted. I sentence very good. Few more umbrellas on the beach would be great!

    The beach is unique, as you walk for miles and not crowds accomodating... Here one can its holiday and the peace enjoy. The airport is only a few minutes away from the hotel but no aircraft noise caused. Who night owls is, is here but at the wrong place. The hotel has a small disco but poorly attended. Around the hotel is nothing to do... The one should internalize, before you book this hotel. Right you are, if you're looking for peace and quiet.

Nice location on the dream beach of chaves is the Iberostar, the smallest hotel on the beach with about 270 rooms. It is nestled in a oasenartige gardens and a small shopping area inviting to go shopping. The prices are the souvenirs in the average, everything toiletries concerns is however very expensive. So nothing forgotten at home. The big advantage here is, that the last hotel and you have the privilege of a lonely and kilometer-long beach for itself to have.     The rooms were already a bit older but very nicely decorated and in particular very clean. We had 1 times animal visit after the rain, but in this gefilden right is normal. Otherwise every day was a new entity from towel and flower on the bed.

    The food was amazing, we can't understand why some write something negative could. For fish lovers is the paradise and for all other there is also enough choice. There are excellent local dishes as well as mediterranean cuisine and well seasoned. If you don't like everything you can still on pizza, pasta & fries go back, which we never had.

    The hotel is on a hill and so is the beach only over a quite steep road or stairs to reach. But the white dreamy beach and the tükisblaue water compensate will be charged. Boa Vista is an oasis for silence searchers. Who highlife is in the wrong place.

Nice seaside holiday but unfortunately nothing going on but it was not further bad, what wasn't so good was that when it rained everything was flooded and the water in the room from the cover drips, rain takes usually 30 minutes then again nice, in the dining room it rained purely and lots of birds at the buffet what annoys the flies inside everywhere rum, otherwise it was great, the beach and pool were great read hotel review
