In all in all the hotel is acceptable.
About the cleaning and the furnishing of the rooms you would however still work. You can tell, that the hotel already a few years behind it.
Great whereas is the location. In only 2 minutes stands one before the cologne cathedral. Despite everything it is at night calm. read more

This hotel is not recommendable. Here one thinks, with a modern reception area will be granted. The rooms are not acceptable - way too small. The mattresses very uncomfortable, the cleanliness in the room leaves a lot to be desired. In the first room the was assigned to us was a lot of mold on the wall. In the new room was no mold, but smells very. From any drain in the bathroom, you can Köln's sewerage smell. The hotel is actually very cheap (on booking. com) but it is better a few Euro more. read more

We stayed this weekend in Köln due to the christmas market and in this wonderful hotel stayed. The staff were very friendly. The room was large and clean. The restaurant area is also beautiful and comfortable. The bar is a bit small and what disturbed me a little, is the fact that there smoke must. But if we again in Köln are we will book this hotel again! read more

Good value for money, clean, relatively new three star hotel, the practically furnished. Free internet access ( wireless) and very friendly service. The breakfast buffet is great with large varied choice. You can tell, that you made an effort, the hotel nice set up. Due to the central location is the traffic noise sometimes audible, but in a bearable level. But are main station, cathedral and city center comfortably within walking distance (5 minutes). Altogether recommendable, I would stay there again. read more

The zimmerbewertung refers to the so-called ' standard room' of the hotel. The category ' comfort room' we could also realize, this is a four-star hotel fair and is really very recommendable - were it not for the difference in price;-) very modern decor, very lixuriös and spacious!
The standard room whereas loses points by the rather small bathroom and the very narrow entrance in the shower. For persons with rather light sleep is through the adjoining very busy street and the train station to bring earplugs recommendable.
The breakfast which in the price is included, is very varied ... and recommendable. The central location is a big plus-very a lot easy to reach on foot! On the whole is this hotel for this price recommendable. read more

We have with friends a musical and the Cologne lights visited and this beautiful smaller hotel very close the Cologne main train station found. It is a bit secluded from main tourist Routes but nevertheless central and if you with the train arrive also very conveniently located. Our friends were by train since = ideal, we had the car and then in the garage at the DOM parking (18 Euro per day), which also somewhat away (10 to 15 minutes footpath). Loading and unloading but in front of the hotel, although a bit cramped. The breakfast was great, all people ... from the staff were very friendly and skilled. We had a standard -room and a free upgrade ( in spite of the 'Cologne lights') on a comfort -room get. This room I can only recommend!
Gladly we are coming again. read more

The Cristall Hotel offered with a price from 57,00 Euro pro double room with breakfast a very convenient price, more it was but also not worth.! The bathroom was rather a wet room, with an emphasis on cell LAG. The breakfast was simple, internationally oriented and actually reasonable. The highlight was but a small TV from the early days with 30. Screen, the furthermore still was broken. It was a real fun of the staff at the front desk heard, why a repair not yet work. There was altogether seven reasons in four days. One was not unfriendly ..., but just uninterested and overburdened. The beds were acceptable and were *-niveau of the hotel. We book the hotel not again. read more

We wanted extraordinary accommodation for 1 night in Köln and were not disappointed. The room was a dream consisting of indirect lighting, very modern and very harmoniously furnished and had a super comfortable king-size bed with cozy bed sheets. The bathroom left no wishes open, specifically for women wonderful with natural light and the lighted mirror to put on makeup, underfloor heating, and a large walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head. There was nothing at all to criticize or to criticize, we felt so comfortable as never in a hotel felt. We have a loft room, so that we ... even the cathedral from the bed from could see. The breakfast left also nothing to be desired, super rich and in the modern ambience. The location is brilliant, you can on foot easy access to the Duomo or in the old town. We are definitely coming again, if we stay in Köln search. read more

Since we only one night in Köln were, I needed a simple, cheap hotel and find it.
The hotel is very central ( cIRCA 5a 8-minute walk from the train station/ cathedral), which of course was important.
The staff were friendly, the check in went relatively quick and the pretty decor in the lobby was sometimes other.
However I must unfortunately say, that our room ( Triple ) a smoker's room and right to the street lag (even with the window closed it was partly loud ).
If you are a non-smoker, recommend I, the hotel notice to!
But since ... we just for one night remained, I was not given a other room ask about.
The breakfast is simply held. You get different rolls, muesli, sausage, cheese, jams, scrambled egg.
It needs to be something for everyone. And I think, for a three-star hotel you should not expect more.
The food tasted, but in my opinion, the staff would have organized should be. Partly stood people at the buffet and waited a tad too long on new rolls etc.
Also the tables were not immediately freshly set.
But overall the hotel was reasonable. Who for 1a 3 nights in Köln and something reasonably priced and simple searches, is right at home here.
Therefore recommend I continue!-) read more

We were at the 27 May for 1 night in this hotel. The location is for a Köln visit ideal, as you in 5 minutes on foot the cathedral, the train station and various restaurants reach can it features a modern design both in front desk, lobby and the breakfast room as well as in the room, definitely not fuddy-duddy. Because the hotel on a main road is ( entrance in an underpass), it is definitely not silent, but for 1 night it was unbearable. As we have a 3 -bed-room elsewhere had, we could about lack of space not ... complain. The atmosphere is loosely, the staff is friendly and helpful. In the next visit in Köln gladly again read more

We had a 2-day trip booked last minute. A great hotel, the lady at the reception let us have one and a half hour to the room early because it was already done and explained the circumstances of the hotel. The possibilities for outings were all great within walking distance within 10 minutes to reach. There was lots of restaurants, bars and bars nearby. The room what standard for a 3 *hotel, the bathroom a bit small but clean and intended application of furnished. The breakfast in the morning was very good 6 *, there was a wide selection of ... bread, rolls, sausage, cheese, yogurt, muesli, fresh fruit etc., never was a plate/ basket completely empty it was immediately refilled. The waiters were very nice asked immediately what you wanted to drink and, if all to our tastes is. We would the hotel recommend it to anyone and would definitely stay check-in there. An absolutely successful trip! read more

I the hotel can for those on a city break highly recommend. The central location is really good. It causes however, that you while having the windows open streets- or train -noise has. With the window closed it is however very calm and pleasant. Especially gave me the friendliness and attention of the service personnel fallen.
The breakfast was hearty and good.
As the somewhat meager (no table, no picture) facilities I single room little weight.

The hotel is because of its location directly on the main station an ideal starting point for excursions to Cologne nightlife and the surrounding Cities and Regions.
We were for a football game in Leverkusen locally and the access to the train is of course ideal.

The hotel captivates with its proximity and centrality, in the middle of Cologne in the immediate near the train station, the cathedral and the city center. From the outside the hotel makes a truly beautiful impression, also the front desk and the entrance hall looked very nice. All employees are really very friendly and accommodating. Also our request for a second pillows was fulfilled immediately. Breakfast was completely fine- delicious coffee and enough selection. We had a room on the second floor after 'the back' and it was quiet and we even had the window tilting at night.
At the ... second glance the hotel appears to be however quite worn-here in the last few years nothing more was made. Whether in the corridors of the individual floors, as well as also in our room ( unfortunately a smoker's room - for non-smokers really not really nice!) everything seemed quite old and worn it is the small Grundig CRT (screen a bit bigger as a tablet computer ), the mini bar or tiltable nachttisch everything was always a bit tattered-damaged. The in bathroom above the mirror the looked naked Illuminant out without Abblendkappe or other. Here needs in all areas really be modernized times-for the specified rates I think the hotel - and it is still so centrally located-just too expensive. We had however over hrs and A 3 for 2 action-so we had the third night free and this was for me the hotel again OK. I would book the hotel again - but only if such bargain prices -for the regular rates I would definitely not book - unless it would be modernized times inside a little and renovated. I would recommend the hotel - but would the above points-if such a things not disturb then you are here in good hands. read more

We have this hotel for a small city trip for three days booked. We saw the website of the hotel and it found attractive and very centrally located, what was very important to us.
The staff during the check in was only partially friendly. With two large suitcases we had already several hurdle to cross over in the room to arrive. The room was in a separate building. It was not explained exactly where we need to go to our room to find. (the lady would have briefly with can go ).
So well, so with the big suitcase, stairs ... and steps from, door, door, stairs on, stairs from, door, door. So even as a couple not just in the major doors.
In the room arrived very impressed! Everything perfect! Very clean and tidy! So you make a beautiful room before. Missing me personally in the room only the bedside tables. Everything else was amazing! We felt very much at ease.
The big disappointment then actually the next morning. The breakfast was just bad! Seats, modern and nice, but very uncomfortable, the scrambled eggs was not enjoyable. The selection of cold cuts very limited and already dried out (09:30 A. M.). There was fruit, Pineapple, pears and grapes. The bowl with the natural yoghurt was on two mornings empty \u2639. The rolls left very bad parts and grease. In addition they were much too upward. Bad was Usually Warmed up rolls. If you are lucky, you could get a raisins-rolls or an marmalade. But for the number of guests unfortunately much too few.
So for two nights, we have 250 euros and since we already have something else from the breakfast expected.
In short: hotel is good, only for breakfast you should rather go to a café nearby go. read more

We wanted us a few days Cologne and have the hotel because of the really central location selected. However we were just when checking in to the hotel shocked, when we on demand explained, that the whole hotel not a single parking returns. We could be outside Cologne parking and then by bus and train into town drive or a garage take. In four days stay and about 20 euros parking Fees per day really no bargain. Also is right in every lateral road around the hotel a parking meter, it remains a nothing other than to pay. A real ... shortcoming with this hotel. read more
