Very nice hotel, friendly staff, all around very recommendable. Only blemish are the prices ( food, drinks) on european level, so for Indonesia very expensive. read more

After a wonderful night in a wonderful room and the first breakfast directly at the beach with a beautiful view, you know, that you got it right. The hotel is actually located a bit away, but thanks to the always in front of the hotel ready standing taxis is one for little money mobil. The price level in the hotel is quite high, but with the taxi one is fast in Kuta. Here there are a lot of cheap and good restaurants and bars. Conclusion, fantastic gladly anytime again ☺ read more

Very nice hotel complex, even if you not the luxury the bungalows/villas, grants. The beach is for swimming mostly not suitable-too shallow and at low tide not at all ( from lunch you could not more into the Meed ). But there are mutually the coast very nice white beaches - Moped in Kuta rent and explore! The hotel pool is rather which for cooling, clean but very small. If you pool area expected strong disappointed. Strongly that detracts from the overall impression the little friendly and cool staff, as well as the-we are not just poor-rude excessive price for ... everything extra, especially for food. As for the treatment a small burn something yoghurt wanted, we had quasi caviar offered-) the staff is noticeably trimmed, additional money from the guests to get. Supply and to eat there are in Kuta in the meantime enough options. We missed very the friendliness other indonesian hotels ( for example holiday resort in sengiggi). If we go back to Lombok drive, we will stay at or in more simple hotels live, because the best vacation in Indonesia often the Indonesians and their friendliness and close. The Novotel Kuta is despite cleanliness and beauty not more. Nevertheless very limited recommendation from us. read more

Hi there, I am visiting the Novotel Kuta business for a year and a half almost monthly. Because the quality of the 4 star hotel down was continuously since 2010 I write here. But the room renovated February 2011-August 2011 in January 2012 in see many rooms already again ancient from, joint grout crumbles, air conditioning was wrong, mold in the room, tiles in the bathroom were broken. Milk glass wall to the bedroom leaving as a dirty is seldom cleaned (i still have never seen anything like it. I order 2 extra beds because he always children, I call ... schreiftlich and, in one and a half were Jharen the beds when we arrived there had never anytime again and the operator. Four star hotel. The business centre has no printerbefore 3 moin there was a nonzero and 2 computer January was only 1 Lim computers there. The sewage working in many Raumen not. Sometimes the ' crap is' in the toilet (August 2011) sewage 24 hour. You gin as the smells? Despite complaint no other room! Novotel has moved to ' closing Quinity systems. But the system many problems so you often closed the door. read more

    The food was consistently poor for a year and a half, the breakfast buffet will small instead of 15-20 types pastry it was only last visit eighth there was a ' Sasak (village) corner with food from the region-abolished. It is bad prepared Beef burger, terrible soup Buntut (ochs tail type), and the usual toast.

    Really bad people are only good in the 'sorry' say the breakfast buffet you must coffee often get even, after one and a half years the staff not that I learned milk to the coffee need. Mr. Jaya (duty manager) is the best changes in the sorry to say but also nothing. Mr. Townsend was in the GM days I was there either not in the House or single guests rather than cared about that your hotel to take care of it (as far as I could see).

The hotel is definitely only for relaxing... But on the area... Nevertheless can only be recommended, if you need to relax... Long sandy beach... Wonderful view of the sea... Large area... Get lost everything was wonderful... You have even the beach to yourself... Nearby it is nothing... Without the one farther away drives... 5 kilometer away Kuta is... The small town of Kuta with numerous restaurants and bars could be reached in about 20 minutes to reach., but the road is not lit at night and there is no sidewalk. Tip: rent a motorbike, but not in the hotel (many times more expensive), but better in Kuta. Has the advantage, that you can explore the area and great white, almost secluded beaches discover. The employees in the hotel spoke partly no English and everything seemed a bit unprofessional. The match then again, but not to the high-ceilinged rooms-prices or the drinks prices (aboutneun euro for a cocktail. ...) tip: better at night in Kuta what food and drink. Had a Sasak-Villa. Was very nice and spacious, but everything, especially the bathroom, a bit getting old. The hotel area itself is nicely done. Tip: as far as I know the lower superior and deluxe room recently renovated. Due to lack of up-to-date hotel-alternatives locally I would recommend this hotel. read more

We spend 3 days in this wonderful hotel in case lonely and poor south lomboks. The Novotel is located on a beautiful, white sandy beach, about 3 kilometer outside of the small, quiet village Kuta (not to be confused with the famous Kuta on Bali! ). The complex is built from natural materials, but everywhere a lot of attention to detail is recognizable. It consists of a main building with rooms, but partly without a balcony, and luxurious, spacious villas furnished with small private garden. The breakfast is very plentiful and it is something for every taste. At the beach ... a very unobtrusive entertainment offered. Nearby the hotel are more beautiful sandy beaches, the also for surfers are very interesting. To to Kuta or in the area to come, you can in front of the hotel a taxi or rent a motorbike. read more

We stayed in the Novotel August 2011 and had not, but in the context of Bali, Lombok-combination booked (bungalow with overnight accommodation with breakfast). The hotel is not new anymore (opening about 14 years-you will notice the wear occasional) but it is very clean, the staff very friendly, despite Ramadan, it was no problem to get food. Very many French guests were hardly German. The bungalows are spacious, maybe a little dark. It was for four bungalows its own very nice pool. In the afternoon there is often little pastries from the hotel, you can relax with a tea or ... coffee making kettle available (free in the room). Mini bar filled and there is a surcharge, you can use for drinks. Shopping in a small store in the area, but expensive. The breakfast buffet is more than enough, there were always fresh crêpes and similar prepared. If you rent a scooter, you can eat very well in Kuta (for example Dwiky on the Western edge of town on the left hand side of the road) or take the necessary things up. The food in the hotel restaurant was expensive (a court about 15-20 €per person). At the bar is the happy hour between 17 and 19 o'clock recommended. The day is very forward, because the 18 o 'clock August under the sun and 19 o' clock it is total dark. On the streets outside there was no lighting (flashlight advisable), it is therefore advisable their day at seven to start, no stress at the breakfast and you get a beach chair. The beach is very clean, unfortunately again and again beach vendors/children, which can be very annoying-the best, then let. If you want to buy with 20-30% of the price at the start bargain (T-shirts partly very good!). At low tide you can bathe not, but you can take beach shoes or similar shallow water by far go out and watch fish and seafood. By the huge tide-flood difference you can dream bathing and swimming at high tide. The tide is shifting from every day. Towels are provided, unfortunately, here too, the UN Convention of morning towel reservation practiced (you have to go through, if you wanted to get a lounge chair). You can very well in the hotel a scooter and explore the surrounding area at your own pace. (Aan beach two further east! highly recommendable bays). If you only want to swim should go to the Aan-Beach (about 5 kilometer in the East, snow white sand and almost no other Gäste!). Worth seeing sunsets on the beach. All in all a very nice hotel, we will definitely be back! read more

The welcome was nice, the check in uncomplicated. Overall very quiet and extensive with a few pools, a spa, 2 restaurants, one with a stage and an open-air bar, where you nice the sunset to itself take can. The breakfast and allanbendliche buffet was the absolute best! The selection of dishes, the quality, the atmosphere has been unsurpassed. I don't know more exactly, what the cost, but absolutely inexpensive. We have never ate elsewhere. The high-rise complex where the rooms are was already in the days, the hallways pretty uninspiring and dark, the rooms also too dark. We didn't mind ..., as we didn't take long in the room were. Every day a little which offered ( gartenrundgang, trip to the market, yoga, etc.). But you can not really as ausfüllendes entertainment label. One day we were with the kayak in the lagoon on the way, a day for diving (nothing special, if you are going to the great barrier reef or Karibik was). The hotel is relatively off the beaten path, there is in the immediate vicinity absolutely nothing. We enjoyed the somewhat disturbed, since we without a car (all vehicles in Lombok without car seats.) There almost 'got stuck'. The beach is very nice and lounging ok, but for swimming not really suitable, since low tide to extremely, and a lot of stones, corals etc. We were with our 2 year old there, but the we didn't make use of the child care. read more

Five years ago were already once in this hotel. At that time it was really the paradise. Also here unfortunately has turned the screw of time. Become the prices are outrageously high. The Novotel Lombok is almost 90 % alleged use a 4 star resort. It is situated on its own in southern Lombok. Except for a few other, smaller hotels are from the planned Hotelkolossen in the whole area to Kuta there is no single further built. This is supposed to be located in the next two years well change. From the airport you need at least 60 rather 90-120 minutes, depending on traffic and Baustellenlage. The hotel is in an ideal location for those who are looking for a relaxing stay and didn't have any big cultural activities planned, as ... always with wide stuck for Indonesian standards and is connected to high cost. ( Ausflugskosten to fixed excursions are of course, in such a hotel, always quite high) There are noisy Hotelangabe four pools, although only a pool was to be described as maximum 1,50 m deep, but is. The others are kid's pool or beach chair-pools ( jacuzzis) two restaurants, of which only one was in use. Everything else was served only one day of Indonesian tour group for 2 day/1night at the hotel and the restaurant was open blocked. The buffet breakfast is adequate and varied. The staff in the restaurant, though is how often in Indonesia, rather shy opposite guests, the totally inappropriate dressed, ( oberkörperfrei, sweaty etc. 9 appear in the restaurant and it only after our request to mention this talk with you. All/ activities like volleyball, Strandspaziergange, etc. Found during our one week stay. The beach is sparkling white, but do NOT want to give the pictures on, südtsee-sugar-fine! At low tide is not suitable to swim and there are basically much seaweed there, from the the locals collector but living. The bathing fun but very dark. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The room service is up to 4 star standard! Free bottled water in the hallway to refill The prices for both the rooms as well as for the restaurant are for Indonesian standards salted! If a hotel or the hotel restaurant on the 4 star, but the soft drinks at least not than can be served! However if you want luxury and relaxation and the budget skåne is the Novotel the right choice. read more

Only recommended!!! We were very pleased, the prices in the hotel are extremely high, all drinks and fresh juices. Cocktails about 6 Euro. Food was very good and varied. We only had Frühschtück. Motorcycle-3 km to borrow and 2 meal ( Cafe7, Magic) - very good!!! Surprisingly cheap!!! Along the road ( Kuta) many Warungen little dingy but food was fine and good value for money. Property was beautiful. If someone higher expectations (as I), then I would recommend this hotel. Sea was clean and also suitable for swimming. read more

Great hotel, very quiet location. Again definitely worth it while it a gem with little tourism and great deserted beaches. Bicycle hire rather too expensive. Buffet food rather too expensive. read more

Our honeymoon, an unforgettable, tip: Ice Tea at the great bar. Kerzenscheinschwimmen in the private pool. The food was great. The sand is a bit grainy, although all around the hotel naturstrände fine sand. outstanding for surfing, but not in the hotel's bay, but next to it. Vielle buffalo. The taxi service of the hotel is too expensive. In front of the house there are other driver for 1/2Preis the Strcke and a bit unterhaltungsfreundlicher. Thank you very much. read more

The first impression was: Whow Very attractive, something different. The beach and bar area - very original. This absolute peace and quiet in the following the hotel, then we come back to Bali, melancholy reminded. If you were looking for peace, without traveling teenage sons and myself, is in the right place here. We wanted to peace, but after so 3 - four days you hibbelig but at least we. At all beauty - it is just too repetitive. However this is a totally subjective saying that we had enjoyed, but we were very glad to move on after 6 ... days. However, this peace soon be gone, the new Airport will be ready in two years, a consortium of Abu Dhabi plans to build from about 20 hotels in the area Kuta, new roads are partially ready They are in these idyllic surroundings Balinese standards, sad. read more

As in previous reviews this hotel is off the beaten path. We spent two weeks at the hotel and was refreshed and felt good. The food at the hotel is wonderful, but outside of the area not recommended. The grounds are or more rooms are already a bit older, but the bungalows are a dream. Enough chairs and umbrellas on the beach are always available. The staff is very friendly and small complaints were immediately taken care of. You can generally definitely recommend this hotel, for change in the evening, ample relaxation. All credit cards are accepted and it was ... for the best, since the prices in the hotel are salted. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is definitely the place! read more
