The hotel is very manageable, rather familiar ☺ no bunker! Really great. The whole complex is very neat! We had booked all inclusive. Wireless internet was free in the lobby. The guests mostly came from Russia, but also french, german and english were there. The average age mixed. But i would say, the more mature than young guests were. read more

    The rooms wwaren very nice and decorated up to date. Also great beds! Room with a flat screen and a balcony. Had a room with direct sea view, although we did not booked time. ☺ view was wonderful. Daily we got 2 bottles of water into the room provided.

    In the hotel there was a fish restaurant, a arabic restaurant and the buffet. The food was excellent! Every day was under another motto. It was also always enough there, as soon as something ran out was yours. In the restaurant was always just everything cleaned, as soon as something around lay. We gave the waiters no tip given, this made the service not detract from our stay. Really great.

    The friendliness of the entire staff is hard to beat. Such nice, courteous and helpful staff as here, you will find really rarely. With english one could inform oneself well. A girl named Jasmin at the front desk speaks perfect german! The rooms were cleaned daily, in addition there was daily fresh towels.

    From 10 o'clock in the morning there was entertainment until noon and then again from 15 o'clock. There were beach volleyball, Boccia, morning exercises, water aerobics, dancing lessons, arabic course, Bauchtanz, and so on. Offered. From 21 o'clock was show time in the amphitheater, varied shows. From 23 o'clock then the disco opened. Chairs at the beach and at the pool were really great, comfortable! The beach was very clean and neat. Great for snorkelling.

    The beach was right on the hotel. There was also an in-house reef, where we a few times while snorkeling were. The airport is about 10 minutes. A few times daily a bus to Hurghada to the shopping time.

Condition and cleanliness of the hotel-since there are from us nothing to moan about. Room for 2 adults + one child large enough, bathroom a bit small, but sufficient. Room cleaning was great. I was however the balcony too small, with 3 people stop was actually not at all. In addition no possibility the towels and let the swimming things dry there. Children's entertainment was great, if the children want, you can from 10 to 16 o'clock the mini club are, and they also go together lunch. Our small is located, although the entertainer could not speak german, felt good. ... The pool area is very nice designed, the children's swimming pool for children so from 2 top, for smaller a bit deep. Pool was in my opinion heated. The beach is fantastic, always 3 beach chairs and 1 umbrella and windbreak. Beach bar and clean strandtouilette. While we were there, there were very few germans in the hotel, mainly russian tourists, mainly also families. Wlan was in the lobby free of charge, partially in the evening but very slow, if too many the wifi use, on the day it was mostly better. On the complex are a few shops, but around is nothing, for shopping, you had to go to Hurghada drive. Unfortunately knew the taxi driver not the name Mercure, since we really had a 'small problem'. Always Sofitel say, as it was called until about 1 year. German tv channels RTL, RTL II, ARD and ZDF, worked also always. The safe in the room was free. read more

Competent team, the very friendly and helpful constantly around the vacationer effort, made us a nice beach vacation. Since we gladly snorkeling, we needed the pool not at all. The drive to Hurghada is worthwhile with the shuttle bus- buses and also with the taxi, we had in any case a feeling the safety and the mentality of the egyptians outside the Mercure - facilities you have replaced by the following endure. A haircut for men is downtown in the bazar street absolutely recommendable (6€) read more

We have as a guest very pleasant accepted comfortable. Everything ok and all of the staff friendly, without being pushy. The boat for snorkelling you can save, as directly at the pier snorkeling can be. There, there are also lots of fish. Recommend however private schnorchelgerät to bring with. We will do our next 'wintering' again by jasmine and mr aladin and his team spend. Ps: had to with the great, rich, varied, locally-facing food, strongly back and have managed, not to take! We were the hotel, the complete atmosphere in the hotel, the location and the beach, the entire service, the friendliness of the staff etc. Really amazed. Because the hotel a straightforward size and therefore an easy going atmosphere radiates, we felt really good. Who definitely not massive commotion would like to have, but a bit relaxation want and nevertheless sports and culture to missen would not like, is in the right place here. A great hotel for a relaxing beach vacation-and this is what we wanted -in the sun beach chairs, baden, us let yourself be pampered-. Very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Staff friendly and really made an effort, there one nevertheless gladly tip. Room and bathroom not new and not overly large but super clean and the daily cleaning perfect. Also the beach was cleaned daily and the loungers were super comfortable. Also about the food there was nothing to complain about, there were always exciting delicious things %blank%. All together we have a great relaxing week of vacation spent, good, that ... we come again next year. That was our 5. vacation in Egypt and this hotel was very forward for everyone! read more

We are already the 2. time in this hotel. Not without reason. Clean it is not once in Germany. We are only to this hotel! Some guests come already 13 years! The layout is 8 years. Especially is hardly any turnover in this hotel! A very good character! You will be welcomed in a family! Super! read more

Value for money in january good! Hotel was only 60% occupied. Except for soak up the sun or akzeptaben about 22 °c water temperature swim, this is not much more that could be done! (beautiful sandy beach). Snorkeling without nearby reef little sense, only a couple rocks, hard corals. Staff very friendly and helpful. Picky you should not the cleaning of the rooms his! Food and drinks varied and quite good! Mix of guests: circa 50% russians, rest german, french, amongst others Kleidungsordnung at the dinner, for the most part. Quite poor. Apart from that but no noticeable! Partly noise ... from the planes-impairment by nearby airfield Hurghada. read more

We have in our Nile-cruise a week spent in the hotel and have ourselves all around probably-and felt very much at ease. All of the staff are friendly and professional, the but not pushy. We can definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely go back a vacation stay there. read more

We have, for the first time a vacation in Egypt and were not disappointed. The hotel is ok size well arranged and has therefore not the feeling from mass processing, as the elsewhere already often seen. A rather informal atmosphere was from beginning to end at the end noticeable. At our travel time was the hotel to about 50% occupied, of which initially 80% russians, the rest german, swiss and austrian guests of all ages. Against at the end of january were then many germans guests present. Especially we liked the cleanliness the whole area, especially on the grünflächenpflege was ... much importance is attached here. read more

    The size our room was more than adequate and daily perfect cleaned. Towel change took place every day. Our balcony door was slightly stuck and crashed at the opening and closing and in spite of the efforts of the cleaning staff would leave their mops was the problem not to fix it. There was a tv, although about 4 german programs had, which we however 6 days during the 3 weeks no front desk had. The was very annoying, because with news if you want to also in the most beautiful time of the year be cared for. One strove, the damage, which was throughout the hotel was offered, but it was only a matter of time, until the reception again bother us was. Daily with water from sealed bottles supplied, who all inclusive ultra nachbucht, get a extraauffüllung the minibar. Very positive point is, that at regular intervals, so about all 3 days, the toilet disinfected.

    There was a main restaurant, an oriental-, and a fish restaurant, a pool bar, all-inclusive and ultrabar. The latter but you could only use, if you get a upgrade to all-inclusive ultra booked. The cost amounted to 10 € per day and we have ourselves retreat, as the quality the snacks and drinks simply higherquality was. Also the atmosphere was much more pleasant than in the all-inclusive bar. Ahmed, the bartender, dominated his handicraft perfect and leaflet the tastiest things. The dishes in the restaurant were in buffet form and you could always find something. However for breakfast was the offer very limited, only one type of sausage, the cheese something sticky, eggs in many variations. Fresh fruits was constantly to have. One became well full and what for breakfast was missing, was during dinner then balanced. For lovers of sweet it was the pure paradise. The tables were always properly and fast cleared, some waiters was also a bit premature, but we found a little bit disturbing, especially in the morning. And also the floor was constantly attention from siftings exempt.

    With our arrival we had a queasy feeling, since our english rather poor and we problems at the check-in feared. Our concern was in vain, as it turned a german speaking hotel employee with us before, which are a huge help was. 'jasmine' turned out to be good of the hotel, they answered any questions and worried, where they could. With the other staff ran the communication to the part. With hands and feet, but always everyone was very friendly and willing to help. They made all efforts all the guests, without pushy to appear. And the guest with a smile from the friendliness much return.

    7 days in the week the entertainers the guests talk, if you don't want to join in, was in peace left. Since we were mostly at the beach were, we didn't use these offers. Every evening there was entertainment and if you then still wanted to do something, it went in the to the hotel owned disco.     Especially cheap is the shuttle from the airport to the hotel, in about 15 minutes you were already on the objective, that a little bit out of town from Hurghada is. Great hotel with a beautiful and very well maintained outdoor area. Rooms are very clean and also the bathroom, the shower is however somewhat tight but also very clean. The hotel offers much for sportsmen and the adventurous. The garden will was fantastically well maintained, in the room it becomes neglected. The food in buffet form is not super and for jedenwas for everyone. The location at the beach and the sun loungers are absolutely great. The staff is always nice and friendly and helped wherever they could. In the hotel are different guests from young to old. A few russian, however, just the same a lot of french people and finns and germans (probably due to the fact that we for christmas flying) The entertainment team is top: ... are super funny animate nice and great atmosphere, if you didn't want to have the you also inruhe. read more

    The size of the room and the balcony was huge also the interior was alright all little dated but okay the cleanliness was unfortunately not but it was a lot of effort.

    Restaurants and bars were plentifully there. The quality of the food and drinks was absolutely okay. The days were always after ' themes' dialed. Arabic, chicken, fish and so on if one something not like, there was always noodles with sauce. The hotel has very economically work even if this some people not fit, we found it impressive as the ' leftovers' lunch or in the evening recycled was, it was always delicious and enough for everyone. At christmas there was a 5-course menu... Since we didn't like fish we could this does not have to try and then the buffet eaten but the room and the food so wonderfully prepared and served. Really good!

    The friendliness of the staff is absolutely great, even without giving any tip, the staff i would like no tip the want a nice smile from you and the you as respektierst as du respektierst are something. Russian can the staff as well as french. If you english can this is enough. On arrival was our room still not cleaned hair rum dirty toilet, after multiple complaints at the front desk it was then but also adjusted from then on was always ask for, whether the room so is okay and they endeavor this to keep them clean.

    At leisure offers there in this hotel really not lacking. Of squash / Tennis/ table tennis/ beach volleyball/ soccer/ horse riding/windsurfing what your heart desires there was simply everything. Also a really good gym, and free sauna use. The entertainment team was great... Nice games and a great program. The evening entertainment was always something new and really nice to look at. For christmas have a huge cocktail bar bumped and flus game re-narrated and played.

    The distance from the beach is super. 3 minutes walk. Airport is just round the corner 10 minutes bus ride. The aircraft noise is not to hear. We live in two sizes airports and are the 'noise' so used. If you from the country could however be disturbing. To the hotel is really nothing. Hurghada itself is 15 minutes away except shopping possibilities are there but nothing.

We were usnseren honeymoon in Mercure Hurghada and very satisfied. The whole day we were at the beach and only our child in our experience at the pool brought to 2,5 years right had, for smaller children however was too deep. The room with a balcony was for us 3 more than adequate, especially since we our bed with our child have to share. There was 3 german tv-channel, which was a bit small, but we weren't there to watch tv. The food was delicious, even if it definitely not our standard selection. It was always nicely arranged and ... there was always a free clean table. read more

After a strenuous Nile-cruise a very relaxing weekend in this hotel. Wonderful facilities, fantastic beach with small nearby reef. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very quiet and spacious, furnished nicely. Nice evening agenda of the entertainment group velvet hotel manager. Food is definitely not our kitchen, since very little seasoned and everything quickly repeats. Nevertheless i would recommend this hotel. read more

Right at the beginning : i can't understand, as you this hotel with 'is its 4 stars not worth' rating. Something can probably only people write, the greedy are, to 1200 Euro for a 5 star hotel to afford. Our first time in Egypt - we were in the Mercure Hurghada completely contented. No hotel bunker, but nice, well arranged area several low-rise buildings. 60% russians, 30% germans, the rest Sweden, finns, french, british and egyptians. read more

    Buffet great, particularly the egyptian and the bar-b-que. Tip: always by the local food in the painted clay pots taste, they are very tasty. The fish restaurant was also great, from the oriental we were a little disappointed. Unfortunately were at the beach bar no hot drinks. In order to get a coffee, you had to up to the pool bar. And wine was everywhere only to lunch and dinner. We then after 5 days on ultra universe inclusive upgraded, because you in the bar for better cocktails and for the whole day fruit got.

    Directly on its own beach. Only 10-15 minutes transfer to the airport. Unfortunately no possibility, at the beach walk along to go, because fenced (the is however in the egyptian resorts everywhere; from the Turkey we are used to different things).
