We were on a short break for christmas 2012 with our two children.
Food and drinks were good. Otherwise you feel at this time not really welcome. As guests with half board you sit in a separate room and can only shortly before the food between two courts differ. You had the feeling, that we only in a forced manner were served, because we there for christmas were. The food and atmosphere would have been nice, but there was just no cosy and warm atmosphere.
De manager, or the manager family managed only rarely, to be friendly.

We made a short break in the bavarian forest and the tavern corner is nearby Bodenmais.
The rooms are sufficient and with a balcony,
The food is amazing we booked half board and for dinner there was a four-course -menu.
Appetizer a great salad, followed by a noodle soup for main course sauerbraten and ochsenbraten
With potato dumplings (itself) with red cabbage, to the dessert a ice cream sundae with 4 balls and cream.
It is very recommendable and we are definitely coming again as the staff very friendly and helpful is.

We spent with wonderful weather three days in the brewery restaurant. We had booked the blockhouse, later still half board with 4-course menu. The food was good and very plentiful. However, the kitchen not very flexible. When we instead of the most acclaimed dessert cut-up and sugared pancakes with raisins as a small portion cost wanted, it was rejected smooth. We were also serves once the court in accordance with menu associated salad as hors-d'oeuvre of 4-course menus. As well as three days in a row shows broth do not necessarily have much imagination of the cook. Somehow we always ... had to wait much longer than those who ordered from the menu, we felt our booked meal as second class guests, as a bunch. This was of course not in advance aware. The fit and didn't actually get to the positive picture of the inn and we were frustrated. Why can we not menus from the card itself together? The other but better! Otherwise everything was fine, clean rooms, a great beer garden, a lovely view, nice, very attentive staff, wide Breakfast, and of course a great beer. We will gladly stay here again, if one until then the kitchen was taught a little more customer orientation. read more
