For the 2. time spent i mean skiing vacation the walliserhof in Zermatt. Already from the outside captivates the hotel with the beautiful a chalet-style. Very centrally located the bahnhofstrasse, the main stations grnergratbahn, train station, cinema and supermarkets are car-free Zermatt just a few steps away. Modern with elevator you can reach the rooms, the warm with a lot of wood and modern flat -tv are aligned. Wifi is in the entire place free available and a computer is in the lobby free of charge ready. In the morning you from the excellent and varied breakfast buffet worn out. ... Of fruit, rolls, swiss -birchler muesli and cheese is everything available and is a good start to the day. Evenings there is a possibility jacuzzi to relax and the sauna/ steam room to use. Finally can be said, a great thing about the hotel is friendliness and cleanliness, here the guest is still really king. I am looking forward to my next stay. read more

I am otherwise not one, the reviews part adopted. The hospitality and everything, was in the hotel Walliserhof so great, that I for once not different and participate must. The boss is very nice and everything but noble. Briefly: the Zermatt-trip was great! read more

We had a beautiful large and cozy room with a large balcony ( and balcony ). The bathroom was a dream (large, modern Tiled, of high quality facilities ). The offer at the breakfast buffet was very varied and tasty! We felt very good. read more

The walliserhof has a manageable size with two restaurants. One for cheese specialties and a grill restaurant. there is rooms breakfast or half board to be booked. read more

    We have different room categories and thought very spacious. Actually we had a double room booked, but were upgraded without asking an upgrade to a junior suite. the room was very clean and comfortably furnished.

    we had one evening a Walliserteller to appetizer, a cheese fondue with tomatoes as a main entrance and dessert a sorbet. on the second evening we enjoyed a 5-coursemenu surprise. all meals were excellent. The suggested wine was excellent and affordable. A visit to this restaurants also worth it, if you are not a guest of the hotel is.

    the hotel is centrally located in Zermatt'main street', which are only of standard with electric vehicles can be busy. Shops and trains are accordingly easy to reach. the Matterhorn is just rooms on the top floor visible.

The walliserhof is a very recommendable hotel in typical Valais architectural style. Homey, but with modern comfort. A hotel, in which the guest immediately comfortable. The hotel is run by likeable couple Caroline O. & Sylvain p. O. the hotel has 34 rooms, various categories. A comfortable lounge, two restaurants and a restaurant in guests with half board and with breakfast. read more

    our room number 34 is beautifully equipped, with a small Seating area and a small balcony. The beds are comfortable and of good quality for a relaxing Sleep. Also a flat screen TV and minibar didn't was missing. Especially pleasant we found that commodious bathroom with separate tub and shower.

    The hotel offers in the restaurant Grill a fine kitchen, which after my evaluation of Gault & Millau with dots should be rewarded( in case still not done). The menu surprise was not only culinary a surprise, but also pricewise very pleasant. in stübli are predominantly cheeses and rustikalere dishes. The stübli is recommendable nonetheless.

    The service was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The guest can feel the pleasant atmosphere in the hotel and feels, as already mentioned, very well cared for.

    The hotel is located on the bahnhofstrasse in the center zermatt only few minutes on foot from the train station way. In spite of the central location it was in our room very quiet. Lots of shops are in the immediate area. For skiers and other Schneesportler offers Zermatt a shuttle bus to the funicular railways. Although Zermatt car-free is, there is a lot of traffic on the streets due to the many electric vehicles.

We ate twice in the restaurant and absolutely walliserhof recommend! The restaurant is divided into two rooms -a quaint-comfortable Marquesas Islands time cheese dishes such as fondue, etc. The other, elegant without'cheese-taste '. The young, innovative chef will do its best and there is a large Master, in boarding school. Kitchen worked. His fiancée Ogi is director of Mrs hotel, built in the typical wall in the middle of Zermatt and style palliser welcomes guests with warm heart other destinations charm. read more
