Cheap hotel/hostel, central location, simple practical facilities, small bathroom, on the first glance clean, at closer inspection light flaws, faster service, simple sufficient breakfast, unfortunately no eggs for breakfast, price with about 6 €, but top. Underground car park for 12€ available, parking lot in front of the hotel scarce but free of charge. read more

Although we had already had from another hotel nearby more than positive were surprised, we left from the favorable price persuade this hotel to try out. Unfortunately, we were already after the check-in very harsh disappointed. The hotel woke rather the charm of a hostel which also in our room reflected. Instead of a double room we got a 6-bett-zimmer. No one knew, whether at night still other guests in this room get lost should. This surprise it came luckily not.
The spacious room was unfortunately very sporadically furnished. It worked through the red paint more like a sleazy and ... cleanliness was sadly no lane. The shower stall was moldy. The hardwood floors were totally worn out and not swept. In the wash basin were still hair from the previous guests and on the small tv was a thick dust layer. read more

Centrally located hotel in a quiet side street. Unfortunately it came to disturbances of the peace by guests.
Breakfast is ok. It would be useful, the tables after the breakfast wiped, so that subsequent guests a clean dining seat find. In the bathroom gave me a hair dryer missing! read more

We stayed for two nights at the meininger hotel Grand Hotel Glyfada. And were surprised at how clean the room was. We were in room 606 in the 6th floor. Which is good. As you get a good view of Hamburg has.
The bathroom was top, everything was clean and well equipped. The bed was good, only slides the mattresses on the bed frame back and forth. As there is no just had.
There are often classes the meininger hotel Grand Hotel Glyfada quartered. On one evening it was at 4 bit noisy. However my tip direct room in the ... 6. stick ask. read more

The hotel is at best a better youth hostel - noisy, not very clean with bad odor. As this house three stars could receive, is a mystery to us. Normally it should also only hostel call.
The only positive this house is the location nearby the altonaer train station.
Because of the high number of young people guests it was every evening in the courses and also in front of the hotel very noisy. The doors beaten, in the courses run, crying, shouted. At night was in front of the hotel 'the bar los' - drunk young people, who were ... apparently not to the house were left, shouted around, zerschlugen bottles.
The state of the room left much to be desired. In the hallway smelled pitiful after fußschweiß, it already the stomach someone. The flooring in the hallway was full of stains ( you want not at all know, what for which).
The hotel has a underground parking garage. The sites are very tight (rather of bygone days). The suggestion of cars a night costs 12,50 Euro ( a very happiger price). From the parking garage is only a lift top ( in the remaining also the only in the entire place), the very slow and therefore constantly occupied). Apart from that one arrives only over the ascent and the road to the hotel. read more

We had a 4. room, a double and a bunk bed. Room was clean and functional, bed sheets and Frottéwäsche was available. For the price there is no luxury, but a good value. For breakfast could the coffee be better and the fruit juice less watery, but it was but otherwise also good with bread, cheese, sausage, muesli and yoghurt. And also the underground car park was good for us, and the hotel lies very close to the train station Altona; Verlad Motorail... read more

It was very good overall. We are, however, with a group of about 90 people arrived. From 0 o'clock was' security ' staff on the doorstep, and entered also gladly times to control the rooms.
In addition we had a room with 8 persons, which is not further bad, if it more than just a tiny bathroom would have been, as we had too few t-paper. And only 1 times a new role at the front desk received. read more

The hostel is mainly younger people use it, there are probably also more often school groups there. During our travels it was however either almost empty or we had only quiet roommates. Sörungen by other guests were not noticed. The size of the room is completely sufficient, the condition is good. Breakfast costs extra, by us but we didn't make use of it.
The hotel has a own garage, the price is with €12,50 per day not cheap, however therefor stands the car sure.
For a city break, when one is not much in the hotel is, perfect. read more

We were 5 gals and a city in Hamburg. Hotel is located about 4 minutes walk distant from the train station. So the location is great. We checked in around 23:00. Check in fast for small group. Had then finding a room where we only 5 gals it inhabited. The size of the room was great, had all the room, although we lived from the suitcase the 2 days ☺. Room was OK but the furniture the cleanliness went Sunday the ground was a bit disgusting but otherwise was the room really okay. So for 2 days perfectly adequate. ... For this price should you actually nothing other expect. Had breakfast in addition booked, the buffet was really okay for this price. There was even eggs and vegetables.
front desk was also always friendly. Other Than. We had the Sunday a late check out booked(5 €per person) where we until 13:00 in the room stay could. So we went around 7 to the market and then again to the hotel to get 2 hours sleep after a long night of partying ☺. Then attempted from about 9a 11 to sleep but not quite work wanted. Firstly knocked a staff so great on the door that we almost the bed fell. A friend is then to door, because it did not stop. It was with a rude tone said we should out quite long. We have said we have a late night check-out booked. He said OK. After 15 minutes when we wanted to sleep in the telephone rang out is because of the now. I gave her explained we have a late check out and now please in peace. Apparently had the front desk is in the evening remember it is that we must have a late check-out. Well can happen but just a Tam Tam. When checking out we have the again and it was called only: well, I hope that's true. Hello? Why should we all invent?
that annoyed me a bit. But I must place to crash otherwise is the value for money fully okay.
so what: the Hamburg card is great great, you drove free of charge with all trains and buses. read more
