Small, well well-kept complex. Angela ( landlady, front desk and maids in a person ) is very nice and helpful. The communication in English worked well. The room was clean. The kitchen was rather functional, the pasta cooking, eggs fry, salad make etc. Adequate. The bathroom was small, but otherwise in good condition. A plus point was the big balcony, at the same time as dining room and a great view about the bays of Paleokastritsa offered. That the air conditioning paying extra was, we found fair. We have in spite of the high-summer temperatures not needed and at night ... with open door sleep. Against the mosquito menace in the supermarket various possibilities to help buy, for example a duftstecker for the socket ( circa 5 Euro with 20 duftpads ).
The pool the apartment complex korina must be used. One may not brought food and drinks consume. The prices are however reasonable, for a L flat water 1 Euro, ice around the 2 Euro, pizza around the 5 Euro. Because it in Paleokastritsa many apartment complexes and only 3 hotels returns, are many pools public. The pool with of the most beautiful views in the area is the golden Fox in lakones (if you like we didn't car has, on foot about minutes reachable).
The shops in the city itself are limited, the supermarkets differ very reasonable, you should therefore explore, the cheapest market is. The prices are significantly higher as in Germany, 500 g quark costs for example 2,60 Euro. Fruit and vegetables are however cheap, as well as water.
In Paleokastritsa there are several small beaches. The sandy beach ampelaki around midday full, because there is a massive coach parking space is, where groups a our corsair, confire. So we were mostly on the gravel/ sandy beach agia triada.
If you don't car would like to rent, you can by bus to Kerkyra go. It takes about 40 minutes and costs 2,30 Euro per ride. The buses are air-conditioned and quite punctual. read more

we had an apartment with a balcony on the first floor.
the balcony is unfortunately open to the neighbors. So there are no walls between them.
the balcony door you could imprint even though they actually was closed. On the balcony there were a small table and two chairs. From the balcony one has a great view of the sea.
kitchen: Oven, 2 electric rings, kettle, a pan, a little cutlery, plates, a few glasses, fridge available. (Dishtowels, detergent, cloth. Not available )
bath: washbasin, toilet and shower.
with the bath we had a few problems. Very strange we found ..., that the toilet paper on the island in garbage bins be disposed of. One may the toilet paper not in the toilet throw. At the streets stand everywhere Container where you got your garbage daily pitchfork can. After showering was unfortunately every time the whole bath wet. The sewage was apparently clogged, the water couldn't really work.
Angela and their 'cleaning' have attempted the problem to fix it. Without success, unfortunately.
the beds were OK but quite noisy creaked with every movement. The air conditioning you can only to queue if the balcony door and door to are. Therefore we didn't air conditioning additionally booked. We have the whole 15 minutes undone. As soon as one a door opened, has the complex turned off and it took some time to the complex then again ran.
A TV is also in the room available, we have 3-4 German Channels.
in the morning it was nearly impossible on the balcony for breakfast, for wasps. read more

Fantastic sea view, when taking a shower, the whole bathroom wet, July was a wall in the middle (noise) built, may be carried further built... the house Troubles: there is no safety device on Windows and doors. read more

pure as "Doss House" for the start of the island heavily used apartment. Clean, quiet (unless you qualifying neighbors, nicely furnished. Not recommended without a rental car. They spoke on the whole island good English, German was not. Many residents of the United Kingdom, but that is not a problem, unless you in in the ghettos. the north or south. The menus are definitely but English - actually sad. Mosquitos are numerous and annoying, so always the windows and doors allow the mind then the time, but not the place to stay. In or around it absolutely nothing going on ..., so you need to always the two minutes drive into town - extremely steep and narrow street. Sounds worse than it was. Disturbing for us was that it wasn't even a German TV program. Sometimes you would still five minutes before falling asleep look All in all a successful holiday with good accomodation. We definitely recommend unless you think of the rental car. read more

Hotel location was quiet (local and gets away from the Schlagerpartie and karaoke competitions in the larger hotels) and especially with fantastic views of the bay, property is well maintained, clean, lots of bad Stinging mosquitoes despite travel time September, when we were there only German speaking guests, certainly less suitable for families with children, read more

Food not been reviewed is also not necessary as not booked we find Tawernen respectively as many shopping possibilities in the area available are, and the rooms had a fridge fruit the pure was's who hasn't want a slope 28 at 40 degrees for food to sum it up: -) the grounds are less for families with small children thought as already mentioned location is situated on a hill and there are no facilities for the small that goes for persons with disability as there are many stairs or similar. We were within driving untertsatz a tip a scooter or ... car in jadenfall recommended. What the cleanliness of the rooms well stayed one week bedlinen towels once, therefore otherwise made the complex a neat impression. Owners very friendly and helpful. The studio Angela has about 15 apartment spread over two floors each with its small balcony or terrace. The grounds are clean, terraced with stone counters and some greenery. There are tables and beach chairs set up, but almost no one is actually using them, as it is right in the attention of the apartments are and guests in your private area. There are no rooms for common use. The entrance from the street to the rear of the building is very steep. The hotel is located exactly - 450 meters (5 minute walk) from the Canadian who had his away ( more four minutes walk to the nearest beach) above palaiokastritsa. There are only small studios are available, equipped with balcony or small terrace. The hotel is a landscaped terrace upstream multi-level, equipped with tables, chairs and sun loungers. 300 meters away is a small pool, to another resort, can be used. The facility is quite new and for Greek standards very clean, tidy and well furnished (TV-only gr. channels, air conditioning, kitchenette with fridge, small, quiet but well designed shower). The ... view from the balcony or terrace - south on the bays of Palaiok. - is superb; here you could relax with a glass of wine or without easily bear, namely each morning. We were within driving car or other vehicle - can be hired locally - is highly recommended, your surroundings: to explore. Public. Buses faheren after kerkyra. read more
