Small, well arranged hotel. Ideal for New York visitors, as only few minutes on foot from the timesquare and Rockefeller Center location. You can therefore very much on foot make. For prior without taxi suitable, since airport bus-stop (Newark) also about minutes away is. The breakfast is for american standards rather good. There is not only bagels, but also scheibenbrot and croissants, fruit or yogurt, otherwise the usual. Restaurants of all kinds, where you can have your breakfast, are available on the same street one block further east to find. read more

Simply, a bit noisy. However for a city break very suitable. All within walking distance. Not suitable for children. Small modest hotel. Breakfast plain and simple (coffee, toast), but 0k. Would definitely again stay there. As it is relatively cheap opposite other is. Have stayed there in a ** ** ** house stayed in. However only for sleeping too expensive, since one anyway the whole day on the way is. In short, plain and simple, but definitely again. read more

The hotel is very good for a city trip. The rooms are not too small for NY standards. The bathroom is also quite large. It is however quite noisy on the street - window open is not and the air conditioning is quite loud. The hotel is perfect for this nice central and personally. There is several restaurants around the corner, the however not so long open. Enjoyed the equipment in the rooms pleased. read more

Altogether you can the hotel 'good' rating. The first impression was very positive: pleasant staff and relatively large and clean room with beautiful bathroom. We quite felt at ease... ... Before we in the morning a thick fats living cockroach in the bathroom sitting had! Apparently the animals from the ventilation shaft crawled. We were afterwards glad, that we only had one night had booked. read more

Hotel is recommendable, the location is great, in the middle of Manhattan and nevertheless calm. 5 minutes on foot the Timesquare, restaurants right in the same street without end available. Clean and furnished nicely, the size of the room was OK, for NY good. Breakfast was even American, but compared to many other hotels on route it was good. Wi-Fi very, very slowly, I therefore a prepaid -3G card for my iPad bought. All together we were still without hesitation check in, price-performance is okay and location almost everything is. read more

Only 7 minutes' walk from time Square. Metro station in 5 minutes reachable. Very many bars and restaurant in the immediate area. Perfect for a city trip. We were surprised-and the positive. For new York standards large rooms. Even a closet was available, the one in other hotels twice the price looked in vain. New shower mountings in the bathroom, very clean. We had a double room facing the street-certainly the most charming rooms, since the rooms with a view of a dark inner courtyard thus not very attractive. Good delivery options volatility blind and curtains. Street noise tolerable, no comparison to other hotels. Of course you have to be aware, that you are in a town with millions of inhabitants and not on the village is. ... But we could, despite noise sensitivity, when opened window to sleep. Bed was very good, pillows and blankets with Dauen or springs and not with Schaumstofffüllung! Very good. The only negative thing about the rooms: unfortunately, the in-room safe did not well established. Breakfast in the lobby: bagels and cereal, croissants, juice, coffee and tea-at least there was some in the stomach has to start the day. Kitchen was available throughout the day-tea and coffee were available. All in all, a typical new York City Hall to the hotel expanded. Very charming and stylish, the staff at any time friendly and helpful, the best location to boot. Thoroughly recommended! read more

Small and nice hotel has a total 21 rooms. 46st W corner 9th. Name of the hotel = number. The hotel is divided in two halves, separated by a small courtyard. Breakfast (sweets, automated coffee, cereal, juices) is a matter of taste. You can take everything could be taken to the rooms or in the lobby food. If there are a lot of people as it was quite cozy. The structure of the guests was completely mixed but predominantly tourists from Europe. As the hotel is so close to the cruise ship terminal is there were a few people who ... had booked to stay there for one night for the next day's qualifying vessels check in. Cleanliness was OK but the rooms could need a fresh coat of paint. But that didn't bother us as it was only noticed. The hotel is not accessible for disabled people --> no elevators and a lot of small and/or long Treppenstiege. read more

Our room was on the top floor (3Etage) at the rear of the hotel as makes you be on the stairs Sportabzeichen: -) but that didn't bother us. The rooms are spacious, with very comfortable, no worn king-size beds, flat screen, small refrigerator and a spacious bathroom (hairdryer available - was completely enough). Safe is free available in the closet. The only draw back is the lack for hanging clothes, there were only 4 hangers available. The rooms are carpeted and could definitely as mentioned above a coat of paint. We were still totally comfortable. Due to the fact that it was on the top floor was, we had almost no passing traffic, of those in the other rooms be perceived I couldn't comment.

Restaurants, delis, and shops in the immediate neighborhood. For breakfast you can also go to the nearby Galaxy diner, delicious and cheap.

The 414 hotel has gotten a bit old, but it is priced great for NYC, and the rooms are nice and big and clean. Only bookable with breakfast (scant). The location is great, it is only about ten minutes to Broadway, yet it is not noisy at 46. Street. This is right in the middle of the theater district, where several restaurants. So was the breakfast no problem. The staff was remarkably friendly and helpful. Leave your bags, if you only in the evening flies, questions about the city's best shopping area etc., no problem at all. All in all ..., highly recommended! read more

For New York standards quite spacious rooms. Ours was in the rear building in the basement. As the courtyard with tables and chairs are just in front of the window has always kept closed the curtains - so of course dark. Black furnishings part of stylish and no reason to devaluation! But we were out all day, so no matter. A big sink on the back of the room, toilet & bathroom/shower separated. LCD TV and radio with iPod/iPhone - dock in room available, as well as a small refrigerator. There was also a kettle. Everything not brand new but ok. overall promises the internet site of the hotels a bit more, the photographer has done a great job, but - and that is the most important - it has a good feel, it is clean, fairly modern and is generally the description. The location in the 46th Street right on 9th Avenue is ideal for discovery of Midtown Manhattan. You'll be a 5 minute walk from Broadway with various musicals, in 10 minutes is on the right in Times Square - much you can't be more city center. Nevertheless the hotel is located very quiet as the 46th Street this is not your typical thoroughfare. Little traffic & lots of trees right on the road add to the ambiance. reachable in 3 minutes and right on 9th Avenue in the district of Hells kitchen as well as between 9th and 8th Avenue numerous restaurants - from the fast snack about pub, pizza, sushi up with very good Italian restaurant everything was there. In 5 minutes walk right on the river, the 46th Street leads right to the USS Intrepid & Museum, steps away the boat tours start to the Statue of Liberty and around Manhattan Island. For shopping you should either in the other areas (Soho, Greenwich Village) the Time Warner Building on the Central Park (15 min or refined and expensive stores in the 5th Ave. visit (25 minutes
