The palace is a wonderful report indian architecture of the past centuries, with slight signs of decay since the renovate very expensive and is expensive, the palace but a morbid beauty awards. See wikipedia. The first impression is overwhelming because the hotels the trip ' upper middle class' are, we so no 5 * maharadja palaces in the popular sense were entitled to expect, like for instance the maharadja palaces in udaipur. You feel in past centuries back. An outward by height walls secretive oasis of calm for relaxing and enjoy, especially after a busy visit the famous's mountain fortress ... jaiselmers. As a part of a rajasthan tour, we spend unfortunately only one night (dinner and breakfast) in this and valuable area. We would have liked to several days there were. For the palace full 6 *. Of the described beetles as in the assessment of november 2010 was nothing to see. Unfortunately only stars for the gastronomy. Bewertung lesen

We had a small romantic suite. Rooms, very low doors (to kopfanstossen ) and furniture almost original antique condition, equipped with all modern facilities, such as flat screen tv, fridge, air conditioning, internet connection, and so on. The bedroom with a huge, very good bed and seating, a small dressing area with a desk, wardrobe, coffee/tea maker, and subsequent bathroom with a big shower, no make up mirror, no hair dryer. No biting houseflies or other bugs since all windows with impeccable flyscreens. Toilet with intimspülung. On request, within a few minutes of two more pillows brought. No clairaudience as november 2010 described.

The dinner found on one of the many terraces before an absolutely movie mature setting with musicians and professional dancers. The buffet was rather small, but sufficient and very tasty. We noticed, as several hotels of the round trip, a rich dessert buffet in this hotel category probably not usual. There was only ice cream with sweet ball, an indian specialty but not exactly to our taste, since a bit bland and floury. Unfortunately the breakfast was the following morning more than disappointing. Since we but due to the then scheduled long bus ride on difficult roads from sicherheitsgruenden anyway hardly which to eat, which was frugale breakfast.

Upon arrival we were from maharadja front desk, the in this complex lives. An interesting personality. Check-in, bellboys, perfect. Very friendly, helpful and professional staff. More about service in 'rooms'.

Amid the below the fortress located town, perfect location for the exploration of's mountain fortress and culturally historical valuable verbrennungsstätte bada bagh. The further explore the unineressanten town below the fortress to shopping/entertainment possibilities was not planned.

I have visited some of the upper class hotels in Jaisalmer, but Mandir Palace Hotel has in my opinion the best value. Why? The hotel is a former palace, built in original Rajasthan style. Therefore you will find a very pleasant and special atmosphere. Great view to the fort complex. Bewertung lesen
