The welcoming at the reception extremely unfriendly and partly even arrogant ( exception there were). It is a mistake with the control of the reservation dates frustrated. We wanted to one night stay there. There were however two nights. So one day we arrived later. At the front desk very cool welcome. On demand, what with the broken booking was, we were put off. Later, we found out, that the complete amount for two nights due is. Therefore had the breakfast on saturday( day of arrival) conceded. In this case we were lucky in disguise and could thus excellent breakfast ... in the café Wien enjoy. read more

The double room with lake view was perfect, large, clean and 3 window sea view, great big bathroom modern renovated with roll-in shower, Rainfall showerhead etc. Daily cleaning and Bettenaufdecken. Massive closet, many glasses, well stocked mini bar, delicious Begrüßungsgebäckstücke and berries, window very well insulated and soundproofed ( it was directly next to the hotel the wine festival ) - with an open window super sound to be heard! Room very bright, tasteful furnishings, massive bed, modern flatscreen tv, generous sofa. Staff very accommodating, never fake, great, friendly and faster service, great Concierge, great include free breakfast, delicious dinner ..., small but fine and extremely clean wellness area and to fluffy Bathrobes and slippers in the room, quick housekeeping, good parking spaces right at the house for 12 €on the day completely as a part of, room service for 4 €per person quite justified for the service, the you get! Concierge is very good informed and you feel directly welcomed warmly. Average age because of the price older, bothered us but not, the vacation was relaxed and quiet, we didn't feel inclined looked at (both 28) or treated differently. Especially great: the restaurant terrace also for breakfast - direct sea view. Also great: various Champagnercocktails and the possibility, this (and also all other drinks and food) in the comfortable, spacious beach chairs right next to of the terrace drives-again with a grandiose sea view and protection against the wind. Tip' normal' mineral water order, not the Sylt-Source - very expensive ( not only in the hotel, general!) We would come again! Only then please better weather:-) the location is excellent for everything-for shopping, beach, walks on the beach and eat out. There are umpteen Fahradverleihe nearby with e-bikes, and by westerland is by everywhere very quickly, as it 'middle' is located. Recommendable nonetheless: bike tour to Kampen - with Uwe-Dune and dolmen, red and green cliff, Lister port, tideland the Vogelkoje and much more! read more

Fine category justified, in spite of the age of the hotel pristine in shot, constantly updated and the charm keep, congratulations at this point at the hotel management. Caring staff, on each' category' guest outstanding will be shut down. The food is quite pricey, nevertheless very tasty! Gorgeous area on the main beach of westerland with ' erhabenem ' view from the terrace and the restaurant. Breakfast leaves nothing to the imagination! We traveled with our smallest (8-years-old) the also very probably felt without steiff to behavior. All together a comfortable ambience, we will come again! read more

The complete staff from the hotel Miramar is extremely competent, helpful, friendly and funny. Even if you the first time there was, you have the feeling the people long to know. By all hotels ( we were already in very much hotels) this is the best staff that we have ever experienced. Boss and house's manager are precisely to assess. Sylt did not please me but because of of the hotel we will go back. read more

It is for the intercontinental Hong Kong, Switzerland and the Mirador Kempinski the breidenbacher Hof in Düsseldorf under other one of the most fascinating hotels that we saw and could enjoy. We had the 'new year's Eve arrangement' with breakfast, dinner and new year's Eve dinner. The structure of the guests was too many German and the average age from young to old. On the whole hotel is great cleanliness. read more

    From the charming hotelier Nicolas circle with its family, as well as a discreet friendliness of the staff -it was a very good service. Immaculate cleaning of the rooms and additional services were natural. we had no complaints.

    '- staff is friendly but also quite confused not very accommodating in the handling of complaints. they gave us a room given, in which the painter just out goods and freshly painted extremely poisons ausdünstende furniture were. our first night (Christmas Eve!), we have now spent with headache and nausea and on the next day additional with rash on the body, the then 2 weeks stopped. our clothes we had to completely cleaned. we have on demand 30% discount on the first night -ridiculous! Voluntarily would have nothing at all given! also a reburial was only on nachdringlichem request made.

We were state of the hotel (five stars) very dissapointed. We wanted us in this short break even and chose therefore a 5 star hotel and the direct location at the Nordsee. The hotel is visible strong used, means worn. The booked room clearly smaller than in the booking. The bathroom without windows and so small, that you could hardly move and acrobatics performed had, for the fixed glass wall the bathtub to move. The interior room and bathroom cheap. Very doubting we looked, as the monday then loud construction noise began, beginning 08,30! You did not consider it ... necessary, us as guests to inform. In the belief, it could be only a short disruption action, we waited two days from. After a subsequent complaint at the front desk, we were given for the remaining two days also worn suite another wing of the building. The construction stopped at. Conclusion our stay in this hotel is, that the invested money in any case worth. It is probably rather, living standard the owner (family-run since beginning 20. ap., it is in the Miramar obviously very proud, as for the hotel guest in the hotel to read) to hold. read more

Over a hundred years old this hotel has a nice atmosphere, both from outside as well as from the inside, but the technical defects are especially in the dining room noticeable. There is no modern ventilation, only skylights, which opens the chief waiter at the breakfast, and then let it tidy and uncomfortable. The dark room and flaws in the bathroom was annoying. read more

For a vacation on Sylt we can further recommend the hotel, not only the unique location, just 'everything' is a small, luxury package together. The friendly staff is every wish a reality and make you feel at ease. A great breakfast buffet with direct Lake View left our days always good start. The bar offers a wide range of cocktails in a casual Art Deco ambience. The furnishing of our suite with sea view was fine and elegant, you could really relax here. The floors service erüllte as well as the coffee desire in the morning in the sunset fast ..., friendly and unobtrusive. We really felt very well cared for and certain again. read more

The hotel Miramar is a hotel of an extra class - directly at the boardwalk and on Friedrichstrasse, with its own parking The price is quite high Sylt accordingly, but if you're looking for a bit of luxury and great comfort, travelers. Especially to be highlighted is that the breakfast without extra cost-apart from 4€ service package-mt everything also served at the buffet, delivered to your room. Every day there was a bottle of mineral water and evening a night cap. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The bar was not so large, but the atmosphere was very appealing. ... It is smoke-free. The cocktail offers a range of snacks served. The spa can be easily reached by a separate elevator in the hotel's own bathrobe and terrycloth slippers. The pool is quite large and had a pleasant temperature. There are plenty of towels and relax. You can see from the pool and the sea. We felt like royalty. Thank you, dear Miramar, for a wonderful relaxing getaway! read more

We stayed only one night at the Miramar, but can recommend it unreservedly, had booked a double room but were given a suite facing the lake. Very nice decor, very clean and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was very varied, fresh and delicious. Absolute Dream Stay! read more

High good antique house of Mr 1903. High ceilings, creaking wood stairs, lots of dark wood with contemporary technical luxury. You feel like a king on the terrace. Beautiful seat in basket, when it is windy, bright, plush Fleece -cover enough! Right on the promenade. Just a few steps away from the sea and a few steps in the shopping area, Friedrichstrasse. Central is not! Very good managed five star hotel with meticulous cleanliness! The newly renovated guest rooms on the land side, for example, room number 261 are great, tastefully decorated, the high ceilings, two separate closets, balcony, flat ... screen tv, DVD player, very good beds, bright room with large windows and Wohlfühlbad wide window sill all over the bathtub. Great breakfast, if the weather is fine you can find more information on the terrace with a magnificent view over the ocean-a dream! The bar is very comfortable, with competent, friendly bar boss. The wellness area and the pool are very modern and welcoming again the meticulous cleanliness. The gym could be a little bit bigger. The holiday there with my entire family, eight people, even with grandma and Grandpa and everybody was happy, what more could you ask for! Because my father was a stroke, I stayed in a tripping edge in the room attentive, it took less than half hour had built the house-carpenter a professional ramp. It was on the first floor a state-of-the-art accessible luxury bathroom, which my father like with home made. As you cross on small things, such as very close pay parking (12 €a day). Check-in on the day of arrival until 17 hours, although we arrived at eleven o'clock on the island there were, unfortunately, the lady at the front desk was incompetent, but the boss regularised immediately the problems. Shocking, how this hotel could get five stars! About 15 to 20 times a year I am privately, as well as 5 star business in various buildings in Germany and Europe-but I have ever experienced. If you like to check: Room -246 of 4.-6. May 2010 Felt like size: 'open prison' -small rooms and shower cubicle not-or upgrade was not possible unfortunately, everything was occupied. View of 'disk', says the land side of the room. In the bar there was to cold beer and the same first on the shoe poured-a replacement drinks was first brought after '. As ... I am still a bit guilty '-adversities happen all, but please take action immediately. Restaurant: delicious bread in advance-however, the main course of the asparagus not more firm and bitter-no-go for a asparagus connoisseurs! Wines very good! Breakfast: 15 minutes wait for coffee and only with memory-I was just 'forgotten'. General work friendliness and attentiveness of the entire staff always fake and artificial very unfortunate, but that is no Mitarbeiterproblem, but management! Overall the hotel felt Sylt-bonus and from its great location with direct access to the promenade. My colleagues and I won't be staying there again, as it is in the same time have seen many similar things. read more

The Hotel's Restaurant: Food for my taste too fat and expensive. -Service with some bumbles Rooms: -there was unfortunately no possibility for the preparation of hot water for coffee and No cups or plates. -Comfortable decor with flat screen tv and DVD player. Pool and sauna area very nice and in new condition. Basically competent staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Children: play room for children and toys can be rented, for example the beach for bucket and a shovel. read more

The whole hotel, directly on the beach promenade of westerland, with a fantastic view of the ocean, is elegantly and furnished to a high standard, inter alia, in the Belle Epoque style! The bar (smoking areas) is beautiful, comfortable and elegant furniture, elegant and bright, there is even a piano. Throughout the hotel antique furniture, pictures, the most beautiful lamps and so on as well as the restaurant! We had a nice double room without balcony with a view of the sea, the beach and the promenade, on the third floor, number 250 (mid-price range, 295 euros per night including ... breakfast). Furnished among other things with flat screen tv, minibar, big bed with our opinion, is unfortunately too soft mattresses, bathrobes and beach shoes, we had to leave, shower gel, body lotion-everything, in a five star hotel should be. All sorts of extras can be ordered, for example, additional pillows. The rooms were allowed to smoke. We were greeted with a written greeting from the owners including a small etagere with chocolates, cookies and fruit. It can get noisy, if the windows are open! The view was great, but the access to the beach early and the room was on the front desk, in addition, a bungee- Tramolin built, the loud music played. (7.30-11 hours), the breakfast buffet was very good. Every day, there was a rush Court, for example, white sausage Saturday, Sunday lobster. There was champagne not. Some, including various Kästesorten, Kabanossi, liver sausage and so on are freshly cut, otherwise further cold meat, cheese, fresh fruit, cereals, crispy rolls, fresh bread, yoghurt, fruit juices, baked beans, broth, ter of herring with onions, salmon, Serrano ham. Various egg dishes as omelets, fried eggs and so on must be ordered. The buffet is a machine, in order to prepare fresh carrot juice, which is very noisy, annoying, if you need to be near sits. Well, otherwise the regular guests will definitely preferentially treated, in particular, with regard to the seat, my goodness-some fantastic! It didn't bother my husband but not much, including twice to ask for coffee in. The pool is nice, warm water, swim laps, but this will only be possible, if you're alone, inter alia, dousing shower, massage jets, comfortable beach chairs, towels and it was wonderfully quiet! Everything was very clean. Unfortunately, you had told us at the time of booking, the math on this weekend the beauty area is closed. The disappointment was large. We must not allow this to happen! We were, in a beauty salon in the proximity to ask-but that is not the point. Familiar very pleasant friendly atmosphere. Direct beach location with a beautiful view of the sea. Classical bar ( for the smokers) with mood music. Full buffet breakfast with a large offer. Also the late risers received a breakfast. We will be back. read more
