Good hotel, friendly staff, great spa. Verbesseungsvorschlag : we were twice in february there, always the same selection at the buffet table in the evening. Tasted good, the selection not large (for example no fish or poultry) and no departure - after eating all clothes washed. read more

We are just from Hotel Waldeck in Bodenmais returned. We were fully satisfied and would gladly come again. Our 'family room' was in the main building on the 3. floor, for us was very convenient. The lift ( the right nearby of the room was) runs just to the restaurant, the page exit/ parking and the course of to the pool leads. For us was the super good, since we have 2 small children always beautifully packed were. The breakfast is very plentiful %blank%. There were depending on weekday (so room occupancy) between at least 5-10 sorts of different sausage ..., cheese, bread-and roll, a muesli/ kornflakesbar, yoghurt, fruit, scrambled egg, boiled eggs, juice and so on if a plate or a dish was empty, they were immediately refilled. With the dinner we were very satisfied. You can from 3-4 main courses choose. Since one finds actually always which. For afternoon buffet we cannot say much, since we only 1 used it. House were 2 different cakes/cakes, different salads, fish and cheese set up. We enjoyed it. We spend the days with our children the arber the sledging or other excursions made. Only therefore we have the afternoon buffet not used.
From the construction work we heard nothing, but you can see the craftsmen. The new sauna area from before. At the end of january 2013 finished. The hotel is 5 minutes away, from ern of Bodenmais. The boss is a very industrious mrs, where almost always the whole day at the hotel there is. The place bodenamais is very nice. The staff is friendly, even if on some things not so 8. give. The spa area is very good. The different types of saunas and the swimming pool are super. Wi-fi is free in the hotel lobby. read more

Stayed over new year's eve 2012-2013 in this house. The in august 2012 reserved and paid (!) Room was obviously not for us available. Instead of the booked double room with seating area erfhielten we a double room with 2 beds, one of which was the sofa converted = not at all comfortable. Check-in was very uninformative, swimming pool, sauna, beauty area, underground transition from the next to the main building, we had to ourselves and other guests interview. All front doors were always open, was moved to the neighboring house.
The staff were obviously during full allocation partly overstrained. ... Often completely cleared, instead of in the restaurant arriving guests according to their wish to ask, ordered drinks forget or brought wrong ones. The wine list includes a few, bad declared wines. Even the service staff could not tell us, from which winery the ordered wine comes. The dishes were in the large and whole as 08/15 program to see. For breakfast there was often the same cold meat and cheese, no regional offer. Fruit salad was from cans, the with apple and meleonenstücken enriched were. The bread and roll choice was all right.
The afternoon snack were the remains of the other previous day menus offered. Although this until 15:30 o'clock was offered, was often at 15:00 o'clock already much finish and was not restocked.
For dinner there was menu selection, 2 time buffet. The salad selection was all right, unfortunately were neither salad dressings in a dessert buffet each dessert labeled, so you can in some cases the only suspect could, what it was. Furthermore, that many powder desserts and prefabricated food offered. The fish dishes were very good,
The sauna area is definitely too small ( in january should new area to be opened, we had however-except construction noise-nothing). A relaxation room with 3! Chairs that is unacceptable! All used sauna and pool towels had to deal with to the room and there were the house keeping changed-hygienic very questionable! The solarium worked during my visit. The lady at the reception wanted to take care of it and i know-i am still today. I also never a solarium with what appeared instead of hygiene cleaner cleaned-a grundereinigung for this part would be in dire need of would be advisable.
Quality and treatments in the beauty spa were good. Although the two ladies in very small cabins work, we offer competent applications certify and nice they are.
Generally one could say, that the house a lovely ambience lacks. Artificial flowers etc. Are carelessly arranged. A full laundry basket is 2 days in the corridor to the restaurant. The cushions were in need of a thorough cleaning. The hotel bar looks more like a train station concourse, by the bar all restaurant drinks spent which unrest.
If you want a simple house, will not disappointed, from a 4-star wellness and comfortable hotel is the Waldeck however far away. read more

With large expectation we are to Bodenmais dangers. The first impression from the hotel - great! A very friendly front desk (you feel right at home) - than the room great-large, furnished nicely and with a terrace with a view of sunbathing area! The food was excellent - you could not at all so much food, as you could have! Service super nice and always with friendly face! It was a really great vacation and carried the hotel with most in! We will definitely come back again! Thanks to the entire team! read more

The hotel makes a quite new impression, there-as the boss said -, either something new hinzugebaut or existing is reconditioned-and that came us as guests full benefit.
The three-quarters guest house we have found very pleasant.

we wanted to sit with our small daughter in a couples winter snow and have our stay we didn't regret it. The apartment (we had type D) in the building are especially good because of their size for families. The food was delicious, the breakfast left nothing to be desired, the evening you could choose between three or four skin courses, which were served, in addition a soup, salad buffet and a dessert. We have been coming for years again and again and again and again in the following Bodenmais Hotel Waldeck. Rooms in the main building are the new super become great, you feel like you are at home. We enjoyed the stay in the hotel again and again. The food was varied, if you didn't get full here, it is your own fault. Great was also the new sign with weather forecast for those day and possible Freizeittipps in town and in the surrounding area. The staff were great as always. We had a pleasant stay on the whole. To complain about is the quality of the mattresses travelled all four adults and caused partially substantial problems. The food was rather average price for those cooking, but still acceptable. The price/performance ratio is okay. read more
