We found the salad beach resort in Thailand stay (16 days, six resorts) as the best resort, super nice vegetation in the entire area, small and well arranged. Very nice courteous staff, large, clean rooms (we had a bungalow), at high tide the beach is unfortunately hardly there, but it was good with a terrace right over the water and you can over a staircase into the sea, we didn't mind that at all. Hotel beach was good the beach was very nice and cosy. The breakfast need to be a lot improved. Dont understand why they let dirty dogs(thier skin look really sick) walk around hotel, restaurant area and come very close with your table, when some staff touch the dog and come to service us. When we complained about this the answer was some guests love dogs we can not get rid of it. We ok with normal dogs but not unhealty dogs. I will not go back there. read more

The bungalow area was located directly on the Northern end of the quiet salad beaches. On the beach there are sufficient restaurants. The Duke Doubble recommend the restaurant and the salad hut. The beach chairs at the beach were somewhat rare, sufficient beach chairs by the pool are available. During our stay (summer holidays) there were many children. In the 'town', there are a handful of small shops, in the beach, food and drink. An ATM is also available, but it was not in operation. There is a pharmacy also; but it has only a few hours for; for serious ... problem you can go to the neighbor. Shuttle from pier: 150 Baht per person per pick-up. Alternatively, you can take a shared taxi, 150-200 baht costs. In this part of the island, it was very quiet. You can have a rent a scooter, as there were hardly any traffic. However, the roads are rather poor, partly with potholes and treacherous sand on the street. If you slow travel, yet this is not a problem. read more

This year we were already the second time in this resort. Because we had to leave after our first stay (2008) very impressed! This year we spent our Thailand trip a week there and had a wonderful time! Much had changed in the past two years, most of the positive sense. What was negative, however, was the mattresses for the beach chairs by the pool, as well as on the beach. Unfortunately these were already quite run down atzt and cash. The rooms in the main building, as well as the bungalows are very nice and clean. The breakfast buffet ... was always good, fresh and to our complete satisfaction. The entire hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very recommendable-good food, reasonable prices. A massage should not miss it in any case. We are sure, that we in any case again in the haad salad beach resort will go. And maybe we'll see us there. ☺ read more

Small resort, from us as interruptions for six nights used (otherwise 17 nights Aloha resort KOH Samui). Transportation with easy Lompryah. For a longer stay the resort is limited suitably. The deck chairs by the pool and beach were just disgusting (biggest complaint). Very nice staff (nei) in the restaurant. Dinner directly at the beach was just beautiful. excursion for snorkeling (500 BHT) nice pastime. Take beach shoes I would highly recommend. The water is shallow, sea cucumbers and sea urchins many. Swim negative, bathe and the monkeys roar from the mountains (no joke) listen. Relax resort with many Scandinavian ..., Russian and German guests. read more

The complex is located in the North West of the island directly on the beach. We had booked a beach front bungalows for two, a bit smaller and unfortunately in an earlier review described as dark (201). The size of the room was despite the extra bed but the room was perfectly fine and clean. The whole decor was rather 'basic' and getting old. The lighting was unfortunately not much and also during the day little light in the room. The bathroom was large enough. A little unusual, for all items (towels, remote, pillows, and so on) countersign and at ... the front desk despite credit card deposit of 500, -THB deposit had. From the terrace with massive wood has a beautiful view of the sunset, the sea and the beach. In the depth of July was very low. As already described several times children should take bathing shoes because of the stones and sea cucumbers. Be sure to go snorkeling in the bay! The hotel also offers a lasting several hours excursion for snorkeling is good value for money (500, -THB)! You should consider taking the money since 'bottleshops beach' will break and you get in the bar very good prices food and drinks. Right in the hotel offers diving courses in the various suitable for beginners. We spent a few hours on a diving center. The quality of the equipment is great in a very nice and laid back atmosphere. The atmosphere and the furnishings in the entire area was great, very friendly and helpful. Here simply everything fit. The garden area was very well-kept and clean pool (we found it not too small) is in the middle. However the pool chair mats were complete rubbish! As we offer something I cannot understand. So, the food: the breakfast we could just five nights life but it was really low category and the price not appropriate at all. The service, including eggs prepared, was always funny and nice, but obviously not trained at all. The view at the breakfast but compensated for much! Strange, but we found the evening meal there rather poor and expensive. Much better it pleased us in the salad hut or a little bit easier in 'my way' next door. It is on the beach but many alternatives. Very delicious and very nice was also the small restaurant just before the entrance to the salad beach on the left hand side. Belongs to another resort. Laundry washing (1, -€) and scooter hire (3, -€) was without problems possible outside of the resort, but was not much going on. read more

very, very nice small hotel in a wonderful tropical gatren directly on the sea! wonderful restaurants with a great price/performance ratio! only the breakfast was a bit spartan but okay! this resort and I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone can! everything was very well-kept and nice staff and great beach and delicious food and great bungalow. What more could you ask for? we'll be back for a couple of days! read more

Everybody is going to Phangan for the full moon party so did we. If you dont like to crowd with thousands of teenagers looking to get high 3 days before and after the party this is the place to go. Salad bay is a nice small bay with aprox. 10 hotels on its beautifull beach. Salad beach resort is definitly the spot with happening here (evenings especially). They have the best restaurant with great food, specially the barbecue with fresh seafood, and the prices are really affordable (beer = 1EUR). We had garden boongalow and it was great with nice ... porch in front where you can relax and read. Just 10m to the pool and another 15m to the beach. Great place for younger people and families. But beware during full moon party you will not sleep a lot! read more
