A very clean, beautiful small city hotel with nice roof terrace. Calm and pleasant and very well located. My daughter and i felt very comfortable. Was very good the guest care, a young lady, who in the morning for breakfast with some very useful tips for the city and the surrounding area the guests individually cared for. The offer free coffee and tea in the afternoon in the hotel bar was very pleasant, also the possibility at very early departure for a continental breakfast to get. The plaka hotel definitely again. read more

Hi everybody,
I must admit I´m not a frequent "online-rater", but if something is outstandingly good (or bad) I force myself to rate it. In this case it´s amazingly good. I went to Athens with my girlfriend for 4 days. We just got back yesterday and it was really an unforgettable trip. Part of it, because the Hotel was just perfect! Right in the heart of Athens, with everything just the way it should be (service, cleanliness, food and extras like the view on the acropolis and the rooftop-terrace with an beautiful view over the city). And all that for ... a more then reasonable (not to say cheap) price!
I can just say: I travel a lot, but this Hotel and its staff left me stunned, with a need to recommend it to everyone and more than willing to come back! read more

The staff are very friendly, the view from the roof terrace was fantastic. The hotel is in the middle of the old town, you is 10 minutes away on foot on the Acropolis, two metro stations nearby, in the middle of shopping district, and so on Nothing like! read more

The hotel is an ideal starting point to explore to Athens. The view from the roof terrace on the Acropolis is sensational. The connection with public transport could be better not be. Both by metro, as also by bus from the airport to reach very good. read more

We have spent five nights at the hotel plaka. The room are modern and functional. Restaurants are plenty of it in the area. Despite the location in the center it is not noisy at night. The staff informed a very good on opening times of the sights, public transport and so on. read more

The hotel had booked a long time before arrival to a very reasonable price and was with my stay in the hotel was very good. The check-in went very fast and my request for a quiet also room with a direct view on the Acropolis was taken into account. The view from the room was fantastic and the Acropolis was only by the view from the roof terrace were satisfied. The single room had a good size and was clean. The breakfast offered was for a 3 star house very good. In the afternoon was also the free use of ... the machine in the breakfast room possible. The staff were friendly and it was nothing to complain about. The location of the hotel for a city sightseeing tour of Athens is ideal, because all attractions can easily be reached to foot. At the access doors to the elevator were important information for the appropriate use of public transport, so that one knew, what with restrictions due to a strike on the part of the transport is to be expected. I has fallen it at the hotel is very good and I can recommend it only. read more

We enjoyed our short stay in Athens. The hotel is situated in a perfect location and is very nice and comfortably furnished. The beautiful roof top terrace overlooking the Acropolis gave us unforgettable moments. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The second couple, the with us is even had a room with a view of the Acropolis. The hotel I can only recommend it! read more

Competent and very friendly support given by the public relations manager, necessary room change was taken care of in a short period. The booked breakfast was good and sufficient. More dining options all in the hotel are not available. In the near vicinity there is a huge Restaurantsauswahl. The highlight of the hotel is the outdoor terrace on the 7th floor. 33rd floor with a view of the city and the Acropolis, especially at night lit very beautiful to look at. The bar is open 18 hours and you can enjoy with a drink this unique moment. read more

The hotel is ideally situated in the Plaká (= athenian old town), if you want to see antique sites. It is best to the Acropolis by taxi, but the ancient agora, the Roman Forum and Hadrian's Library can be found in the immediate vicinity. As nearby the pedestrianised area with many shops and numerous nice cafes and taverns as well. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Even though we actually up to 12 hours, we could leave without extra charge up to 14 hours. The breakfast was ok but not very varied. Fresh fruit and vegetables there is very little. ... Our room had a view of the Acropolis, which of course was great. The rooms to the street side bought t. Balconies. Amazingly we could sleep with an open window at night, it is that quiet. We felt very comfortable and would stay here again. So: Absolutely recommendable! read more
