Hotel Esperia^{(3 stars)}

There were some rooms in the meantime renovated. The ' old room' are actually the price range very good, merely the beds are very hard and some with old springs mistake, so not so great. The new room I don't know, but I heard, that much better beds and instead of something unpleasant shower curtain in the bathroom shower doors have. We would gladly come again, but during the next visit spend a little more money and a new room reserve.

There's a restaurant with a terrace, respectively balcony, on the breakfast and dinner is served. In addition there is by the pool a small snack bar, the very much delicious for little money has to offer. The breakfast was typical of the country little down 4 echsungsreich, we however always found to something delicious, furthermore everything very freshly and appetizing presented.

The service you can only as a great name, all of the cleaning ladies, caretaker, waiter and waitresses were very friendly and hard-working. The rooms are daily (except for sunday, what we in the sense of cleaning ladies found ) cleaned really well, change of towels is also daily.

Thank god there are here hardly the annoying habit is the chairs by the pool to reserve ( we stayed in three years just twice saw). Can't say much more about it, since we much prefer at the beach were.

Small very clean and well-kept and quiet family-run hotel. Nice accommodating staff. A wonderful lovingly maintained garden with small pool. The food is according to the stars very well, could however a little' greek' be :-) We were for 3 time and had the pleasant feeling ' right at home'. Should be emphasized, that this hotel renovated and the standard itself in the last few years has increased. There is almost no animation, besides occasional ' greek evenings ', the really nice, especially the whole family of the hotel owner are involved. The types of people are very heterogeneous, from young families to seniors.

The hotel lies not right next to beach, about 10 minutes the only main street in Marmari ( hardly any traffic ) to the sea walk, but expected one there but a wonderful white sandy beach on a great clear sea. The beach is rarely fully and you can without any problems the loungers rent, the you want, and for only merely 5 €on the day for 2 chairs and a screen. Marmari itself is definitely not the highlight for night owls, but there is a regular bus to Kos (city).

Quality of the dishes evenings was good, however we would have liked more selection. You could every day salad together, additionally gave it 3 main courses with side dishes, spagetti with varying sauce, 1 soup, and 2 prepared salads.

Lots of guests do not stop at the default, the toilet paper not into the toilet to throw. We had a clogged drain in the bathroom, which in our neighbors was the cause. Our room after returning from a day on the beach underwater, luckily without smell nuisances. The problem but immediately!

Complex top maintained, To the beach good 5 minutes on foot, Mostly German nice guests all age groups, Mosquitoes were evenings a plage. The fly screens on the windows are useful, in addition, we had spray/tea-tree oil to rub it, and so the location good in the hand got.

Very quiet, as we expected, but despite off season were enough options evenings what drink (tip for soccer fans: from the hotel left side bar 'fame'. Simply, but nicely, civil price and many buli games live :-)

Our hotel room was large enough, we had a balcony, tv, air conditioning, safe and so on. We had unfortunately no hair dryer, but many rooms different, as they had been refurbished.

In the area there was quite a lot of restaurants and bars, In a restaurant I was regular ^ ^, they were super nice and casual, otherwise we also have something ' on the building' received. In the hotel there was breakfast and dinner, found I super, that not everything was so 'formal' is. The food I found also good, nevertheless there was not a lot of variation ( one day even spaghetti, at the other again potatoes...).

The staff I found very nice and friendly, they were always polite and could partly even German. The hotel room were all 2a 3 days cleaned.

On the beach, there was water skiing, volleyball and other... Otherwise were at the beach always enough loungers with sun screen and partly also with a wind screen. Discos there was so much I don't know... While there are smaller shops, but no major stores. At the hotel pool were actually always loungers with sun screen free, also the pool was in a quite good condition. A computer with internet there was in a small room in the hotel for a fee, otherwise there was on the whole hotel free of charge wi-fi. Otherwise

We liked the hotel, it was quite' informal' and also other tourist are nice. It is quite clean. Nevertheless it lacks some hotel rooms at equipment ( with us the hair dryer ^^)

The location found I super, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and other small shops are not far away. Also the beach is at the end the street. The airport, as a larger city are not in the immediate environment... In the hotel there was once a week evenings an evening at the hotel bar, where all assembled, with music, really nice:-) Otherwise had the hotel no further program, nevertheless had the bars nearby evenings, where you for example soccer could watch, or anything else...

The rooms are by the size and furniture good to very good equipped ( for a three-star hotel), however were the mattresses a catastrophe. I (186 centimeter, 80 kilogram) felt every single coil spring the mattresses. My son made the but not from. You could nevertheless sleep. However should the hotel the air conditioning not with 4 Euro per day extra calculate. Without this was it in the room (2nd floor, so under the flat roof) with comfortable 35 °C not bearable. The 56 €for 2 weeks I would have probably in the amount of easily verschmerzt, locally annoyed me a bit. The air conditioning with a remote control but it was very good, efficient, well adjustable and relatively silent. Oh yes, and a fridge should the hotel in the already prepared floor units also install. The tv was quite small, had also German program ( around 3 to 4), but no ARD or ZDF, where during our vacation the olympiad was.

We had the half board and didn't regret it. Breakfast buffet and dinner buffet were very tasty and sufficiently extensively. Evenings there was always at least 2 meat dishes, a fish dish and a casserole dish, usually 2 types of vegetables, 2 side dishes like fries, rice, pasta, potatoes etc. , drinks went extra, were however relatively cheap, soft drinks under 2 Euro. There is in Marmaris a larger number of restaurants, the hard, but under the trend all inclusive the neighboring hotels ( the esperia unusual) apparently suffered.

The staff were very friendly, the front desk always tried hard, issues or problem to solve. The English language skills were good to very good. The rooms were daily except sunday Cleaned really well. The service during dinner was also very good, used plates were quickly was worn, however were tablecloths in the restaurant between various occupancies the same table only with strong pollution changed.

The pool is, as mentioned, relatively large and was always very clean, there were enough loungers with sun screens to the pool ( free), even toys in the shallow pool and 2-3 free air mattresses for use in the pool. Infants planschten thrilled in separate shallow pool, the playground (3 swing, slide,?) is only for very small children interesting. An even more thorough program or animation was from the hotel not offered, the but we were right, because we were mostly at the beach. There costs 2 loungers and sun screen 6 Euro, but when the wind (often) are windfangnetze set up. Marmaris is ideal for windsurfers and kite surfers, because often a auflandiger nordwind, with the advanced and expert great surfing. The sea was in the first week very nice, in the second week was the water through sand and plankton to cloudy for snorkeling, as we drove to other beaches with kefalos.

The esperia is a medium-sized hotel in very good condition, the rooms are big enough and very clean, however were the mattresses very bad, had no fridge, and the air conditioning cost in our rooms per day 4 Euro extra. The types of people were pleasant, many germans, but also many other nationalities, the hotel was pleasantly quiet. For its size the hotel has a really big very good well kept pool.

The hotel is about 500 meters from the sandy beach from Marmaris at the central street of the town, rental car-verleihstationen and 2 supermarkets are in direct proximity, to the east ( Kos) and west (kefalos ) the island it is approximately just as far, a bus stop is directly opposite, you can also buggies, quads, bikes or a scooter in the immediate vicinity rent. Two shops in the said central street also offer excursions on the neighboring islands, island tours and trips to interesting beaches on the island at, the offer for this is huge.

Had a family room. 2 rooms and bath with a tv, safe. Telephone, fridge and large terrace with 4 chairs and a small table. Room made a freshly renovated impression. For the air conditioning was 4,- Euro per day all nights will be charged.

Breakfast: Coffee, tea, milk, oranges - and cherry juice. Different rolls, egg or egg dishes, muesli and different marmelade. Dinner: Delicious soup, different salads and meat dishes, fish, pasta, potatoes, fruits and desserts. For a three-star hotel very good. Drinks for dinner could in paid cash or written will. Cola 0.2 millilitre 2,-Euro, beer 0.5 millilitre 3.50,- Euro, half liter water 1.50,-Euro.

All of the staff were always very friendly. With English but also in German one could understand very well. Cleaning the room daily (except sundays), was always top cleaned. Change of towels 3 times a week. You should a laundry service or a doctor need, you can this at the front desk shall apply.

Animation there was no. Wednesday was a greek evening. Pool was always perfectly maintained. Loungers were always available. By the pool free, at the beach for 2 chairs and a screen 5,-Euro. Showers were at the beach and at the pool available.

Esperia makes a very friendly, clean and well maintained impression. There were a lot of German tourist, but also from other nations present. From the age structure was everything available. Young and older couple, as well as families with small and also larger children.

Esperia is located in the village Marmari directly at the access road to the beach. To the sandy beach it is approximately 500 meters, which one could reach comfortably on a wide foot and bike trail reached. A large supermarket is approximately 100 meters left from the hotel and three other in the direction beach. Lots of taverns and some rental car company ( car, scooter, quads and bicycles). There are also the street along two tour operator, here you can excursions to Bodrum, nissyros and various boat trips. For evening entertainment there are also two cocktail bars on the road. There are cocktails for 5, or 6,-Euro, without alcohol 2.50,-Euro, as well as coffee and ice.

The size of the rooms was for the two of us very reasonable since we were usually always outside anyway and the room only for sleeping and the wash used. A positive augenmerkmal was also the modern facilities in all rooms, there were no calcified taps or mold in the rooms. Everything was very clean. Since we booked superior we had extras such as air-conditioning and a fridge, as well as hair dryer and a safe. A small tv there was also still but who wants on vacation far? Except before going to sleep. In our room was also the key (trailer) the electric company. Very habituation-needily however typical of the country is disposing of klopapiers in the adjacent reservoir. A small deduction for the mattresses, we are still very young but this mattresses were a little too hard and pillows rather a bolster. Apart from that everything was very nice.

There was a large dining room and a adjacent terrace where you the food to itself take itself could. We time of day tried the best is to eat to go, but it was always with guests fully. For breakfast gave 4-5 different kinds of jams, schokobrotaufstrich, muesli, cereal, sausage and cheese. It was always fresh coffee prepared and there is a hot or cold milk. You could also orange juice or früchtesaft get. 2 different bread rolls there was, once bright and dark and bread. As a warm dish there was early either scrambled eggs, boiled eggs or a sweet food. For dinner there were countless different salads you could put together yourself. But there were also international hot, like for instance noodles with tomato sauce, but also batter fish, vegetable casseroles and much more. The outshoot of chef has also always everything right refill so always for replenishment and at nothing been made. So I really don't understand here some kritikien not, because the offer for a three-star hotel here eindwandfrei and there is some German hotels what lesson from can. And otherwise you a higher category must book. However that's a question of taste. The beverages you should extra pay, but the prices are appropriate Cola and Sprite under 2 €. The waiters always immediately everything cleared away and made for a decent looks in the dining room.

The staff were always very open minded and friendly. The rooms were always cleaned every day except sundays.

The hotel is open-plan on built, one has no perceived as large on the spot is possible, but there are rather together gereihte bungalows, either with a terrace or balcony, usually with a view to the pool. The guest structure was a colorful mix however too many found one German tourist for. The staff in the hotel could perfectly to English, but also with German is you have a good piece forward, they were very tried herself in German explain. We had our vacation booked half board and were completely satisfied. In case in the afternoon the small hunger blew one could sit in the snack bar a little to order food. The value for money was in top proportion the quantity of the food which was served. All meals were freshly prepared.

The distance to the beach fraud approximately 500 meters so between and minutes hike, on a wide paved on foot. The beach was a nice and clean sandy beach, we were almost every day there and it was never crowded, there's always a good place. 2 loungers and a sun screen arrived on day 5 €. The best is the friday the it makes you a extra stop in a small pretty greek village. Early in the morning you by bus from the hotel and in the late evening again brought. Apart from that you can the island with the scooter, quad, car or strandbaggi explore. Everything is in the hotel reserved. We felt a car rented for 30 €on the day. However you should watch out 23-years-old is. We had the problem we were not so there is no risk for the car. The quad costs between and €, the strandbaggi from 50 €and the scooter 25 €. As an excursion destination to itself explore is the town plaka recommendable this is a nature park where you free-range peacocks can see. Or you drove to kefalos to the large mill the a German family operates where it delicious homemade cakes returns.

The room was for a hotel room large and newly renovated. We had a superior room. With hair dryer, air conditioning, tv, small terrace balcony, telephone, safe (9 days 10 Euro), everything you need, was available.

The restaurant, was relatively large. We are always on 20 hours eat out, as previously it was very busy and partially people on the side had to wait, until a place was free. The food was okay. There was always/two internationalegerichte and greek dishes with a side dish. Furthermore there was a salad buffet, that more than enough was. There was always a dessert and a sort of fruit to the dessert. The prices a drink were ok. The breakfast was also okay. There were several kinds of jams, nutella, honey, quark, rolls, muesli, a sort of eggs (hard boiled, fried egg) or desserts. There were three different types of sausage and every day a, the same sort of cheese. This was I personally in cheese too few. Furthermore I found it unfortunately, there is a fruit at the breakfast buffet and this was from the can ( peaches). The restaurant was always clean. The waiters have immediately cleared, if one were finished. The cutlery one at the buffet from a besteckkörbchen selbstherausgenommen. We found it not so good, that there is no precise failing was. We are gladly along for the evening, but it was people they came with the beach clothes for dinner.

The reception staff were very friendly. Nevertheless we found it a great shame, that the staff more effort to speak German, as their own language. ( I mean the greetings' good morning 'or' hello ') but that was always a topic for itself ;-) The rest of the staff, at the bar, in the restaurant or the cleaning ladies were always friendly. The cleaning of the rooms was fine, if it was not very hard to see, the reasonable. Complaints we had no.

Over sporting activities we can't statement make. In the lobby and bar area gave it wi-fi. Furthermore there are two computer with access to the internet. To the pool we can't auskungz soutenant, this we didn't use. We were every day at the beach. This is very nice and clean, however rather with chairs cluttered, at the beach was always a wind, which sometimes was already unpleasant. Two loungers and a umbrella cost 5 Euro.

The hotel consists of several buildings, the two-storied were. There are 92 room. The complex makes a very clean and maintained impression. There is a restaurant with a small outdoor terrace, by the breakfast and dinner is served. A lobby and a bar. We were altogether 9 days by hotel and booked half-board. The types of people were very mixed. An age of around 18 to 55 years. Small groups, couple and also families. There were mainly German guests in the hotel.

The hotel lies fairly quiet and is one of the last hotels in the street. To the beach it are around 400 to 500 meters, we are about 8 minutes' walk. Our transfer time from the airport to the hotel took about 40 minutes and back from the hotel to the airport circa 20 minutes =) if you out of the hotel is, is on the left hand side a large supermarket, by all necessary get. Right hand, is a long street along to the beach. Here you could get to different supermarkets, autohändlern, bars and hotels past. Marmari is nevertheless a very quiet city. Nevertheless there are evenings for a comfortable cocktail possibilities to go out. There are also some stalls, where excursions can be booked. We booked this didn't use it. We are by bus ( per drive per person 2 Euro) in Kos (city) went. This is very recommendable, there, there are some watch. Otherwise we have for one day (30 Euro in the hotel) a car booked. This was however not the best car, very old and we had the feeling, that each moment is falling apart =).
