The staff were very friendly, competent and ready to help. The rooms were very nice designed with a great view on the Donau. The food was every evening delicious. We felt very comfortable and felt very much at ease.

Very nice location as Ausgangespunkt for beautiful cycling on the banks of the Danube.
On the first glance quite properly it hotel, but you will not be allowed closer look. The pool was not to use. read more

As already last year a beautiful relaxation from the 4000 Urlaubskilometern in Croatia. A well-kept hotel with good food, friendly staff and a beautiful dining room. We definitely go at the latest again next year. read more

There is not much we complain about. A bit more variety for the food. The food itself was excellent. A small downer was, that the indoor pool, which is not in possession of the hotel is, and for the guests was closed. The hotelier this has has embarked with free passes to the indoor and outdoor pool in of gottsdorf. This is the morning swim before breakfast but not replaced. This condition is the hotelier next year abolish. He has already above the hotel a estate acquired, where it until next year a wellness area set up.
The hotel lies ... on a hill on the edge of Obernzell offers, the view of the Donau is probably unbeatable.

We have as a family 7 days in the Fohlenhof spent. We liked it a lot of fun made. The location of the hotel is excellent, with a stunning view of the terrace on upper cell and the Donau. There are a lot of things to do but relax, depending upon desire and mood! We stayed 2 years ago there and definitely again go there! Really recommendable for families, for couples, for hikers, cyclists, for loafers, for newlyweds and so on, and so on.

We were for the third time in this hotel. It was just dirty. The crumbs of the breakfast were also 3 days later on the floor. In the staircase were still 4 days later perished mosquitoes, after a complaint was I asked, whether I might not have time to clean. There was far from enough staff. The food the first three days delivered and didn't taste good at all. Afterwards it was ok, since it was cooked. The room was only after repeated complaint after about 3 days the 1st time vaccumed. Z
To pool area: the 1st day we ... arrived in the toilet klopapierschnipsel on the floor, even after complaints only thursday, the are 6 days after arrival! Being cleaned were. The dressing area was sandy and the whole time not cleaned. read more

I have on eBay the all inclusive-program for this hotel bought (3 night ). The hotel is very nicely located and you have a great view on the Donau. Super, if one much on the way is (Passau only 15 kilometer away). Unfortunately, you can in the hotel ( the three stars were valid until 2007) not really healthy diet, as it mainly fried and greasy dinner returns. The salad and the soup for lunch is the same as the evening. Cakes there was always the same. The breakfast was all right, however there is in the area enough tables ..., so that a couples to an unknown guest had to-a shame, because there are still 2 further dining rooms have been. Really beautiful terrace with a lot of sun and a magnificent view on upper cell. Room (junior suite ) reasonable, large, with a small kitchen ( but we didn't need, in my opinion not necessary), double bed were 2 single beds on wheels pushed together, small TV about 5 meters away of the bed, so I bed from nothing more seen, actually nice balcony( unfortunately, the probably just renovated-the floor was torn, bathroom a bit small, small window the hallway, cleanliness okay. The room unfortunately only 2 days after our journey for the first time cleaned and the towels exchanged ( for 2 people 2 bath towels, 1 towel, 1 floor towel), one should already every day fresh towels get, since you often shower. Staff were very friendly. In my opinion is worthwhile all inclusive for this hotel not, the money in healthier and fresher dinner invest, during the day were the majority of the guests anyway on the way. In the ' wellness area' I am not gone, the indoor pool has very of chlorine smell, so that I almost breath was stuck. Those were my impressions, to the eBay -price it was OK, but I have stayed in cheaper hotels was, in total a bessseren impression left. I hope, that the hotel more from makes, because the location is great! At the Moment however I can personally the hotel not recommend. read more

This was a great stay. Close proximity to city Passau and the idyllic landscape made this vacation to the one-time experience. Also the hotel invites you to feel at home in. The panorama hotel Fohlenhof was really a worthwhile investment. read more

Despite low season we felt in the hotel welcome and had a great time there. We were 5 adults women (mother, 4 daughters), than rooms, we got a triple room with connection a double room, which comfortable evenings made possible.
We can recommend the hotel and would anytime again come.
