Hotel Jama^{(3 stars)}

This 3-star hotel is located only some steps from the entrance to the world famous Postojna Cave. The city center is about 4 km far which can be reached by a mini-trail or by car. In front of the hotel there is a big parking place which is free for the hotel guests. Besides the Postojna Cave, there are other great possibilities to make excursions in the surroundings such as Predjama Castle and cave (9 kms N from the hotel) and there are other, less known caves as well. The hotel building itself seems a bit out of fashion, built ... in the 60s-70s style. Below the hotel there are several small restaurants, some of them self-service, and also cafeterias and a lot of souvenir shops. I found them a bit expensive regarding the choice and quality. The food was not too delicious in my point of view and they do not offer any special dishes. read more
