A vacation the residencia is relaxation in perfection. Architecturally a dreamlike facilities. Very tastefully and stylishly furnished. The many long-standing staff team offer a completely perfect service in the restaurant like in the rooms. The warm and competent team at the front desk is in our opinion hardly to exceed. The kitchen always excellent. Especially worth mentioning is the extraordinary hospitality the always and everywhere is to be felt. We are now already for the 5. time the residencia and for us it's always an arrival in a small paradise. This hotel we could each of the peace and quiet ... searches highly recommend. Because of the five, very nearby golf courses for golfers outstanding suitable. We are already looking forward to our next stay. Hotel meets the expectations the one at a hotel in the five stars area is. As expected the average age was high, with a few younger guests. Mostly german, dutch, english. Extremely accommodating staff, particularly at the front desk, breakfast and dinner. The staff at the pool restaurant could have been a bit quicker. During dinner i would prefer a or maximum two waiters for the table allocated. Here you will a variety of service, this is despite all the attention a shame since the personal service is lost. The kitchen is the level accordingly and the portions accordingly well ... arranged. The staff are multi-lingual, but also an opportunity with the existing spanish waiters in spanish to converse. read more

We have already been for the 2. time there. It is a wonderful hotel. It is therefore, that it is small hotel regarding size and architecture genially from the ' big ugly box ' in the area flights. The cuisine is excellent and towards our first stay once again a clear qualitative leap upward made. This applies in particular to the dinner was a part of halbpensionsbuchung (regularly 4-course menu with many options per course). Special highlight here is the twice per week held barbecue evening, the has everything was. The heated seawater outdoor pool (32 °c), and the large ... fresh water swimming pool, the swimming in the december very pleasant. We recommend this hotel all our friends and famous fully. read more

Well run hotel with attractive architecture, very good service good gastronomy. What you need to know- Guest structure: 90% germans retirees 70+, lots of regular guests ( long-term a problem for the building). Pool area: 70% of the chairs from 7:00 A. M. 'reserved', very annoying, since enough chairs are available ( the staff helps gladly against appropriate tip). Privacy: by the pool and on the restaurant terrace not available, since everything was very closely at the time. Spa/fitness: outdated, is not current standard, is but also hardly used (S. Age structure). Room: tastefully decorated, but very dark. In ... short: ideal hotel for seniors, the absolute peace search. read more

Recommendable hotel. Pool area and garden are very nice and tidy, however relatively small. Pool beach chairs are already in the early morning with the help of the pool employees occupied-a affige and typical teuton behavior. The service at the pool could be better. The pool employee is in the afternoon far from enough present. The waiters in the main restaurant is hard and attentive. For breakfast should the remote plates and so on junkie to be cleared. This also applies for dinner, if the buffet offered. Room and decoration and the maid service was adequate for a leading -hotel. ... However is zimmerzwischentüre not allowed. Absolute top marks is due to mr tesch, the manager of the hotel. It is for higher duties fully suitable. read more

The approximately 100 rooms on several zweigeschossige bungalows spread, all hidden in the beautiful, very well maintained gardens are. Privacy is important here!     I have the 'basic' room type booked, facing the land side, as the website is. The interested Google-maps-users, they had already, that this may mean : to the street. This is however 1. during the day very little and at night time not at all busy and 2. the lush garden hidden. From the spacious balcony i only on palms and garden seen, a noise i in no way noted. The room itself was very spacious and extremely tastefully decorated. And heavenly quiet! I have seldom on vacation right at the beginning so a good nights sleep!

    A fantastic breakfast buffet, in the great weather invites, half the morning on the terrace to spend and in peace to start the day! The dinner as part of the half board offers a four-course menu (no buffet, thanks!) With two to three choices. Very creative and high outstanding kitchen! An absolute highlight! Remarkably also the extremely imaginative vegetarian alternative every evening. The wine list offers good choice & reasonable prices.

    The staff i was extremely friendly, welcoming and thinking to us. In my very late arrival (about 11:30 p. m.) beach in my room next to fruits and water a large plates ham & cheese with antipasti ready. Unfortunately, i had to on the final day also very early again (about 04:00 a. m.)-demand would have the front desk also here a small breakfast made possible. Great! A requirement for a mitbringsels was completely unproblematic and fulfilled directly.

    The Grand Hotel Residencia is tucked away in a palm oasis and bordered - thank god and perfectly with good reason - from the rest of the Maspalomas from, still from the or other bunker past decades dominated. From the outside hardly any as a hotel to see, it is only about 5-minute walk from the beach and the famous dunes.

The hotel was recommended to us by the travel agent ( UTS Touristic in Cologne ). The travel agent advised the hotel service was very good, as she put it: They read your wishes before you said them aloud. I was wondering how it was possible in reality. Only when we arrived to the hotel and then started our first days at it I understood what our travel agent had in mind. We normally stay at 5+ stars hotels when travelling for pleasure. However, that was the first time I experienced that high level of service. Whenever I and my ... wife for something, our wish was always over-fulfilled. The staff is real friendly without beeing intrusive. And the crown of the hotel service team is the hotel manager. That was our first experience to see the hotel General Manager personally serving 5 o'clock tee and greeting guests personally at the dinner, making sure literally everyone was comfortably seated and got all his wishes satisfied. The hotel territory is not large, is mainained to the perfection with the lush manicured tropical garden. We started our day excesising at the gym at 8-30 in the morning and that was the first time we were seeing general manager each day. Looks like he had time to be all over the hotel to take care of everything. When I wanted to surprise my wife and asked him for a tip, he made sure a local Canarian fish was delivered to our fairwell dinner and was perfectly cooked in salt. The restaurant requires a separate chapter. They have a Michelin star chef and for a very good reason - the cuisine is superb! And we made pleasant acquitances with a German and two British couples that added to the pleasure of our stay. The wonderful and well-kept complex is rather small and has about 100 room. The garden is very well maintained and in spite of the heat is lots of plants, of cacti up to flowering plants. Off course everything is clean and very well maintained. My knowledge you can than food breakfast or half board book. The guests were to 70% German, the rest came from England. The average age mostly over 60. read more

    The rooms were nicely furnished and large and very comfortable beds. Air conditioning, tv, safe, mini bar, fruit bowl, water and a large closet wore also to be comfortable with. The bathroom was very nice and offers enough shelf space. Some bathroom even had a bath tub with integrated door, so the older guests a lighter entrance had. Everything was very clean and made a new impression. Everything was quiet and you from neighboring rooms heard nothing.

    The breakfast consisted of a very rich buffet. Because we very good weather had, we could always on the wonderful terrace breakfast and views on the mountains enjoy. The selection of dishes ranged from fish, fresh bread and rolls, croissants, all imaginable egg dishes, fresh waffles and pancakes to fresh fruit and freshly squeezed juices. Everything was very nice arranged and continuously were the dishes refilled. The dinner in the same restaurant taken, however not in buffet-form. The menu consisted of four courses; with every course, you could between two or three alternative choose. Everything was delicious and very nicely arranged. The atmosphere was pleasant, quiet and relaxed, although very well maintained. We always had lunch more often in of the pool bar eaten. The menu contained a good selection of different dishes. However we found here the prices as a little too high.

    The staff in the hotel was outstanding. Very friendly, very hard and very personal. To shortest time you were recognized, and the room number you had to hardly mention. Except for a few exceptions ( pool service and cleaning staff) was from the staff several languages spoken, so actually all the guests in their mother tongue care could. The cleaning of the rooms was cleaned daily, and they also water and fresh fruits in the room made available. Next to the cleaning of the rooms there was also a turn down -service.

However you should 'be careful', since approximately 800 meters the nudist area begins, the also almost to to Playa del Ingles attracts. Evenings there were in the hotel always a musical accompaniment in the bar, the however at o'clock to end was. The music ranged from piano on latin american rhytmen to '60s and 70s'.

    The shuttle from the airport takes about 30 minutes. We were greeted by a private drive picked up, which very pleasant was. The complex is not directly at the beach, but in 5 minutes you can on foot very simple go. Shops and the beautiful promenade of Meloneras are easily reached on foot. Who however you are looking for party, the plentiful available the taxis to Playa del Ingles drive (taxis are generally very cheap). From the hotel gives we have a circular flight with the helicopter-not cheap but very recommendable =)

A top hotel with class service. Already on arrival you will friendly and accommodating welcome. Room and facilitities are super well-kept.
