The hotel was great for a city break. The employees were super nice and helpful. The shuttle to the bus stop also has always worked well and we felt good overall. We will the next time in New York definitely book this hotel again! Thank you very much for a great time in the Holiday Inn hasbrouck hights.
Ps:we had the ' state shuttle ' from Newark airport to the hotel booked, the worked great. read more

The hotel is a typical american middle class hotel. The rooms are clean and big enough. Equipped with a hair dryer, fridge, microwave and coffee maker including coffee. Wi-fi available. Coffee in the lobby also free. The restaurant in the hotel is also okay. Convenient :McDonald's borders directly at the hotel. Lots of german guests of all ages. Mostly friendly staff. read more

With the shuttle and the 163 local or 16. good connection to the Port Authority bus stop. With the shuttle, the 76. and the 62 an inexpensive but long-term alternative to Newark airport.
The maids could be a bit more thoroughly, but only for sleeping it was enough. Especially in the run up to christmas, it is beautiful from the bus stop the 20 minutes walk to the hotel and the christmas lights the front yards to look at!
Except for a bus driver the staff were super nice! read more

We were very satisfied and would definitely come again. We were welcomed in a friendly manner and also the check-out worked perfectly. In the hotel there are the whole day coffee kostenls. In the morning you get in the week a newspaper at the door. The hotel offers a free shuttle, a to 2 malls and to the bus stop from the bus to New York goes. The hotel is very cozy, we can only recommend it! read more

We were very satisfied with the hotel. The staff at reception was one of the nicest we have ever experienced. The airline lost on the flight the bags my friend, where its winter jacket inside stowed away was. So we arrived on the first evening without jacket in the hotel at. As the suitcase on the 2. day not showed up, there was a lady from the reception your private jacket my friend, so that it was not in the t-shirt out had. For the farewell we also completely fixed hugs and all the best desired.
Breakfast in the hotel ... we only tried once and were also satisfied. The pancakes were very big and the portion for one person not to create!
The room was with 2 beds very big and spacious! Only was missing at a wardrobe. But when 5 days you can easily live out of a suitcase.-)
The shuttle service to the bus stop is not so good. We were a bit disappointed! It was called, the shuttle would every half an hour and when it was ready, we were told by the driver, that he still which to settle and only 10-15 minutes later start would. So we are always on foot the bus stop gone, but even not a problem and very easy to find was! On the way there was a small store, the delicious bagels sold! Particularly the blüberry bagels with the bluberry cream cheese are very recommendable. As we Lincoln tunnel unfortunately always unlucky, took the way to Manhattan gladly times 45-50 minutes. read more

The hotel isn't very big and because of this very comfortable. Everything is very clean and tidy. Wi-fi and coffee the whole day inclusive. All 30 minutes there is a free shuttle bus from the hotel the bus stop in the town. From there about the 10 minutes buses (line 163 and 164) to Port Authority. The first ticket you can always directly with the bus driver buy. At the bus terminal on the switch (at the bottom of the terminal) for the rest of the stay to buy (is cheaper) the bus station is right on the Times Square ..., so you were directly in the turmoil.
Until 11 o'clock at night one is i again from the bus stop by the shuttle picked us up. You just had to the gas station you in the Holiday Inn want, they know mostly already the you should call if you started comes. However definitely not rush, that one until 23 o'clock back! The way is on foot absolutely no problem! read more

My 3. visit in this hotel - as always spotless. Cleanliness and service was perfect - the price of course. As often described, it is a bit out of the way, but for vacationers, the time you can get a good insight into the lives of americans-in the suburbs of the city life.
With this hotel can't go wrong. read more

Great hotel to the weihnachtsshopping in New York

Great hotel, very clean, very good service, huge beds, large bathroom. Orgens there was a newspaper, in the room and next to the reception free really good coffee.
Just great, we were really well and felt us from the extremely-shopping in New York every night really good relaxed.
We are on the jfk airport landed. Direct flight Airberlin with good service. From the airport one comes with the airport shuttle for 16 Dollar/person to the authority port (central bus station). Tickets either directly in the bus or in the scout before airportausgang, visible on the green jacket buy.
Transfers to ... from the authority port of gate 224 (from 10:00 p. m. of gate 409) by bus number 164 or 163 (restaurant not express!) For circa 4,50 Dollar for williams avenue for hasbrouck heights. At the best one before the driver point out, that you want to get off, then he says the station also loud. You have to the red button on dodge, otherwise the bus not ☺
Do not be surprised, the bus goes once forever, until the first regular station. U d the luggages stowed the driver in the luggage storage. They can't with the bus.
If you stepped out is, is located on the right BP-gas station. The attendant ask, in the hotel to call (no fear, this is with the hotel so agreed) and then comes the free hotel-shuttle (but the driver is looking forward for a tip-you can, but you didn't have to).
From 11:00 p. m. costs the shuttle 10 Dollar per ride. The gas station not occupied anymore and you should the hotel-tel. Point squeeze.
Walk about 15 minutes downhill, which is behind the gas station right the road down, to the highway and then simply right long run. The hotel is located behind the mac donalds.
Each morning with the hotel-shuttle back to the gas station and from there by bus further to New York City.
For the bus the ticket directly at the driver resolved. The best return solve, since the authority port you can't. You have to the desk and waited there possibly forever.
The way back from the hotel to the airport is similar to the way. Again with the hotel-shuttle to the gas station from there by bus to the authority port. The air port shuttle runs behind the authority port in the 43. street/between 8. and 9. avenue los. Costs again 16 $per person. The driver will bring you directly to the check-in counters of Air Berlin or any other airline. You must only grudgingly with which airline you fly, he will ask.
If you are planning for the luggage with a taxi from the hotel from to drive you forget it again. The costs so around the 180 $. Even if it cheaper than 16 €want to go, the possibility with the train. Forget but also the. You need four or five times change. And the everything would then also 8. Dollar costs.
Drive just back in time to the airport! They need endless, until the security checks have been through. 2 hours before are too few!
The authority port is everything possible in New York City. The visiter center is in the immediate vicinity. There you can either tickets for the city tour, hop on hop off bus and so on. Acquire or your ticket from in Germany excursions booked cash.
In any case you should as little as possible bags to New York bring. And really important are super comfortable shoes. If you however not thereby there were enough shoe shops, where you-like me-what comfortable find.
Just around the christmas season there is in all stores complete offers.
But there is definitely at the upper limit for 430 $shopping. The german customs is mercilessly, also all invoices fuss, otherwise a pair of trousers, for you 20 Dollar paid quickly time on 100 Dollar estimated.
Book best of all excursions package Germany from. It is in my opinion considerably cheaper.
The city tour was interesting but the tour guide was a pill. You know but always only afterwards. However in the bus we had as in many shops wi-fi.
We received the best info to the city and people in the hop-on buses, since however only in english.
Look at tiffanys past and of course you must with abercrombie and fitch and Victoria Secret shopping! And one must a Hot Dog on Time Square food!
If a outlet to visit want, then go in New Jersey garden (from the authority port gate 222 bus 111). The is worthwhile really. Over 200 shops wait on you. The bus there was banging fully, the way but not very long.
At the entrance show your card and receive a new york a coupon booklet with rich percentage.
Wish you a great stay in this funky town! We were endlessly impressed! read more

The food was okay. The prices there are something increased however still okay. In the morning we at McDonald's ( next door) or directly in New York breakfast.
Because of the good price-performance -proportion, we could this hotel for travel to New York recommend. read more

We were now to 4. time in this hotel and are thrilled time after time. A great and motivated team is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and spacious. Everything is there, that you need. The location is great - by bus one drives for 8.50$ there and back in 50 minutes to Manhattan. In the area you find everything you need, also a large mall and a outlet center. We would again and again stay here! read more

This hotel was the starting point of our booked coach tour ' impressions of the eastern coast'.
The hotel itself was good, but the location is absolutely bad. Far off the beaten track, no shopping opportunities in the area, the distance to Moda Shopping extremely far. By bus you drove about 45 minutes.
Since our reservation on the part of the tour operator the round trip silty was, we got only the last room in the apart from that completely fully booked hotel - a Faucherzimmer. Everything smelled extremely after smoke, even the bed and the bed linen. You could ... almost not beat.
Against the breakfast was really great.
In short: because of he location not recommendable, since it may still be so cheap. read more

Location of the hotel is ungünstg but inexpensive, transport at night from the bus station worked not always good. We had 2 times about 1 hour the hotel transport wait, therefore the way to inquire and the way on foot go ( about 20 minutes on foot)
With the airport transfer it is quite expensive; under 120 $you will probably not to the hotel come; if one is not been versed it is with luggage very difficult for the first time the right Bussteig to find therefore I would recommend a transfer with Limmo to book: rate of private drivers ... at the airport from our driver requires 30 $more than agreed what were to an extreme controversy and the mood on arrival very foggy
Food:
The restaurants in the environment of the hotel are suitable for the hunger better, you can get on the bus station have breakfast
What afterwards a little annoyed me was, that when checking out 20 $for pay TV have been asked for, although we didn't movie watched (probably we accidentally left in the menu side ) therefore think about, what you at TV pressed!
Right nearby to the bus station were us tickets for hop and top bus offered (blue line)
We have for 2 days Updown and Dowtour inclusive boat trip to Manhattan 50 €pay for what I very cheap feel in comparison to the online reservations was the in any case a right decision, as you will quickly Fußlahm
New York was great however we found especially the gastronomy a catastrophe read more

Free transfer to the bus to New York City and mall worked perfect. Food, price and service in the restaurant are absolutely great. Big portions and great quality in nice atmosphere. Room large and quiet. Free -Wi-Fi available. Running time to New York City $8.50 (return). The drive is great for the excitement and perfect for the come down from New York. One of the malls are per drive $1.50. Transfer from the airport JFK to the hotel took depending on traffic about 1 hour with the taxi and costs included tip $150, -. With 3 persons with ... luggage was, with a so favorable hotel, a worthwhile investment. Without stress and with good entertainment and great information about New York overlooking the skyline. With public transport is also there, of course-that was already enough written. read more
