We have in this hotel our honeymoon and did not regret it. We can only positive about the country and people say. The Sandy lane field is for ruheuhe searching an oasis of wellbeing. The food true for a 3 star hotel very good. The service was very good, with a nice smile and a thank you very much you could make a difference. There are some rock and in the water, however not so much, the schrandschuhe mandatory were. We booked through Neckermann excursions and we had large luck, our travel guide Giovanni was, he gave us a lot ... of interesting about the country and people told. The massages, the beauty area are very relaxing and can only be recommended. In short, for us it was a very relaxing and a vacation to remember read more

The hotel is beautiful. The staff in the restaurant is also very helpful, but you should not expect too much, the breakfast and the dinner are few varied but you could always find something! The beach is clean but the swimming area is a total catastrophe, only rock and defined to the sea back so that you approximately 20 meters far to swim! Respect for it is definitely necessary that you bathing shoe attracts! read more

Good hotel for a simple vacation with drawbacks in particular beach and possibilities to go swimming. Not the dream beaches from the postcards. Monotonous breakfast. Clean rooms without any bugs. Staff with a few exceptions very friendly and helpful, whereas you get the feeling, that guests, the french speak, are preferred. Knowledge of german are almost not available. The chairs at the beach before the privilegbereich are too compact and hard in the sand to maneuver. Especially annoying is, that one as all inclusive-guest also constantly everything has to sign. With a 'cognitional wristband' would be here really easy to ... remedy. Hour long wait after the overnight flight to the room - and in the final outcome you can get after a complaint then nevertheless another free. Why not just? read more

We were the two weeks always loved it! The staff are very hard-working access to the particular wishes to fulfill. In the evening it came to the past bar to short waiting times what we however not when disturbing felt, since the cocktails delicious were. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a half-open bathroom which room an exotic touch gives. The food was very good and diverse, in the all inclusive-package, there were also various sandwiches at the pool bar, as well as coffee and nachmittagssnacks included. Directly in front of the hotel there were a bus stop from ... very cheap in the capital Port Louis or in the north to grand baie respectively one of the beautiful public beaches drive could. Alltogether a very nice vacation, we immediately repeat would! read more

Very tasteful decor of the hotel. Hotel staff was always there for you. Very versatile and interesting country. We are impressed by the lush and paradise nature, mixed culture and open people. Beach in front of the hotel is good; but if you walked like to, you can find more beautiful beaches in trou aux biches. We have every second day excursion made, so we had the country across and traveled. Otherwise, nowhere we had so many contacts with locals, like Maritius, the very friendly and fun! Unforgettable expedition! read more

Nice hotel in a peaceful location, there is no complaints what cleanliness, food, facilities regards. Only the beach is not quite as nice, quite coarse and the sea is on hotel beach not so nice (dead corals etc..) Bus station and taxi rank directly in front of the hotel, from there you can very well on own fist (and cheap!) go on excursions! Crew is also extremely nice and friendly. Altogether: absolutely positive! read more

Veranda pointe aux biches is a smaller hotel and postal to pointe aux piments, but is really trou aux biches, where you also with the regular bus (from Port Louis or grand baie from) drive must. During our travels of middle to end of August 2012 were the hotel guests quite mixed. The most part of the guests formed french, German and English. Apart from that there were some guests from the scandinavian countries, the Netherlands, Russia, China and other states, thus multicolored mixed. It were lots of families with small children on location. The hotel is really child-friendly. read more

    The room was sufficient for two people. The bed was nice and wide, wider than a' normal' french bed. The mattress was unfortunately somewhat too soft. My husband turned over, I waggled and vice versa. The in the first couple nights too much restless sleep run. Otherwise the walls are pretty thin, you can hear the telephone in the neighboring room ring, you can hear voices and above all disturb the many hit doors and the roll over the dishes and wäschewägen by the staff. Otherwise was our front door in the direction street and was not really close. One has the whole noise from the parking and the street with rating. We felt so arranged and I evenings plug into the ears felt cramped. Apart from that our room maid (as mentioned above) cleaned very well and daily the towels were changed, although we actually not at all wanted.

    We have during our stay in the hotel only in the buffet restaurant the meal times restaurant (always with a sea view!). There is a à la carte restaurant, which we did not visit however. Otherwise there are two bars, the foot-loose bar and the sandy-lane bar. The latter we didn't visited. In the foot-loose bar (right next to the buffet restaurant) we almost daily cocktails drunk, mostly delicious were. The food was altogether good, the choice of meals also. It was almost always somewhat tasty for everyone. What the food subject, we only a point of criticism, but on some days to come. Lots of dishes with coriander and lemon grass seasoned. Against is in principle no objection to that, finally, it is in Maritius so tradition and will probably often used. What we (as non-lovers this spices) didn't like, was, that the chefs on some days very wasteful especially with the coriander handled and almost everything afterwards tasted. We then already after the open the cover (in hot dishes) the nose over and immediately closed. After a few days in the hotel we could the coriander not smell it anymore and not at all taste. We have no later than 3. or fourth day any dish avoided, also only ansatzweise afterwards smelled or tasted. That was however the only fault. Apart from that all of the dishes were delicious arranged and the dishes without coriander respectively lemongrass we were almost all good. The rest is the personal taste, for the hotel nothing can. Unfortunately occurs to me another point of criticism concerning the buffet-style restaurant a, the us now and then bother us. During the day there are in the hotel complex very lots of birds, especially sparrows, but also yellow webervögel and other, which gladly and often at the tables and also at the buffet serve. It's not so bad, one may evenly his plate ( for example with the breakfast) not alone leave, otherwise one had quickly a few blackhead at the table. What we didn't like, were the leftovers the sweet female birdies. The birds shall of course everywhere and the necessary simply fall. This looks (and feel) you especially at the wicker chairs, where the backrests and seats already quite with bird poo are dirty. We would have liked, that the staff much more frequent the chairs was clean. Not only it is happened, that the clothes with bird droppings was soiled. This couldn't be.

    So I can only the full strars rating. All hotel staff were great, really friendly, helpful and always smiling. Every greets a friendly, often, you asked, wether everything is okay and it goes well. We also have several times from the reception calls to the room get, with the question, whether everything okay or, whether it some complaints there. The cleaning of the rooms was excellent. ranee, our room maid, was very nice and us every day from towels formed animals in our bed gezaubert. It was also, as we had stomach problems, with help and advice. Unfortunately speak not all officials a good English, although English on Maritius is an official language and that actually might expect. The is however not so, the population too many morisyen, that is the mauritian kreolsprache, or french. English is spoken (English school system), but from the people don't like spoken. You are on Maritius rather the french heritage connected. The employees at the reception of the hotel control but a very good English, there were (unlike partly restaurant) no language problems.

    The entertainment runs very soft from. We have very little hear a thing. My husband has several times (in very nice, international round ) beach volleyball played. But there are also other things as water aerobics in the pool or test in the pool etc. Offered. All activities can one on a large board read, the on the way in the direction restaurant is. There is also the current weather dates, bus timetables and much more. There was a kids club, which we lack child didn't need and, therefore, on its quality nothing statements could. Evenings always found a evening entertainment. Several times came musicians to the hotel, the already during dinner played have. Once was an excellent guitarist and singer at the foot-loose bar, the us very good. From time to time there was also dance performances etc. In the reception area there are wi-fi, what some guests with brought laptops and smartphones use. Apart from that for 250 rupees/half hour at a computer, to the internet to use. Chairs and umbrellas are at the pool and the beach in sufficient number available. Unfortunately the water is in the small bay rather cloudy and now in August it was very fresh (african winter!). Especially the pool was lousy cold. I was only a only in it, I must admit, and have terrible chattered. Is only for football diehards. If you 15 to 20 minutes ( to the left) for trou aux biches beach runs ( or with the bus drives), has a great fine sandy beach with crystal clear water. We cannot definitely recommend. The way is worthwhile.

    As mentioned, belongs the hotel the extensive site trou aux biches and is directly at a coarse beach. However is the really beautiful ( fine sandy ) beach of trou aux biches in 15 to 12-minute walk from the hotel to reach, which we have on several occasions made. The transfer time from the airport in the south from Maritius took about half an hour. Opposite the hotel there is a taxi rank and some souvenir shops. Further shops you, if you in front of the hotel to the left in the direction pointe aux allspice is, but especially the largest holiday centre in the north the island, in grand baie. The place is easily accessible by bus respectively with the hotel shuttle (2 days in advance!) to reach.

Positive - snorkeling/ Strolling: 3 times a week there is a small bus to the neighboring Grand Baie, where you about 4 hours wonderful could go for a stroll. In addition the hotel offers ( also 3 times a week) a snorkel-trip after trou aux biches on. If you don't snorkeling would, the underwater world also on the embedded glass bottom in the boat look at. -pleasant sleep Since we relaxation longed for have, we have the private rooms booked. This area is a bit secluded from remaining rooms and even if at the bar still powerful to loud music ... dancing and celebrating, you can hear no noise at all. Really recommendable! Negative - very many mosquitoes During the day one noticed rather rare, but as soon as it's dawning, the mosquitoes in droves on the beach and the grounds of the complex ago. So if you after sunset in the open to (this includes the buffet in the evening) should not without mosquito repellent the room leave. - staff partly overstrained: If you are looking for a clean dining seat, as well as fast its drinks like, should the buffet lunch (12 until 15 o'clock) and evening buffet (19 until 21 o'clock) either directly to the beginning or within the last hour. Apart from that it lasts gladly up to 20 minutes to new cutlery and the ordered drinks be brought. - annoying beach Vendors From Monday-saturday from 8 until 16 o'clock a small squad consisting of 2-3 men diligent the beach section of the hotel up and down and natter every new hotel guest to, various daytrips to sell. Al we to third time politely declined, we were no longer mentioned, but really every guest and has been raised several times, we could after about 4 days the whole excursion offers outs without it we only once personally listened to have. This hotel does what the catalog, web pages and guest reviews promised. It is a very beautiful area for a quiet beach vacation. The staff are super friendly, in particular children. The beverages in the hotel are very expensive and in the opposite supermarket also. read more

    Room approximately 35 meters² large, with air-conditioning, tv (only french and english program), balcony respectively terrace, mini bar, coffee and tea making facilities, telephone and safe. The bathroom is open to the rest of the room, with the blinds seperated, with a shower equipped and individually locked toilet. There is also freshly renovated room so-called privilege rooms, they had a flat screen and are new equipped. Then there are the family rooms with a bedroom and a room for the kids with bunk bed.

    In the hotel there is a main restaurant, a sandylane grill, the lazypoolbar and footloosebar. The food was always varied and tasty, mainly there was however chicken and fish off course. However in between also beef. There were different salads and side dishes as pasta and potatoes. Also for lunch there were and from time to time evenings pizza for the kids. The desserts buffet was however the non-plus-ultra. Everything very delicious! The used plates, as well as later the tables were immediately cleared and cleaned, and afterwards again newly restocked.

    The staff speaks french and english. All are really friendly, regards always and grin actually for the whole day as honigkuchenpferde. You could get along with german on the island not very far. The cleaning of the rooms was every day perfect, there were also every day another towel animal on the bed. Simply beautiful. Also in the hotel there are the possibility laundry wash to let, a doctor to konsuliteren or a babysitter to organize. Complaints, was handled immediately and solved immediately.

    In the hotel there are animation, this is however not very pushy, and if you never want to do is also okay. You could beach volleyball games, to water aerobics, water polo play, Boccia games and more. There was also for the kids a kids club. In the lobby there is a wi-fi-access for free. However worked with high frequenting not always. You can but also in the hotel internet 'buy '. At the beach and at the pool there was actually always enough sunbeds with sun screens. The beach every early cleaned.

    Distance to the airport circa 1a one and a half hour drive, depending on traffic. Next place is grand baie, from the hotel approximately 10 minutes out taxi. Location of the hotel directly at the beach, although artificial poured, nevertheless very nice. To the beautiful sandy beach from troux aux biches about 20 minutes on foot, opposite of the hotel there was a small supermarket, a taxi rank and a gift shop. Excursions nearby is a sea life aquarium in pointe aux piments, from the hotel about 15 minutes on foot there. This is small and cute, but very entertaining. After pampelmousse in the botanical garden one drives with the taxi only 15 minutes

It was heavenly. Everything was right. The hotel with much taste furnished, correctly stylisch and with many pretty details. The staff accommodating, friendly and very attentive. The area and the beach unbelievably beautiful, clean and nicely planted. What I especially was estimated is the size (small, manageable), and isolation of the complex, just a gem! read more

Great hotel, also for families. Great beach, pool & bar. Something off the beaten track, but easy access to the traffic. The service first class. Everything nice and clean. The food was for children a bit hard to get used to-but top. We will (eventually) be back. read more

it was a very beautiful not too big hotel the complex will always very clean held. We had a room to the garden with a view of the sea. Had with friends was booked not a problem given that we had rooms next to each other. All inclusive it was also very good, because the prices from the drinks are very high.     there were two restaurants and the selection of a bar. Drinks was really great cocktails delicious (24 piece to choose from in all inclusive). The food was good with lunch better tasty and evenings ( evenings often Chinese and Creole). The breakfast buffet was OK, there was only one sort sausage and a variety of cheese but always fresh Omelets fried eggs and scrambled eggs as you can see. There is something for everyone of course there was also always fresh fruitthe restaurant was always very cleanafter every meal. Set.

    the staff were very friendly and accommodatingfor lunch, there was always crepes. And the waiters they brought us to the beachwith French one is clear in the advantage the staff has very good English spoken which then not a problem was. The rooms were always very tidy cleaned and every day eating a other animal from towels on our bedhad two double rooms booked. Firstly apart but it was then used not a problem to get two rooms next to each other.

    the hotel lies direct at the beach, the artificial laid out it was definitely not a dream we liked it very well. Options for shopping there was not very much on the street it has two shops given but with the taxi everything was not a problem were always in front of the hotel and maintainedthe bus connections were also very good which we have never used.

    The breakfast, lunch and dinner was very monotonous, there were hardly any variety. Plates and glasses were often dirty, the dishes mostly cold. Mostly French kitchen, probably because of mostly French clientele of. Since almost every meal with spices like cardamom lemon grass or refined, ( in my opinion very special Spices) it was noticeable to us unfortunately daily hard to find something for our taste.

    The animation in the hotel was pleasant and not pushy, for all those who relaxed vacation want. The facilities are spacious and there is something for every taste, from the cook to the lesson, of table tennis to fitness center. also there were always said sufficient available, it is at the beach, as well as by the pool. what I personally really liked, was the relaxation area with its own pool( no entry for children) and, ideal to total relaxation.

    the hotel is a bit out of the way, you can but very good by bus or taxi cabs. Bus station directly opposite the hotel. Unfortunately, the beach is not for beautiful, long beach walks suitable, since one partly on the street avoid or beach sections very strong were dirty. The hotel's own beach was rather coarse, the water mostly trueb. In general, I Mauritius beautiful presented and am of the island disappointed. Unfortunately didn't correspond to a lot of the island really put the pictures in catalogs...

We rate here because of our experiences with prestige rooms and all inclusive. nicely kept complex, beautiful garden. guests too many French. The 'prestige' part has a small beautiful pool ( no children permitted). Although the houses very close together were built, it was quiet. read more

    As' prestige ' a guest you can in the restaurant Sandy Lane à la carte eat at no additional charge. the first days we could from the menu select. the food was very good. after 6 days for 'prestige' guests an other Card introduced-smaller selection, with less expensive Food (No steak, no catch of the day) more. Despite all inclusive you pay for an espresso 3 euros. The drinks in the bar were not tasty and the house wine. But you can wine buy (very expensive). the food at the buffet in the main restaurant was all right.

    We are because of the sea to Mauritius and were very disappointed. You can only in a small demarcated part in the sea baden, as in a pond, the water was mostly cloudy. You can't really swim that far, only in the circle. Between the rocks there were stonefish. snorkeling in front of the hotel not possible. on foot you can at the beach approximately 10 to 15 minutes to the beautiful beach Troux aux biches walk.

The hotel is recommended. But you shouldn't be sensitive, even if the food partly somewhat turbulent promised, since very many families (mostly French and English) are represented here. The staff is always tried hard, to fulfill all wishes, speaks bad English and no German! Overall, the foreign country to keep it clean, if you want a real dream. But it is activity options at the hotel, as everyone was friendly! Groups and groups/individuals attends the tourists, as can we Germans a model. read more
