Very nice lodge. We were amongst others in this lodge for a safari tour. Everybody was there very friendly. Also the food was very diverse. The lodge is romantically located on a hill with a great view on the wildlife. read hotel review

Our first hotel on Kenya-Tanzania safari, real European 4 stars ( nor 5 stars though) Spacious rooms, all amenities, plenty of fresh and hot water, which is essential on a safari Very well planned architecture in the form of traditional Masai huts, though will al, possible European comfort, excellent views, as the lodge is on top of a high hill read hotel review
  • Room
    4.0

spacious, with a balcony overlooking the river or the plains, all bath amenities in place, turn down service. Room is cool enough though no aircon.

  • Gastronomy
    3.0

OK bearing in mind you are on a safari. Choice though limited -some cold cuts, several hot dishes mostly Indian and traditional, pasta station, plenty of fresh fruit and freshly pressed juices, homemade pastry

  • Service
    5.0

Good but traditionally African slow service, had to ask for a spare laundry list for 2 days However very customer oriented. We came with two other couples of friends, and due to the hotel being fully booked were placed in a crowded place for dinner. As we stayed for 3 nights, we were transferred to an excellent table on the outdoor terrace nest day and stayed there for the rest of our stay Staff immediately remembers you food and drink preferences

  • Sport & Leisure

Absolutely excellent location just on the brim of the Rift Valley, superb views to the hills and the Mara river Abundance of wildlife, the best place to view Big Cats Saw a pride of 15 lions and cubs, two cheetah families with small cubs also and cheetah's hunting and two male leopards All in two days only

The rooms tempt to linger, if you're not on safari would be would you like on the rooms stay. Great facilities, very clean bathroom (permanent change of towels, also during the day)

  • Gastronomy

The food is as it is right itself for a lodge of this kind a pleasure. Plentiful, varied. The buffet is constantly refilled and of several chefs cared for. International cuisine The cleanliness in the restaurant looks for its same. A tip box the waiters, as everywhere

We were, of Tanzania coming, still three days in Masai Mara and in Mara serena lodge. The stunning location above the Mara-river with a view of the 'infinite' long was for yourself a reason, to go. The lodge is (as almost all) very well integrated into the landscape, left and right go the rooms (a kind of cottage) from. The rooms are spacious and very lovingly decorated, the bathroom is also very clean and very clean. In the middle the lodge is a little below the beautiful pool area. Here one should absolutely times a few (or more) hour treat ... yourself. It is fantastic, this place from the animals down the river to watch. The service is in the whole complex very good. The food is also a highlight. Each in buffet form, whereas afternoons and evenings additionally meals freshly prepared were. (for example noodle bar, grill). We enjoyed our time there really enjoyed, as you between safaris are perfect to relax. Very recommendable. read hotel review
