Great hotel but disappointing breakfast!

Great, modern, clean hotel however the breakfast was rather bad. There was a bowl with fruit salad and one slice of toast with jams ( alternatively you could a Apfelküchlein choose), to coffee or orange juice. So if you a buffet is expected disappointed will (as we ;-). There was the possibility for a lot of money other à la carte to order. read more

Genial hotel in the financial district

For new York standards, a real gem. Spacious room ( this is rare find), stylishly furnished, modern and bright. At the front desk German speaking staff. 5 minutes on foot is the next Metro, one directly to Times Square drives. Also 5 minutes on foot the Monument 9/11, respectively the construction for the new Freedom tower. Still 5 minutes continued directly at the Hudson and walk around in the sun very romantic to Battery Park. For all, which may happen by accident in New York marry, the hotel is the best at. City Hall and all major offices are in ... the immediate area and easy to reach on foot. The Brookly bridge is just around the corner, as well as the historic port. To the Times Square you need about 15 minutes with the subway, somewhat longer with the taxi (28 $) If we go back to New York come, then the gild hall. So much is sure. And we will come again! Please note: the Statue of Liberty up summer 2013 restored and can't are visited. read more

Fairly new very well maintained in the boutique-style hotel, with a marble immediately felt comfortable. Overall 17 floors, the higher the quiet and airy the view. This hotel has a bar in the, a breakfast. The price for parking was too high ($20 for a a la carte breakfast), and in the evening the bar was always quite lively. read more

Very nice, new and comfortably furnished - for New York standards even quite large (at least the one of our booked deluxe category). Super comfortable bed, nice seating on the window you feel right. Besides that there were the usual available: mini-bar, hair dryer, bathrobe, slight knock ... The bathroom was surrounded by a frosted glass wall or separated from the bedroom door, nice airy idea, but at least the Americans not everyone's thing, because the edges of the stop in the bathroom looks the degrees rumturnt; -) Our view limited to the neighboring building (despite room on the 11th floor), but it was right in Manhattan very quiet. You could even open the windows.

The bar looked very nice, he had time to if we didn't use it.

Check-in/check-out went well prompt, our room was even before the official check-in time (3:00 pm) bezugsfrei. Room cleaning was also immaculate. Except for one called from on our last day we had not be used.

Different exercise facilities are available in the hotel, but we did not use and also did not watch.

Good location on the edge of the Financial District (gold St), 5 minutes to Ground Zero and Pier 17 to walk. Subway (Fulton/Nassau) also just round the corner. Right across from the hotel is an Italian restaurant, very good pizza! Although this area is dead at night, there was more local within walking area.
