We are based on the good reviews in this hotel. When we arrived there was over backwards. The hotel was in need of renovation, the furniture tired the furnishing very dirty. A well run hotel?
Especially the staff at the reception was very unfriendly, uninterested and only spoke French with a few words in German. The only concern of the staff was, we (two women) suit ravens and stupid comments to knock. The way from the main building to the beach was longer than indicated and the temperatures there very difficult. The all inclusive was rather full board with drinks. ... There was only to the meals complimentary food-everything else as snacks and pastries-you had to pay for. The cleaning lady only the towels were changed and the blanket zurechtgezupft, but not the floor or anything else swept.
For us it was very strenuous both the staff and the locals men and rid to keep at arm's length. The rest of the guests were French and 95% were clearly preferred.
Conclusion: never again this hotel and we are not blind to the many hotel reviews! read more

For the first time in Africa. The Tunisians are extremely friendly and helpful. The weather was summery, not too hot, in the evening rather fresh. The hotel was not brand new, but very pleasant and the staff tried hard and was friendly. The pool is big and nice, and we had direct access to the beach. We stayed from the activities of the hotel, are unable to profit from, because we were always on the go. The check-in process was a Okay. read more

The hotel pleased us very well, since it was not too new and too sterile. The staff were all very nice and friendly, helpful and had good tips for the excursions for us. If you don't want to be at the pool, the beach could be reached in a few minutes. If you do not go on the furniture or small, obvious repairs unfachmännischen mind, this is very well cared for. There is another country and a different culture, one should never forget! read more

Older hotel, but still in good condition and kept extremely clean by noticeably many employees.
There were AI (ca. 30%) and guests with half board in this hotel, which for us AI wasn't a disadvantage.
Food:
The food was simply fantastic. At breakfast, lunch and supper there was during the 3 weeks always something for everybody with surprisingly much variety. Every evening there was a grill buffet on the patio (fresh on the grill) prepared. Start with fresh fish (sword, tuna, etc.) or turkey, lamb and local specialities. We had seldomly experienced in Arabian holiday areas so much variety. ...
Guests:
Sadly from the 1100 guests there were only 20 German, a few Italian, and a few Scandinavian guests the rest were French - which didn't bother us as the hotel had only known German vacationers recently and the staff, - the entertainers and even the locals treated us preferrably in many areas and were obviously very glad to improve their Grman (not pushy). read more
