By accident in this hotel landed, because all B & Bs in the area were full, and can fully recommend the hotel. You feel back to old times, nevertheless is the furnishings the best. We had the big room 117 and felt very comfortable. The staff were at any time friendly and accommodating, the breakfast good. Saturday is live music in the bar announced, since the room 117 exactly over the bar is, we were unwilling listeners until night half 2, but we are here on vacation and have it with a smile endure.
The hotel has enough parking spaces ... and the city is on foot in 10 minutes to reach. And third for 110€ with breakfast it was a real gem. read more

A very nice place to snuggle En. See the most of local so as in the café/restaurant area is always something going on. There's not a safe, but thats the only downer. The food was very good. You came immediately after we had requested one is in the city center and has beautiful views from the hotel. The hotel I would also private use, I think you find something better. read more

The Ambassador is on the Military Hill. About 20 minutes walk from the city center 10 minutes away by car. Free parking is available on-site. Wi-fi did not work, despite request and Systemcheck from the staff. The Höll KNITTING easy place for a short time stylish - but also good. We had room 117 and it was huge with two king size beds rather than queen room. Room and bathroom were recently renovated. The bathroom was also quite big in the retro look, with the usual funny cold in Ireland and Warmwasserhähnen ( fixtures you can call the didn't actually ... stay). For the internet rate of € 76, -, which I also without chase up at the front desk was offered for this room with breakfast. The price was ok, since you are much smaller B & B room almost the same price. The Frügstück was adequate - as always toast but also small croissants. Fruit, cereals and, if desired the Irish breakfast with fried eggs, sausage, fried Kassler ( as usual in Ireland, although I understand under bacon something else) and-white pudding, The staff was so helpful, friendly and helpful. read more

This hotel is a clean, and actually makes a good impression, the friendliness the ladies at the counter leaves a lot to be desired. From 7 am there was breakfast, but you were served about 730AM after the service is wakes up and the gressliche bread finally showed up at the buffet. Should you have an appointment in the early morning would not to recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to have breakfast or something small to food. Also the service is cold, slow, and none knew the right online manners to serve and the order. The rooms are ... ok, decorated by the windows attracts the wind and the bathroom is so small that you in circles. read more

The hotel is a good base to explore Cork. The location on the "Ausgrund military hill" is the street to the center rather steep. Though no more than 15 minutes. We had room 117 - very large with two queen size beds. Please note: The adjoining rooms 116 has a alcoves, and will be pleased to local companies rented throughout the day and "chat". The house is a bit noisy, rather larger than we expected. But was bad, we will push occupied the on the time of year. Parking facilities are free of charge. read more
