A gorgeous area, with tropical great garden. Definitely water shoes bring along as corals and rock at the hotel beach a swim hinder. The breakfast buffet is great everything there that you need:-) if you wanted a bit more action then you drive to Chaweng. Excursion tours outside the hotel at best from the hotel book there considerably cheaper. Overall a great hotel can only be recommended. read more

Hotel beautifully landscaped, gorgeous area and very green. Complex very well-kept and staff really made an effort. Food in the hotel very recommendable. Breakfast very varied and you can sit with direct view of the sea. Lunch/ evenings food was very good, only a little more expensive than outside. For this great service. Also the audience the upscale category appropriately and no russians! Had a pool villa - garden very good possibility to lay down, pool although not very big but for cooling perfectly. Room staff very friendly and also efficient. Room in hillside but I would not recommend as ... the March to pool respectively sea very steep. Pool and beach ( unfortunately very narrow) very nice clean and tidy. Sea unfortunately not optimal, there is Chaweng Noi sure beautiful. read more

The hotel complex I found wonderful, since they are very green and well maintained, and not so big and extensive (except for the bungalows at the top am hang perhaps, where you almost walking shoes required).
A downside is for me unfortunately the narrow hotel beach, where only a few loungers space, before a small stone wall and then the sea follows. As a fantastic beach it is important, I would have this for two weeks not enough (as originally booked hotel was overbooked, I only had 4 nights at the fair house villas & spa and am then moves). ... Otherwise there was sea not so nice ( seaweeds or seepflanzen in shallow water). Who a nice beach finds, is for example in Chaweng Noi better off, where I afterwards was. read more

We had a pleasant stay, however there were some faults the in our opinion a four star hotel do not do it justice. The guest structure has massively changed, before were a few guests the fair pants, but to 80% from the EU. In our this year vacation were 80% of the guests from Russia, 20% EU. The service and the friendliness the staff is furthermore very well, that you could find positive very little on Samui. Unfortunately this is probably at the expense of hotel prices. To the comparison: in the ... restaurant evenings you pay for 1 beer with 1 sweet and sour chicken with rice about 500-550 bath (12- 13 euros). After Mae Nam eat pay for the same service about 100 bath. That is to say the prices there are about 6 times as high as outside. Very well maintained facilities away from the hustle and bustle in green surroundings, friendly staff, civil price, excellent kitchen.
We have decided for this hotel, because we the hustle and bustle, the customers and the dirt in Chaweng and Lamai escape wanted. This hotel is really a peaceful oasis, from the busy main street about 500 meters away and two miles from fishermans village, the touristenfußgängerzone with restaurants, bars and shops. We were for a total cost €7,50 per day a scooter from the hotel rented, in order to from time to time the neighborhood to explore.
Absolute inside ... tip fair house: the chalets (small house) the top of the slope, all with a view of the sea, the bay and end process palmenwald. Huge large room with huge bed and a veranda, from which you the mountains looks, behind which evenings under the sun is, and palm trees, all buildings and all people cover. You really the feeling, alone -and is in the middle. The best: on the veranda or the large l-shaped balcony there is a modern, guarded (and very clean jacuzzi). Here you can evenings the salt of the sea wash and the sunset enjoy - wonderful and unique.
Much negative is not a. Perhaps the extremely high prices laundry (circa 80 Euro for four kilos!) - it was really a outliers. Unfortunately also, that the majority of of the staff very bad speaks english. Altogether it should be noted, that the prices for foodstuffs and services in Thailand and especially on the major islands in the last months strong risen are, because of the rising raw material costs in the world, but also due to some large storm like the great tide of koh samui end of 2011. It already noticeable - the mood of some of western and russian tourists, the not understand, why it in Thailand suddenly only is very convenient, but no more everywhere supersuperbillig.
