Vilamendhoo is a slightly larger island, but beautiful. The island is about 800 meters long and 200 meters wide. The villas are on the whole island and various categories. We had us for the beach villa and this was great. read more

    The rooms were a dream, everything tastefully decorated and clean. Great four-poster bed and a possible extra bed had a nice couch, large closet with a safe, minibar, television, dvd player, desk, kettle and air conditioning. The halfway open bathroom was with a shower, toilet, 2 sinks, equipped. An opportunity for the wet clothes and also a hair dryer was also available. It everything always thoroughly cleaned and was for us no reason to criticize.

    On vilamendhoo there are different restaurants, but we had full board and therefore only the main restaurant visited. The quality and quantity of the dishes was to our complete satisfaction and also very varied. There was very much delicious fish, meat, salads, pasta and so on

    The entire staff on the island is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were always 2 times cleaned daily. On the island there is also a nice doctor, the around the hour to reach is. Outside his visiting time against a fee. The handling of complaints is very good.

    There was daily evening entertainment, which we however hardly used, since the terraces so cozy were. Different excursions were offered, which also okay are. As we 1 day something stormy sea, we also the pool and this was very well-kept and with chairs, umbrellas and shower. By the pool was a really great bar and a beautiful children's playground. Since we also had a small child with had, we have the review, for kinderunfreundlichkeit none if said. Also the children were here very nicely treated. The the island in 2 areas is divided into (1 when the water bungalows is only from 18), we knew before and could also with of the kids the whole island orbit. The beach is open daily from washed up things and was great. Around the whole island is a terrific reef nearby to dive and for snorkelling. We were very impressed.

    The transfer from male with a water plane after vilamendhoo is great organized. Vilamendhoo has a great transferraum, in the cold drinks and coffee gets. Here one has even free internet access, if you would like this. We have, in these transferraum already all formularitäten for the hotel island and the vacation could already start here. With the seaplane you can reach about minutes vilamendhoo. The reception on the island was very lovingly, with a drink and a personal check-in. Since we to 7 are traveling, we had from home a mail on vilamendhoo and sent asked, we 3 bungalows together and our request was met.

The island was simply a dream. We are already on the reason, if we again next year on this island have a vacation. The condition the water, as well as the underwater world is just great. I would the island dearest not recommend, so i opportunity i again vacation shut. read more

We were to 2 time on vilamendhoo, and it has again worth it. The beach villa is large and very well equipped. Especially great is the freshly renovated bath. We had full board, which for us, since we didn't want wine or beer to the lunch. The guest structure was very pleasant, and mixed, Switzerland, England, Germany, Italy. read more

    As already mentioned above are the rooms very big. The air conditioning should have been a bit colder, you can put you on 16 °c, but it will probably only 25 degrees. Coffee and tea refilled daily. I would particularly like to highlight, that you don't bottle of water across the island must, since the water from the minibar 4.50 $costs, as well as at the table or in the bar.

    The quality and the selection of dishes was very good. Also the cleanliness is very good. There were always theme nights, i think always something for everyone there. Special mention you have to not, that every waiter and room boy about a reasonable tip. All in all i can say, that the restaurant is very good.

    Entire staff was very friendly. I would especially like to mention our waiter, the very quick in clearing away of plates was, and i mean that in a positive way! Also it was him never too much in the morning for us drassen they quote. In the mornings and lunch can dine in or before the restaurant eating, in the evening had to be reserved. Also a large thanks to our roomboy, the for cleanliness and fresh towels attention to them, twice a day.

    The pool we did it once, but who needs a pool, if the sea only a stone's throw away. Especially recommendable is the nearby riff, turtles, eagle rays and fish in all colors and sizes. Simply only nice. However, you should make sure, as snorkelers, first at the diving station on the current information. The staff the diving station are all very pleasant, even if you are not a diver is.

    We were with 'tma' to the island. I must say, that we have never almost no wait for the water plane had. With 'tma' we directly in a lounge stituents, there are free beverages, as well as cool towels, and of the hotel check-in from employees here taken care of. On vilamendhoo you need only its welcome drink and accept the key. Our beach mansion was on the north side the island. This was very well, if you no problems with wind. On the south side, it was always very calm and then hot. We found it very pleasant always a fresh breeze to have.

The island is about 800 meters long and approximately 100 meters wide. There are around the island a really beautiful beach with a very nice reef. At the west end the island is the water bungalows a huge lagoon, in the good snorkeling. There the island in 2010 has been completely renovated, it is missing on the island nothing. The buildings are all in top condition, the infrastructure could not be faulted. The island is very clean. The guests %blank% especially from Germany, France, England and the Switzerland. read more

    We had a jacuzzi water villa booked, the definitely worth the extra is. The villa is very well equipped, has a huge bathroom with open passage to the jacuzzi at the back of the villa. The balcony over the steps directly at the lagoon, where one in the night with the floodlights very much fish. Of red lion fish, rays, sharks and snails has it all. The villa was cleaned twice a day, the mini bar also refilled. Per day we were even 2 liter free water available. For the nespresso machine we received per day two kaspeln.

    We booked full board and we didn't regret it. The breakfast, lunch and dinner was super. There were outweighed by asian, mediterranean, european cuisine. There was nothing left to be desired. We especially the früchtebüfett very good. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant, the employees had their job in hand. Empty plates and glasses were always cleared immediately. The prices a drink are malediventypische high. However, there were no surprises, as the prices vat included. Service charge they know no. Since we also liked a tip on the hand.

    The staff, and the front-management is very friendly and competent. They all speak pretty good english. The roomboy, and the waiters, the whole week the same, the now and again a few words with us changed.

    The diving center Euro divers is very well organized. The check dive could daily, and afterwards equal at the nearby reef diving. The booked excursions were good, on which we mantas, sharks and even a whale shark have seen. Special thanks to the tankboys. These have every day our equipment washed and back to drying at the designated capacity left. The value for money is good, especially compared to other famous diving bases in the Maldives. Beach and reef were very appealing and clean.

    Vilamendhoo is ungfährt 25 minutes from male by seaplane away. The barefoot island is divided into two parts. On the eastern the island the standard beach bungalows. On the west side are the jacuzzi beach and water bungalows, where no children are allowed. For these bungalows, there is a separate restaurant, as well as the sunset bar.

A wonderful resort; everything worked out-the connecting flight in male! Very nice island with a fantastic reef ; beach is very clean! Food: versatile, very well cooked-fantastic buffet at christmas and new year! Staff are very friendly! Unfortunately is the problem of waste so lots of tourists obviously not yet been resolved. The nightly boat tour with barrels (leftovers?!) Us and other guests rather pensive in. The hotel islands everywhere the case? The feed from fish is' by law ' forbidden... But otherwise a truly beautiful island - the people are very nice and attentive. Thanks read more

We were for the first time at the Maldives and to 100% the right island was satisfactory. The shoes you could at home since it was a barefoot island, one perhaps and for an excursion a few flip flops need! We had an outstandingly beautiful water villa (322) with all the decor was what it needs. Especially we have the privacy and the jacuzzi in the villa really enjoyed. The room was 2 times per day made. The service was an absolute dream and we saw every day again different fish. We could directly from the villa to the reef ... snorkeling. There were two point where you from the inside reef which led to the the outside reef snorkel could, but unfortunately there were again and again people on the reef some even if it eppe was. If all comply with the rules would would not be so many reefs broken! The trip to the whale shark and manta rays was perfect and we had both seen (good luck). The absolute best was the christmas + new year's buffet. We have never seen anything like it. Everything was beautifully decorated. The food was very fine and diverse. Also for me as a vegetarian it had enough choice. The island in about 25. minutes circling. Asian wok rest. There are fine drinks and you can see a beautiful sunset. The sunset bar, the ahima buffet rest. And the pool were for children prohibited. We had full board and the wholeheartedly enough. That all. Inclusive we couldn't beat out, although the prices for the beverages european! We had every day the same waiter and after a short time he knew what we liked to drink! (recommendable is at the start to give a tip!) Something negative there is not at all to write! In short it is the paradise on earth! And we would definitely stay again the island go. read more

Rather large Maldives-islands with 800 metres in length; barefoot island-you really need any shoes in the entire vacation; upscale category; guests from all over Europa and Asien mixed; we had 2 weeks beach bungalow full board. According to our calculation is charged all inclusive not. All the rooms are nicely located-we could not better and poor bungalows mind. The two beautiful pools we used often. Relatively new, as total renovation in 2010. read more

    During dinner times there was always buffet with very diversified food. Everything was hygienic and very good. Only point of criticism: sometimes already somewhat too coldly.     We were only snorkelling and diving. Diving school is very good organized-we booked tauchpakete on Eurodivers. Every evening there was a theme night in the main bar-but we were never. Each bungalow has its 2 own chairs on the beach. Shade from the trees. There is also the possibility from Tennis, soccer, water sports (surfing, sailing, kayak...) , billiards, darts...

    Really great is the reception in the crown & champa lounge by the tma wasserflughafen (male). The vacation already started better, than in the tourists of the other islands. The location the bungalows is generally behind a few palm trees near to the beach. There are 2 restaurants - these shares the people a bit on and one has not as a food hall character. There is a gift shop, evening entertainment in the main bar. All very clean and well-kept.

We have here a wonderful vacation spend. Pure relaxation. You could the island also slow motion silent islandnennen. The island is really perfect. A paradise for snorkelers. There was on the way there only a point of criticism. The island was overbooked. We had to unfortunately the first 2 nights in a gardenbungalow, instead of the booked beach bungalow stay. However we were also compensated. We got the difference between the costs paid, and as a bonus or a dinner on the beach to the value of 175 $. But nevertheless i think, that with such a price for the ... journey the yes is not negligible, should not happen. Despite all it was the perfect relaxing vacation. read more

We have been for the 3. time on the Maldives and once again very satisfied! All bungalows are brand new and are equipped with the beautiful open bathroom, large bed, flat screen, mini bar, kettle, etc. Optimal furnished. In the two restaurants with sandy floor you sit wonderful small 2. tables. Food was perfect and service in all areas always friendly and helpful. The nearby riff is large and has beautiful corals, unfortunately little fishing as fully grown sharks or rays. Perhaps we had but also only no luck. Baby sharks, as on most islands directly from banks very often ... sighted and swim peacefully around if you quiet location in the gentle surf is. Great! As mentioned in other reviews described is the beach because of the unpleasant breakwater and the part. Large number of sand bags (there are also on other islands and are unfortunately necessary) not everywhere equally attractive. We had bungalow 116 and were actually despite small white painted wall very satisfied. Above and below the mäuerchens the best beach and sandbags and breakwaters no trace. The area about around the bungalows 173 could not have made us. Almost all the jacuzzi beach villas have a great beach section. In short: we were very satisfied overall, but next year probably our 4. island be explored. Great vacation! read more

The island itself is fantastic, with excellent snorkeling if you go into the lagoon. The food is fantastic with a great selection. The staff is very friendly and always leave happy to help. I really can not recommend this place enough. Book it, you will love every second of it. read more

We could us most authors agree with. It was a wonderful vacation on a wonderful island! A rather more expensive vacation but with a great value for money. We chose the jacuzzi-villa decided. We would use it again. Not only because of the jacuzzis, but also because of the refined atmosphere in smaller but also better restaurant. Also the beach section was very good. Who on the facilities a jacuzzi-bungalows is eliminated in the other bungalows in very good hands. A two classes- difference I didn't notice them. Tip: we were from the snorkel- trips very impressed. Unfortunately we are ... only in the second week to explorations started. The last of us planned trip was deleted in the absence of prospects. So right at the beginning of the vacation trip book and if a fascinated with the manta rays, sea turtles and reef sharks to snorkeling, the trip repeat. Also whale sharks were during our travels while snorkeling to see. Unfortunately we had bad luck. But no matter, we come back certainly sometime once again! read more

    The island in 25 minutes with the water plane to reach. By the location the island you can great diving areas reach. The diving center is very good organized and the staff very friendly. The beach the island constantly repaired, that means here and there is sand was filled up. Whether the reef too good, of us doubts, because the veneer of sand from the waves again in S sea and sometime the corals completely sandy and thus die. The nearby riff is left and right of the bungalow's very good, the rest is but for snorkeling not very nice to look at.

We briefly determined separately a reasonable flight with Emirates, as well as when Thomas Cook hotel and Transferflug booked. The 6. time on the Maldives we are used to, that you patience with a-and onward journey must have. Landing 8:30 in MLE and 11:15 A. M. with head underwater on the reef-it doesn't get better and faster! Great friendly welcome, great bungalow ( Upgrade receive), wonderful nearby reef with baby sharks and rays to welcome, rich buffet, despite Ramadan uncommonly friendly waiter - what a warm welcome! Enthusiasm at the sight of Sportcentre and above all of the ... football field ( large and artificial turf-guys pack the Nockenschuhe!). In the afternoon (16:30) you can daily stuff play along. Badminton, table tennis, Midget Golf, Gym and treadmill, as well as a with water solid fridge ( included with gym use, the only in all-inclusive is free ) are available. The diving center Eurodivers, by eriyadu knew, it was very impersonal to. To check in blazing sun, compulsory Orientationdive for every diver ( regardless of the number of dives respectively date of latest scuba diving tours), ' safety protrudes allen' and the only opposite the customers with sharp clay/tone also represented - locals snorkeling instructor against the Tauchgruppen dehydrated (there was Ramadan and no Muslims must from sunrise to setting do not eat, or drink). For singles not suitable. Diving and seaside fehrien OK. Unfortunately no water sports possibilities except surffen. It is mostly windy, but very warm and pleasant. Wrong price for alcoholic beverages. But that is normal for Maldives. read more

In March 2011 we were on Helengeli, can vilamendhoo thus only with this island comparisons. Wonderful island, beach villa very big and beautiful ( I recommend room north-east side, room 138-167, since quietest), whole lobby and lots of other restaurant-area with a great atmosphere and top service. Choice of food and quality top. We were just snorkeling, this is the nearby riff absolutely superb (better than Helengeli, since reef is longer, more corals and larger diverstiy has ). Excursions to Manta rays and whale sharks recommendable nonetheless, in March was' hits' on circa 80% (we have both seen )! Perfect ... holidays on the perfect Island, value for money probably not to beat. read more

A vacation on vilamendhoo guaranteed 100% relaxation. As Maldives- first time we were all around loved it. However you should at the beach really didn't have too high expectations bodies, since it really some areas, where the sandbags and stone walls, the picture dominate. But then but also the nearby riff on the doorstep and small sharks, rays and other colorful fish swimming in knee-deep water around. This means but also, that the sand with coral through. Bathing shoes are here really recommendable. The' trip warning' by Peter from Austria, we can absolutely not share. All employees were especially polite ..., friendly and helpful. The food was great and the beverages safely to enjoy. In our day were very a lot of French people with children and English on the island. Since the island very many divers booked, mostly the whole day are traveling, it was very quiet on the island. Also evenings it was very quiet and solid. 'OUR' bungalow number 143 on the north side the island we can really recommend, as you both in the shade, as well as in the sun could place and always a slight breeze went. read more
