We've been coming here for ten years, and it's the only hotel we keep coming back to. Because of the friendliness, the excellent view, the fantactis food, the room, the facilities, the thalasso spa .. I could go on and on.. It's just so unbelievably relaxing. This hotel has somethinhg for everyone and should be a must visit destination. The food on offer is exceptional and varied each day. As a couple we stayed on an All Inclusive basis and found it to be of excellent value.The night time entertainment is varied and has something for all age groups. Very sophisticated hotel, peacefull, quality music and it's nice to enjoy a good quality holiday in the hotel. When you see all the families aroud you and you see they are very well taken care off, it's nice to see. Very comfortable atmosphere, which you can see everywhere. We had an excellent stay at Gloria Palace Amadores. We stayed half board and the meals were excellent.
The staff were warm and friendly and the room was excellent and spaceous with brilliant views of the sea.
The beach was a short walk away and had all you could ask for. We spent one week here and we are sorry to leave but would recommend this hotel for a special break to all read more

Staying at Gloria P. really makes you feel like you are on holiday. The first time we were here we arrived at 3 AM in the morning. The receptionist asked us if we were hungry and wanted a meal. We said we just wanted to sleep. Then he asked if he could send the chef home. So the hotel had kept the kitchen open for us at trhat hour. Then we really felt that we mattered. The rest of our stay was also perfect. We really felt sad when we had to leave. So one year later we came back. ... And six months after that, we came back again. I quess that says it all about what we feel about Gloria Palace Amadores. For us this is the ultimate holiday. read more

Farniente and dream stay in Gran Canaria .... after a very late arrival at the hotel the first room we were given was not what we requested. However, taking into account the fact that it was the Easter holidays, the staff were extreñmely understanding and we did get a room change the next day. What a difference ! This might well be the best holiday I have ever had, and I don·t want to go back home tomorrow !

This is one of the best hotels i have been to. It was very nice located on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic ocean.
The only bad thing whit our visit was the storm and rain. It was the first rain for two years, so it was kind of bad luck.
But we sure had a good time anyway. read more

From the moment you walk into the very impressive reception you have a wonderful time. You are greeted by very helpful reception staff who have a good understanding of English and explain well how to get to your room. The rooms are large. The rooms were large. Ours were floor tiled but I did see the same room type with carpet. The TV was LCD flat screen but I did see old style chunky TV's in other rooms. English channels are available to watch. They were both freshly painted, clean, with twin beds pushed together to make a double. Tea/coffee ... making facilities and glasses provided for your own drinks. There was also a cooler (mini fridge which wasn't as cold as a fridge) in the room so ideal for cool water. The bathroom was large with double sinks, bath with shower over and separate toilet room. The maid came daily and towels were changed daily with sheets changed every 3 days. The hairdryer however, isn't great so best take your own.
The 2 pools are very clean and the surrounding pool side is also cleaned and hosed down daily. We never had a problem getting a sunbed even around lunch time.
The restaurant food was fantastic. Freshly cooked steaks to your liking, fresh fish and other meats plus freshly made pizza! We looked forward to eating there and wondering what delights would be available that night. The freshly made to order omelettes at breakfast were fabulous!
The entertainment is a bit hit and miss but I suppose this depends on what you like. 4 bars to choose from but I did like sitting outside at the pool bar at night with the lovely mood lighting and comfy seats.wonderful! read more

oveall most of the facilities are very good,however, there are some areas where updating of equipment is necessary. Activities are fully enjoyed by customers if proper tools are provided. Afterall,it is a good way to bring together different nationalities and make lasting friendship which is noted by the repeat visit which most of us like to make to this hotel.
A more enthusiastic effort by the animation team would also be welcomed,it would involve more customers to join in the activities.I would like to see a more visible management on the floor.Matters which need addressing ... could be quickly resolved.
Finally a big thanks to all the staff for their willingness to be helpful even though some of them are only trainnees. read more

Well designed Hotel. Rooms large and all with Sea Views . Large number of guests but because of layout this is only noticable in Dining Areas.
Cleanliness was excellent of all areas especially the rooms and pool area.
