A very nice gardens but older bungalows. The cleaning was always thorough, every day there was per person 0.5l of water in pet bottles free of charge. Unfortunately the air conditioning installed, that they the whole night face blaste. The lowest level was so loud, that you are not able to sleep peacefully. The shower was in need of renovation (the water didn't drain). The staff was very hard, but they had a daily briefing directly behind our bungalow and so we were automatically early woke us up. A wireless internet access, we had these prices requested. Because of ... the very good hotel evaluations on HolidayCheck we chose this hotel, however, we can afterwards say, that the value for money not true. read more

The hotel we have due to the very good evaluation with holidaycheck. We do not know who these reviews made!
Luckily it was just for one night before we went to koh pha-ngan to traveling.
We are at the front desk by german-speaking, sweaty tourists in the wet bathing suits welcome. We felt so, whether we are on Mallorca in a universe inclusive klubanlage arrived.
Since we this clientele actually avoid and therefore always luxurious resort book, this was a shock for us.
Then it was in the garden bungalow.
Never have i seen so much spider webs in a ... hotel seen. Also the mirrors were dirty, mildew and mold in the shower, calcified shower head, the shower curtain worked, as if he temporarily was installed and a towel rack the shortly before the crash.
In the evening we then the thaibüfett participated. The food was extremely bad.
The meat looked like a german, bad buffet. The only thai dishes were fried noodles and rice.
The food general was cold, withered and bland. The noodles were snotty!
For breakfast you had to very long (14 minutes) for a scrambled egg/omelette or fried eggs in line, since only a cook for several dozen guests was responsible.
The kindness and responsiveness of employees could us due to the above-mentioned problems and problems simply not positive votes. read more

The hotel consists of a urwaldähnlichen facilities in the individual bungalows lovely nestle. The bungalows cleaned thoroughly every day, besides everyone gets residents a daily a bottle of drinking water free.
Breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty! Exception are in my opinion the fruit juices, i enjoyed not taste good at all, since from concentrates produced. My wife however was of the juices inspired, is just matter of taste!
Food in the hotel of course is more expensive than outside (as everywhere), recommendable the restaurant is diagonally opposite, here is the food very delicious and cheap (dinner for two people ... with two drinks circa 600 thb). read more

The resort is essentially a series of bungalows, there are but also a building with rooms. Even if some bungalows nice older are, is the condition for the tropical conditions very well maintained. The open restaurant at the beach is large and you will find for breakfast always a place. The buffet is extensive and attractive. For eggs there is a front cooking station, where everything freshly prepared is. Breakfast was in the included. Unfortunately, wlan not free and also in parts the hotel nothing special strong. Even in the internet room the connection is slow. Costs 100 Bhat/h. international ... guests all ages, many couples, especially german and english. read more

We were from 27-12-2012 to 12-01-2013 peace resort and a wonderful vacation spend! It is like in paradise. The small, clean bungalows are, as in the jungle with palm trees surrounded and almost overgown unfortunately, on a very nice hotel!
Rooms offer everything. Air conditioning (the at night would bother you but you can during the day and then at night, a cool room), tv (even had ' a dvd player ), mini bar (subject to a charge), hair dryer, adapter, kettle, coffee and tea (free of charge). The bathroom is super nice, large and clean. The cleaning ladies arrived ... (on demand) daily.
Was booked our vacation with breakfast, which in buffet form every morning with a lot of attention to detail was set up. There was always plenty of it, varied and something for everyone there. We could in any case no complaints. Also the staff in the restaurant/bar /front desk was always nice, polite and very helpful. At any time you don't feel welcome.
Had in our last week of vacation a water pipe, the immediately after our message at the front desk fixed was!
Had unfortunately somewhat bad luck with the weather. The first week it has several times daily very heavy rain and new year's eve literally into the water pleased. Nevertheless was the party that evening very nice raised!
Because of the rain there were very many mosquitos, the very places have. It helped no brought mosquito spray from Germany, but the in Thailand bought tigerbalsam (very recommendable, i liked it helped).
Internet is' available '. At the front desk you can get tickets from 100 Bhat (tight 2,50 Euro) with which one starting from 60 minutes of the internet can log!
In short: hotel i recommend to 100% further. It is clean, nice location, the beach is clean and really peace!
If you want to party and action is in koh pangan probably better cared for. But you should know in advance, where you your vacation bay!
What i can recommend it the fishermans village lots of small stores and every friday 's street market! read more

We were from service at the front desk very disappointed, as a employee ( probably a kind of boss at the front desk) always and was friendly, not the eyes looked, a face made, as if it 7 days rain.
The check in delayed for one hour, after a long journey already annoying, neither towels to fresh still drinks were offered.
Then we were with our room not satisfied and wanted to change this, the only went under the influence of unfriendly receptionists.
When checking out we were neither asked, whether we mini bar what have, nor said goodbye, let ... alone a good journey desired.
To eat: we had lunch once a hamburger and a Cola ordered (promo action from the hotel), the meat from burger was cold, altogether not well prepared and the bill at the end was correct also not. The breakfast, well, I think it is a lot of the vortag serves, the coffee you had to get yourself, as well as the cutlery and napkins.
Perhaps we also had it too spoiled from the hotel the week before (we had 3 stops on vacation), however for a four-star hotel I expect a little more. In the reason the hotel is recommendable, but it is surely better ( for example panviman koh phangan! )! read more

We were altogether 9 days the peace resort had a deluxe garden bungalow booked.
We have never had so friendly staff as experienced from the gardener to to the front desk, the name of the hotel is here really again!
Especially surprised the extensive decoration of the bungalows here is a short list of:
-beach bag (so you can confidently at home I)
Flip flops.
Bathrobes.
Slippers.
Hair dryer.
Various toiletries.
Travel plug.
Moskitostecker.
2 umbrellas.
Flashlight.
Safe.
-mini bar ( price are in comparison to other hotels reasonably priced, in the supermarket but nevertheless cheaper)
Daily 2 wrong free ... water.
Daily beach towels.
The place Bo phut is rather quiet convenient, so if you evenings partying wants should rather to Chaweng go:-). We the peace and quiet but good. Particularly the wonderful beach is rather quiet and not so crowded. The sea is however not so clear, which us a little disappointed has.
In the immediate area is a supermarket, various restaurants ( we were mostly in the K-Siri ), as well as various shopping options.
Definitely Friday the Fischermannsvillage ( around 10 minutes away on foot) night market go, is worthwhile. read more

Nice grown in resort with individual bungalows and a hotel complex. The hotel untrscheidet the room type only after the location within the extensive complex and the proximity to sea. Here you should not fooled. We had originally a deluxe room booked, but we a room on the ground floor assigned to - not recommendable, since they are very dark (good) and many mosquitoes etc. Against an extra charge we are in a deluxe -bungalow moved. Recommendable but only the bungalows ( sea view and seabreese ) right next to the sea, the deluxe room on the 1st floor or ... the superior bungalows (cheapest category). read more

A detailed report

General
- on koh samui are the months may until september driest and the rest of the year is rainy and damp.
- tropical climate: summer clothes from silk, cotton and viscose is most pleasing; leinen is often too difficult.
- if you too much skin show, you will not only a sunburn exchange, but also derogatory views from the local harvest. No matter how hot it is, thai men wear in the town always long trousers and they should just stop. For the ladies are long pants also suitable, or but a nice summer dress or a kniebedeckender rock ... with a top, the shoulders and upper arms covered. Sleeveless tops should be avoided.
Visit of temples
In general the buddhist temple or wats thailand all open (under the condition, that the visitors neat dressed).
However, there are some important rules of engagement:
- appropriate clothing is required, that means for the ladies: a rock (or long pants) and top or dress, both the knee, as well as the shoulders cover. For the men: shorts are not allowed. It must long pants and a shirt with sleeves are.
- before you some building entering, you need to take the shoes off. Often is possible for this purpose braid prepared, sometimes separately for thai and one for tourists. In general must to summarize wat photographed-the photograph of praying believers will but often resented. Important: you should never a photo of itself together with a buddha statue make let.
Peace hotel
- 1 bar the pool bar is, happy hour between 16:00 until 19:00 o'clock. Beware! The prices without taxes specified, 20% mood!
- the hotel offers a variety of excursions, which you right at the hotel can book (a bit more expensive as in the travel agency outside, but with insurance and guarantee, that the excursions actually take place!).
- sea wrap restaurant (part of the peace resort ) is very good and atmosphere in the evening at the sandy beach exceptionally beautiful. Costs in the european standard-offers different menus or a la carte directly at the beach on bean bags at, the quality of the dishes was always really good. The restaurant offers thai cuisine, as well as european cuisine. Prices for the menu offers a bit high, for us it was definitely cheaper to eat a la carte. In the restaurant with a sea view there is a daily special lunch for 99 thb like for instance pizza, thai noodle soup, sandwich and so on
Eat out
The highlight, - at the end the bay (from the hotel out right or at the beach left) is the restaurant zesan, a very good restaurant (but not for the narrow purse). It is thai cuisine on french chef and sommelier, totally worth it. Table 2 days in advance. The food was amazing and every cent paid off. We were on saturday and have a thai dance to.
Bo phut
- the ' flying dealers ' at the beach are mostly for lunch and offer very delicious and fresh snacks, for example grilled corn cobs, barbecue, fresh thai salad, green papaya salad, spring rolls, and fruit. None shy and food, hygiene and quality is excellent
- k-siris-right next to peace, simple, cheap kitchen, a bit weird host but nevertheless good address but different reviews! Duck with green curry is good
You leave the hotel on the beach right, 10 to 15 minutes fisherman's village
- smile house
- opposite the pier in the kama sutra
- shades
- starfish
- kruya
- cocktail in the coconut tams on the big boys
You leave the hotel on the beach turn left, in the various beach bars and resorts in the evening very quaint and good food. The first restaurant = rohd' on and you can dine coconut calm beach
You leave the hotel to the right on the street direction mä nam
- approximately 700 meters in the direction mä nam, year bbq. Price is around 80 to 100 Bhat per portion. Go there, very good food!
- 'kingfisher' about 10 minutes away, opposite palm beach hotel, (you spoke german), across the street again!
- about 2 kilometer in the direction mä nam on the left 'bamboo bar' 2 germans from ' goodbye Germany'. The steak was great, the portions huge and the cocktails tasted. Worth a visit
- cactus a couple of minutes on foot (should the 4. at the beach his), you have to a few stone stairs go up, very nicely furnished, nice staff the food was excellent and really full, which elsewhere not always is true.
Taxi
- from the airport we are with the taxi risks for 250 thb (journey time 15 minutes). To the capital nathon in the west it is also approximately 15 minutes by car.
- with the tuck-tuck (50-100 thb) and taxi (300 thb) one comes to Chaweng.
- cheaper than the taxis are the so-called collecting taxis (converted pickup-trucks), they have no schedule, but will just as they come mostly horns you and you have to tell you then simply a hands, that you need them to. When the driver simply the price (=fixed price) inquiring paid after the get off (in the evening the rides are twice as expensive as on the day!).
- from the hotel itself taxis offered, so that you for example a trip to Chaweng or Tesco Lotus make can (a drive to Chaweng costs 300 thb, this is quite a good price, especially if you are in the evening on the way is, as you otherwise with the taxis have to negotiate and generally more paid).
Desk
Travel agency neo-samui ring road, bo phut 175/10 moo 1, tambon bo phut, koh samui, suratthani, 84320 Thailand right on the ringstraße boulevard opposite from samui Palm Beach Resort (diagonally opposite on the other roadside of the world resort in bophut). Open from about 09 hours until about 7:30 p. m.
The hotel offers also very many excursions with the guarantee, that the trip, and 100% cover.
- island tour where you all sights looks (part-and ganztagesrundreisen 800 or 1600 Bhat) or a combi jungle safari.
- walk to fisherman's village over the beach. Always on fridays in the fishermen's village the 'walking street', here we the road for cars locked and many thais come with their conditions at the road and sell there drinks and delicious food!
- trip after mea nam on wednesday with a visit of the night market, fun and is worthwhile definitely visit once.
- daytrip with holzdschunke'chantara' around the neighboring island koh phangan with breakfast on the boat, a stop for snorkelling, delicious home-cooked lunch on the boat, soft drinks are the whole day inclusive.
- in the harbor of na Tong is evenings always a market. The shops often only in the late afternoon on.
- boat tour with the blue star to the marine national park where you with chair and kayaks the beautiful archipelago could be explored. Of anthong national marine park consists of altogether 42 islands and islets west of koh samui. In addition to the interesting erodierten rock formations itself, are small, lonely bays with powdery white sand, lovely crystal clear, warm water and wonderful views over a fascinating landscape. The islands are from people uninhabited (only on the largest island there's a small bungalowfacility), but the wildlife is plentiful represented. Langurs (a affenart with long skip), otter, eagle, turtles, lizards and pythons belong to. There are several possibilities: both from bophut, as well as from nathon drive every day ( if the weather allows) small boats from. The vessels from the marine park in about two hours and then from island to island; the ship itself remains outside in the deep water, while the passengers with small longtail boats The ships always visit koh mä koh, an island with a nice little beach, of rugged high limestone cliffs enmarcado is. In the shallow water, it also wonderful swimming and splash around. Moreover, koh mä koh on a small natural wonders, a lagoon or saltwater lake with türkisgrünem water inside the island. The lake is sadly only after a fairly busy kletterpartie to reach (a simple wooden staircase leads up ); is however the trouble well worth it. The main island of the park is koh wua talap (island of sleeping cow). There are the parkaufsicht and a small, very simple bungalow for people, gladly during the night wish to stay. The main attraction, apart from the beach, is a high rock, from which a great view over the whole archipelago of offers. In addition there are many other small islands, many with pretty small beaches and some with good schnorchelgründen (for example Sam sao). On koh wao and koh tungku there are caves, the diving are suitable. If you don't like with the slow excursion boat therto, but a swift driving directions in the speedboat prefer, recommends a speed boat tour. Powerboats drive both from bophut, as well as from nathon from, there are also some hotels such tours. Then you must however somewhat dig deeper into your pockets; the tour with the normal excursion ship costs circa 250 Bhat per person (the tickets you should a, two days in advance at one of the lots of small travel agents in nathon buy); schnellbootausflüge are only from circa 800 Bhat per participant to have.
- island tours at the best with the hotel's shuttle service
- absolutely worth seeing the jungle in the heart the island. It will be lots of different excursions were offered. For the south of the island you should take a day time. Here tourism is still not arrived and you get a bit of thai lifestyle.
- big buddha, excursions in the hotel itself and unbelievably many travel shops offered.
- Jeep Safari around the island
- falls in the west the island (hin lad waterfall and temple)
- visit the south island. In the southern the island samui offer a wide range of attractive and interesting sights. Over Chaweng the highway 4169 southbound at the end the beach go by. Here you will find on the left side the street an observation deck, the with a fantastic view on the whole Chaweng-bay allowed. An even better view is, if the-quite steep small street right the mountain up, to the bay view restaurant. The restaurant has a terrace with a beautiful view (but especially visitors estimated, the not only roam, but also order something). Nearest station to Chaweng, if you're on the coastal road on läm (cape ) Nan past to Lamai go. Lamai is next to Chaweng and mänam the hübschste and most popular beach the island. The famous grandmother & grandfather rock (hin ta & hin yai) are at the end of Lamai Beach. On both sides of the small path, the from the street to the sea leads, are close to each other countless souvenirs, jewelry, and erfrischungsstände. Nearby the rocks form rundgeschliffene granitbrocken a pleasant, shallow small outdoor, in which it has good splash around leaves; a condition as to the Seychelles, only cheaper. Not far away from here the overlap stone, an excellent viewpoint, however somewhat difficult to reach. The path upwards is very steep and you can the vehicle only about half of the way up, the remaining five hundred metres you must on foot back (bring a large bottle of water and a good condition!) If you however managed and top, will you for your trouble with a simply stunning views of the south coast of koh samui rewarded. You will find the path to oberlap stone on the highway 4169 behind hin ta & hin yai on the right side the street (the diversion is a sign). The two interesting monasteries (wats) wat khunaram and wat sumret. Just on the famous highway number 4169 further south, at the village of ban hua thanon past, turn right there to the right from, and then about 1 kilometers away. On the left hand side the street branches a small road, after a further kilometre to the monastery wat sumret leads. Wat sumret is, like most buddhist monasteries on samui, as well as leave; only a handful of elderly monks live there, the paths clean and in the buildings after the right look. This means, that the small temple-complex with its many shady trees and with carvings ornate holzgebäuden a really enchanting, peaceful atmosphere. On the grounds is the ruin of an old chedis, probably from the 17. century. In one of the building is on the altar of a valuable statue from white burmese jade (the building complete, so they have to one of the monks or the friendly old guard questions, whether he throws open every kind. Do not forget, as thanks to a small donation in the box to leave). Wat khunaram, the 2. the above mentioned temples, is a few kilometres west of wat sumret. Drive back to the highway number 4169 back and turn to the left from. After one and a half kilometres you will see on the left the street an archway, the entrance to the monastery itself. Just as in wat taling ngam on the west coast is the most important relic a mummy, that means the natural way remained remains of a monk, the 20 years ago died. In Thailand is this a sign of high spiritual merits of view. The body of the Mönchs is in a glass case issued, and correct meditationshaltung. This relic of the locals very venerated and there are always some believers present, the flowers or other sacrificial offerings before the altar drop. A few kilometers north of wat khunaram you will find the na muang waterfalls, the in samui as large site are, your reputation, but actually not do full justice to. They are even somewhat less remarkable than the hin lad waterfalls (especially in the dry season). Nevertheless, if a judgement therto, look quiet once. Drive back to the highway number 4169 and then 2 miles away. The turning is located on the right hand side and is signposted. The waterfalls (as mentioned, usually a sparse trickle, the in a felsenbecken heruntertröpfelt ) are only a few meters away from the parking lot, and if not just too many tourists or local excursion participants there clump, the place with its a lot of trees and twittering birds a certain quiet charm.
- visit the capital na thon (in the west the island). If you from the ferry landing to the right at the bus stop and the lighthouse pass to the next side street, in this and then just go straight to continue, is finally (after a few minutes) to a relatively wide block, the taweeraj pakdee road. The market of nathon you will find, if you from the exit of the taweeraj pakdee road to the left go. It is a typical of south-east asian fresh market, where delicious fruits, vegetables, fish and seafood, as well as a wide selection of spices and other kochzutaten are offered. Most interesting is it here in the early morning, but also in the afternoon the market is still open. Next to the market at the taweeraj pakdee road the thai farmer's bank and thai military bank (if you traveler's checks redeem therto), and some supermarkets and lots of small shops with souvenirs and clothes; some of which is very nice. Handicrafts products gives it also in the anthong road, a small back street, the parallel to the sea between taweeraj pakdee road and the portside avenue runs. Except the small shops souvenirs sell are here also a series of simple small restaurants. If a refreshment again return to the hotel and don't want to with a rental car or motorcycle came, go on the best back to portside avenue. The buses to Chaweng and the beaches in the north of the station to the left of the ferry terminal, the buses to Lamai from the stop right next to the lighthouse.
- the surrounding towns (Chaweng for the shoppen and in the evening, big buddha.) In about 10-15 minutes by cab/ moped to reach.
- half day safari tour with elephant riding. We booked, if you out of the hotel and then to the right a few steps, we have a little cheaper, because we in the peace resort lived.
Car/scooter rental
Generally can be said, that it is extremely dangerous with the scooter about the island to drive. Every day there were serious accidents, and also with todesfolgen. In principle, always the tourists to blame and because of the language barrier is not very funny. The local travel agents advise rather, to rent a scooter, because insurance does not exist and the damage the lenders very expensive pay. Who but nevertheless hire me a few tips.
- in the hotel peace, scooters and cars for hire. A bit more expensive but the most serious
- neo
- Michael's motorcycles & scooters-rental. Michael's motorcycle rental and sale is located on the ring road in Lamai, not far from buddy's boutique hotel. There are scooter with automatic or halbautomatik. Choice between day, weeks and monatspreisen. The motorcycles are on request accommodation brought and picked up there again. Another service are Michael's guided tours around the island koh samui. These tours are a busy day and lots of fun for people, the island on 2 wheels would like to explore. The store is located across the street from the aree resort, approximately 200 meters south of buddy hotels. It is open daily from 9:00 a. m. in the morning until 8:00 o'clock in the evening open. For mietanfragen contact Michael directly under the requested 08-669 063 12.
- right next to the hotel. Very cheap (Jeep for 18 Euro per day with insurance)
- Suzuki sj geländefloh for 25,- Euro per 24 hours, just at the front desk order, will dare brought immediately (free and fetched also) and then you can each 24 hours elongate, depending on your needs.
- 2. reiseladen right next to the hotel = 1 day 700 asked (16 Euro) + gasoline for a Jeep.
Massage
- a thai massage directly above the beach with a sea view is an absolute dream.
- you should in the hotel a massage. The prices are cheap and the choices very big! Necessarily the massage and the other applications by the pool haus try.
- mänam home spa, mänam beach
- tamarind springs, 205/7 thong takian, koh samui 84310, suratthani, Thailand (very expensive but great)
Shopping
- shopping possibilities from the hotel out, on the main street, directly left opposite there is a small familienmarkt, 24 hours open and pharmacy and laundry room (laundry washed costs 1 kilo circa 40 Bhat, one has it after a day freshly ironed again)
- for more shopping and for in the evening is however Chaweng. Shared taxi Tesco to drive. Duration about 15 minutes
- a suit tailor leave. There is very close a really good schneider, it means mr. John and his store means' the fashion ' out of the hotel and then approximately 400 meters to the right, however you must a couple of days on installation-count, since his things itself sliced and not how often in a factory will be made.
Other tips
- familymart (24 hours) drinks with atm is directly opposite the hotel
- money for the bank and not in the hotel exchange (the bank about 10 minutes on foot left from the hotel the main street followed)
- the fruits of the beach salesmen are delicious
- we have room service snacks and at the end tip (about 30 Bhat on the day).
- highly recommended are long light things against both sun, as well as at thoroughly existing and stechfreudige mosquitoes.
- phone, thai telephone card for 99 Bhat bought and still time for 100 Bhat electronics-the worked great. 5 Bhat/ minute to Germany or right after the arrival in a seven-eleven market thai to buy a telephone card, that is really cheap to call home. Sometimes a at the airport a handykarte true-move given, to adopt and a aufladekarte hinzukaufen. Cheaper you can't to Germany phone. 3 thb costs the minute! 90 thb costs the smallest aufladekarte, so a bit more than 2 Euro for 30 minutes for german landlines.
- the hotel is right on the main street and so you can always a shared taxi (cheaper by the day-only about 1 Euro per person in each direction) get.
- mosquitoes/protection, the thai tigerbalm helps really good as defence against mosquitoes-nothing Germany bring your own; resistance. The best is a small thai white bottle of the one across the street at the supermarket can buy. Otherwise if lemongrass get this in the room inlay, is very good. read more

We spend 12 days in this very nice, well-kept and quiet complex. We stayed in a garden villa deluxe building. We would like to highlight here the very nice hotel with the Tropical garden, the friendly and attentive of the staff and the clean, well maintained beach. As very pleasant we found also the colorful mixture the nations, the hotel guests. Good shops and restaurants there are nearby the fisherman's village. Also the restaurants at the beach in direct Hotelnachbarschaft are very recommendable. The drinks prices and dine in the hotel restaurant we found unfortunately as too expensive. Also the ... price for the internet- use it must not be. A little too loud was also the air conditioning. A very good and at the same time exciting access to the rest of the island is directly in front of the hotel with the collecting taxis. Easy thumb out and the adventure can begin. We can in any case recommend the hotel and come gladly again. read more
