Apart from my general very good evaluation the hotel i would for the following reason not more book: room at night overheated, heating was in the room not be regulated and hot air streamed from slit in the floor, although regulator to zero. Staff which at 3 o'clock in the morning, was called, could not help since no reguliermöglichkeit. Open window due to high traffic noise again be closed. To top it all was the mattress completely with rubber dropped what a sleep impossible and with a 5-star hotel extremely surprised.
No phone book in order at the front desk ... to call. read more

We have our 40. Wedding anniversary in the Louis C.Jacob celebrated. So nice we have never stayed in! This stay we'll never forget. Our very tastefully furnished room had a dreamlike view of Elbe. The service was perfect and the food in the restaurant sensational!

It was worth it here times for one night to stay. Unfortunately was the weather to klat, so that you unfortunately not on the terrace evenings could eat. The location at the Elbe is apart from that very good.

One of the hotels in the most beautiful location in Hamburg, if not even in Germany. The view of the 'Linden' -terrace from high up on the Elbe is breathtaking! The rooms are very spacious and modern, elegant décor. If possible, only room and suites with elbblick choose! The 2-star -Michelin-restaurant 'Jacob' is one of the best 'TOP-3' in Hamburg. No car park, but a large, free garage on the other side of the street, with the twist, access through a tunnel. On the other side of the street also a nice hamburgers' insider tip ', the' small Jacob'! read more

the hotel has great room with a fabulous view of the Elbe.
the stay was the view of the Elbe with the Airbus shipyard on the other side of the Elbe already unique.
unfortunately the hotel what technology and cleanliness regards our expectations not fair.
1. cleanliness:
the general cleanliness in the hotel and the rooms was good, however on closer inspection we found especially in the bath large weaknesses.
(shower separation totally with scale dirty (not cleaned? ) and on the cable the hairdryers ( feast in the bath installed ) stored beside makeup also a overlooking Layer of ... dust on the cable. 1 times above sweep would be there already enough been.
since we had a dog we had to all dog owners. Take a other hotel.
although for our 'small' a pillow as well as food and water bowls in the room available provided, however the faithful companions not in the public rooms of the hotel (bar, restaurant etc. ) accompany, so the dog during the meals and it tagesausklanges in the bar alone in the room had to stay-what a'normal' room service also impossible made. read more

Once a year we must here... This time we had booked an arrangement, which is a menu with aperitif at the dinner included. As always very friendly staff, an interesting look behind the scenes of the Jacob restaurants by the chef Thomas Martin, a menu to kneel with perfect wine, the view from the Elbzimmer, the fantastic breakfast the next morning... We are coming back later than 2012! read more

Numerous times I was I professionally and personally in Hamburg, however, it is only now that I stayed in the traditional and in my opinion one of the best hotels in Hamburg or in the North. My positive to enthusiastic assessment relates to the situation in the Elbhöhen with view on the Elbe-the environment with the lovely Linden terrace-the ambience, I thought that was timeless elegant-the gourmet dining, I highly recommend and I have appreciated separately-especially the friendly, always present but Hanseatic understated service in all areas. The breakfast is an experience in two respects: the ... morning view of the Elbe and the diversity of the offered food and drinks. Only the public passenger transport is not comfortable but it was something to accept. Furthermore, it must be mentioned, that the luxury comes at a price, but I think that is absolutely justified! read more

Of Sylt we stayed one night at the Jacob-and especially the next morning breakfast! Fantastic atmosphere and food with a view to ' pots 'on the Elbe-worth every penny.
Rooms were very spacious, despite two extra beds was still plenty of room. For the children there were fluffy dogs.
The staff is courteous and friendly and relaxed.
The adjacent wine is nice and offered us late hour a shop... read more

Location on the banks of the river Elbe is not to toppen. Atmosphere of the old house is great, friendliness and service is hard to beat. An evening on the terrace is a highlight of the Linden stay. read more

I was really spoiled, all were very attentive, unobtrusive, but always there: from the reception to the restaurant service, the management, the service at the bar, the terrace with the beautiful view on the Linden Elbe-I felt comfortable all around me. The hotel is very tastefully and comfortably furnished, precious, but not dead, but decent and in just under his apt.
