Absolutely disappointing.
4 friends middle age and without large slope for complaints wanted at the end of january 2013 a little sports and beach vacation. This dirty mess but a large part of the holiday happiness marred. Luckily we had beautiful weather and a hired car, without that you hardly whcih.
The 3 courts only 5 Euro. Praised 9-hole-golf course a heuwiese, umbespielbar. Apologizing shrug at the front desk. Far from enough serving staff. Presumption hotel closes soon, has financial plight. Wi-fi also worked in the lobby not.
The hotel has completely obvious long a large ungezieferproblem. Constantly and everywhere ... - for breakfast directly on the yoghurt - i will insecticide sprayed. Food on the terrace not possible, because of dozens of flies. read more

We, 40, sporty, independently liked very personal contact with the staff, so that one not only a number in the mass is, if you want. Very friendly staff, if you even so met. Unfortunately often tragically very busy.
Were already 4 times in a year. The location with the relevant views of the ocean, the incredibly colored sunsets, the peace and quiet came to meet us much. Rental car is necessary, beaches between 5 and 10 minutes very easy to reach, therefore it's varied.
It is easy to get to all the different places by car.
Guests have a variety ... of nationalities all ages, very well mixed. Little to hardly any children.
Thank god no music and animation at the pool.
In the evenings the usual solo entertainer. We are not fans of this music ☺
Small straightforward hotel with beautiful gardens. Because of the hillside location is the way on footh the indoor spa and some rooms high, what lazy or elderly sometimes as obstacle saw. We found the slope was minimal and the way through the palm trees very nice.
Room big, with vision, if you want. Beautiful balconies.
The food is always very subjective. You can always find something, you can also complain about. Unfortunately, it had in a year on quality lost. Spain's austerity does not stop. Athletes food in the sporthotel if you but to no avail!
Fantastic large terrace, the sometimes with way too many cost for the staff the barbecue is used. Incomparable view.

The coffee for breakfast was limited enjoyable and freshly brewed coffee only for an extra charge available. There was no hard-boiled eggs. The breakfast buffet was almost only guests from England laid out. The free wi-fi access there was only in the hotel lobby and unfortunately not on the rooms.
Altogether it was a very nice and relaxing vacation. read more

We have for a four-star hotel expected more.
The pool is the best part of the whole hotel, the food is really varied and good. The state of the rooms meet the least our expectations, there the bathroom in need of renovation is. As an example: mold in the shower, a leaky sewage the shower, so that the water the bathroom floods and accordingly smells. The cleanliness after the cleaning also to be desired, since one finds haarknäul of the pre-made! The staff at reception speaks and understands badly German, is also nothing special smart. The terrace, with a wonderful ... view on La Gomera very seldom and then improvised use ( plastic cup for the wine). The beach is completely okay., but the free bus to Playa del Duque was deleted, is on the internet still advertised.

So i felt it was great in the hotel Callao \u263a very nice quiet and well-kept complex, very wonderful pool- and restaurant area, very spacious room with a balcony/ terrace (my terrace was even times as large as the room. ). The whole complex is cleverly planned and built on a slope, so that from the hotel many beautiful prospects on the sea us on La Gomera offer and you during dinner covered outside area the beautiful sunsets can. Besides have therefore the guests well distributed and the hotel was also at the full occupancy in september not congested appeal. ... The food at the buffet was for me than vegetarian very varied and diverse. Since i had a rental car, were for me things to do (Teide national park, various beaches the south-west coast, and whales dolphin see from Los Gigantes, the introduction scuba -diving turtle watching from Los Gigantes, etc.) Not a problem. If you don't car has, it is from the hotel to the next beach already a piece of, it seems a bus stop in front of the hotel to give. It is very many families, especially Spanish at the weekend, since. In the week it was rather quiet. As vacation for relaxing great. Although evenings always a musician but the interest holds itself within limits, so no large Tanzabendes experienced. The staff are top. But the almost around the clock work they are always nice and efficient. All from the chef on the service-Crew to to the front desk, here especially Senora Lolli the US great tips to Tenerife and its sights and hidden treasures gave, were super hard to make everything right. The room maids have absolutely cleanly worked. ... Were also gladly times only if you take a siesta and deseamed really German clean. Respect for the whole staff.
What I didn't like so much was that the whole area is well maintained, but not really used from operator. There is a really beautiful terrace with bar was however never opened. Exactly we have to say although the bar in the hotel always open is however from 11:00 P. M. net really what is going on. Furthermore I do not understand, smokers or not, why not ashtray be established. So the smokers always see in what corner you their cigarette butts press. Are small things steams but the overall impression. Everything was bit Sunday. Well heartless somehow.
In short: you can during the day by the pool chill out, with pool bar. Children are very welcome, the staff are very child friendly. The children but really only the pool or couple table tennis available.
A rented car is imperative, as the beach about 3 kilometer. Weg and it is not really offers, if you for example evenings little dance to go wanted, nearby gave.

Hotel for Urlaubsmenschen, the know, what they want, not 'ballermann' like.
Wonderful Gardens, good varied food, hotel complex the landscape is

Also for families with smaller children, for the youth rather boring.

We have a great and relaxing vacation on Tenerife and it really let go.
We felt really good in the hotel, it was clean - even the joints in the bathroom were plain to see. The beds were very comfortable.
For breakfast there were something for every taste, the dinner was diverse and really delicious.
Twice we were in the spa area and take a break from everyday life. It was really very relaxing and nice. We saw the relax -massage retreat: a dream!
We had a rental car taken, which I would recommend to anyone. So we could independently ... and according to the mood of the beautiful Island explore.
It was a lovely week overall - this vacation I would at any time repeat! read more

There was drawbacks with cleanliness the room and the gym studios.
Big room with a balcony/ terrace and view of the sea.

We had the hotel extra selected, since a 'supposedly' modern spa -complex should be. This spa -complex leaves much to be desired, so should you the complex not with German criteria fairs: Frost room seems already longer to be defective, the Turkish bath was not cleaned, so you could take in the dust and other indefinable files from several weeks, however. In a fountain was the water with a thick layer of dust covered. The area standing water was not regularly deducted. The Wasserinstallationen worked partly not, or the breakers were calcified. From 5 different showers only one worked perfectly. ...
Are missing multi-lingual Instructions, so we could note, that guests - more from ignorance-after the sauna without to shower in the jacuzzi or in the pool abtauchten. Many did not, as you the complex we should use it. There was except for the tours no supervisor sighted.
Constantly came visitors, then in shoe by the spa was led, it was strange but then, that only the' hotel manager' your shoes engulfed.
The massages ( therapeutic ) were very good, Chiropody clumsy and not very professional.
The staff the complex were friendly, complaint failed to the lack of German and English. Price lists were only in Spanish and English to receive.
You should know, that the hotel complex itself on the edge of the town. A rental car is almost requirement.
If you rest want, the hotel is recommendable, the kitchen was remarkable varied and complex. read more

the cleanliness leaves in the whole hotel to desire. After complaining was our room once again cleaned. (Lol). In the bar area is the desk filthy. The hotel have a renovation necessary! The food selection was monotonous. The coffee for breakfast not enjoyable. the hotel would be really nice, if they would fix it!
the view from the terrace the Atlantic is lovely-however, the upholstery on the furniture was so dirty, that it all waiting lists.
the bar is a joke for 4 stars. Dirty glasses, furniture from the pool and the best mention-the glasses only water and hand without detergent cleaned.
the SPA costs per day 15 euros -for guests too expensive and if you bad luck has, then lots of Spaniards and it will be a bit too full.
one time a week there are Grilled meats. The grill in free ... of the restaurant certainly already 2 years no longer cleaned and it is simply BÄHHHH!
the food always tasted the same and there are almost always the same.
breakfast we have after 3 days always skipped.
it is each evening live music and this is sadly no real atmosphere on, as the light too bright and besides the TV runs.
the rooms are everything other as well. If the neighbor only in bed rotates, then one hears it at in the room. The charwomen push from 7 o'clock with its weigh access to the rooms along and then the furniture pushed. You almost madly on the rooms! read more

Unfortunate was which one indoor pool and sauna and so on extra pay had. With twelve euro per person is really beautiful in the money. Unfortunately we were on and in front of the hotel were robbed. In the hotel I had my bag on chair, in the restaurant hang, that was my own fault, but a proportion of the money was from the hotel replaced, otherwise nothing was missing in the second time, we were in the waiting for the bus, the take us back to the airport should serve, distracted and my bag with all the documents, money ... and so on stolen. The hotel boasts: 'it is the paradise' and for us it was just Sunday we were able to overlook about the paper thin walls of the rooms and also the not so clean cleaned rooms, mostly bland spiced food etc., because the complex very, very nice and spacious. Plenty of pool chairs with beautiful thick cushions. Through the Plätschergeräusch by the pool, you could hear the conversations the other guests and could relaxation. Hotel is now Callao sport. A very clean hotel with commodious rooms, even with a baby bed is still enough room. Area is not very big and therefore quite offering a clear view. Due to the hillside location you had in spite of the distance of 2 kilometer to the coast dreamlike views of the Atlantic ocean and La Gomera.
nationality is mixed, too many German/ austrian, as well as some English. Both older, as well as younger audience because of the sport offers.
