Hotel Mayfair^{(3 stars)}

I had a double room with pool view and balcony for single use. Except for the Sunday it was daily well cleaned. The room had a kitchenette with fridge, small Oven, kettle and toaster. Initially worked the air conditioning (also heated is) and the river did not. But it was quickly fixed. In the bathroom there were hardly any space for storage. The hair dryer was a mirror in the room (not in the bathroom) appropriate. There was a safe against price (deposit and rent).

breakfast and dinner were great. The breakfast was advanced English with all sorts of eggs, sausage, marmelade, baked beans, mushrooms and so on coffee Cappuccino... And( black) tea you the machine. The ample buffet in the evening there is a on every day of the week. Other Motto. Once there is international, once Cyprian, once Italian and so on all meals were filled quickly. Everything was clean.

the staff were friendly and helpful. At the front desk they speak German, otherwise English. The room up to the Sunday daily well cleaned. Complaints were quickly fixed. Additional service required I do not.

The water in the pools was very katl, obviously not heated. The sauna cost additional. The pool was only from 6:00 P. M. open until 10:00. If you did, it was difficult, to enter. On three evenings during the week there is a nice music program.

it is an almost pure tourist hotel. Everything was clean. I had half board booked. There were German, French, but also other nationalities because, mainly older people, also a few younger couples and families. This can but also at the time of the year and the occupancy by RSD beach chairs.

the hotel is centrally located in Paphos, a tight. Half hour by bus from the airport away. The port is easily reachable on foot, as well as the city center from Paphos. By bus you can quickly get to at the sandy beach. Travel Agencies offer excursions to the area, for example bathrooms offer or the rock of Aphrodite. The world heritage site of Paphos is fast easy to reach on foot. There are however no sandy beach in the immediate area. However end/beginning of February Janurar was the weather not quite afterwards.

Our apartment was very large and clean when we arrived. During the stay was several times cleaned. To the part not so tidy but OK. There is air conditioning (Warm and cold), as well as balcony/ terrace. We did not often in the room stopped.

There was a large dining room for breakfast and dinner. Both in buffet form. Breakfast british orientated (warm meals, rather greasy). There is only little choice at sausage or cheese. But but also cereals, salad, fruit. All in all rather monotonous. But probably is often so in Cyprus to find. The dinner was decorated every day different( for example Grilltag, Italian evening, Cypriot night etc.). So very varied. It always salad buffet and dessert selection. During the day you could get a snack( pizza, Burgers, pasta, salad, etc.) order. all in all was the quality of the food good. (Alcoholic) drinks good-very good.

everybody was very friendly and hard-working. English is very advantageous.

There were several pools, a small Play area( pool, etc.) Internet for a fee, a very good ( varied) entertainment and show in the evening. Since we low season traveled we do not know, how it is in the high season appears.

It is a medium-sized middle-aged hotel. we had a apartment, which consists of two rooms with two beds, a bathroom and one( equipped) mini-kitchen in one of the bedroom stock. it was everything very clean. We traveled in February (=low season) so that the hotel partially. Rather leave worked. The complex is all in all small, but nice. we had booked all inclusive: Early and in the evenings buffet. Tagsauber snacks from a menu. there were lots of pensioners there. Also many British people, as well as a few Russians.

the hotel is located in the middle of city (50,000 inhabitants). Has however the advantage, that you both to the beach, as well as to'old town' in about one and a half kilometer walking distance. there was actually everything in the area that you need. Possibilities for excursions there are locally. You can but also good (and very cheap) with the public transport or by hired car the island explore. Cyprus is very diverse (Cities, beaches, mountains) Paphos itself is in terms of size brilliant. Near the airport (about 15 to 20 minutes by taxi), climatically very well situated and with all kinds of sites promoted.
