The hotel is clearly a bit older and seemed neglected and run down. Considerable wishes flying to all corners and ends. Technical and other equipment (furniture, fixtures) at low levels and schleckt maintained and waited. The 4 specified stars are absolutely untrue, even for dutch standards.     Our room was spacious, with a nice balcony with a great view of the sea. Both bathrooms ok, if also not really large. Also here everything was a bit worn, run-down and dingy. The rooms are very spartan with billigmöbeln clearly below ikea quality. Wobbly price range, where the eye view, the beds on hostel level. We had a so-called suite, but the room for the kids was really very small, without window (a milchglaslichtkuppel in the ceiling), the concept of 'cell' would better. The oriel two windows to lean/issue, if the mechanics would work. It does not, however, the clear already for a very long time. Furthermore, the 'suite' on a chef and dining area is a self-contained unit. The closets (with leaning, schwergängigen doors) were also available, but otherwise nothing! No dishes, no cooking facilities, no microwave, nothing! Only a tiny water heater (with a defective cover). Altogether there is also here the announcement and the actual impression far apart.

    The service in the restaurant is good, if not great. Although there is no table service and the guest at the buffet fully self catering to, it creates the staff not once, the plates with rolls, cold cuts and fruit filled to hold. Even with only moderately stocked breakfast room (large and quite noisy) it comes to waiting periods and snakes. Cozy breakfast looks differently. The choice is typically dutch - too much refinement so you shouldn't expect.

    There wasn't a pool. Ok, you have 100 metres from the north sea also not. A shame: the hotel's beach bar was already closed - and despite holidays in holland and golden october. Incomprehensible. Still more incomprehensible: the hotel's own sauna and spa area in the parterre closes every day at five o'clock! And always - even in the main season. So when 99% of the hotel guests in the afternoon/evening a day the sauna to use want, this is closed. At five o'clock in the afternoon!?

    The beach is easily reachable. It is a shame, that the hotel always on the opposite side to leave, in order to arrive at the beach. City center is reachable on foot in 10 minutes. Circuit is right at the hotel driveway

Was with my children (13 and 16 years) there and due to the negative reviews here a bit worried. But honestly say: great hotel! Should it flaws have given, these are probably dealt with. No matter, whether me or also to the children - the staff was very friendly. The great smell of the hotel, over all rooms, pure holiday! The breakfast just great! Everything was lovingly and freshly prepared. No canned fruit salad, but fruit salad freshly prepared with grapes, apples, melon, pear, and so on. Muesli can even be, as all ingredients individually are available. A large advantage ... for people with allergies, for example, against nuts. Organgenscheiben, half kiwis and further fruit freshly cut. Cheese, sausage everything was there. On small plates. It was always freshly refilled. Great coffee machine available, in which the guest not only coffee gets, but also Cappuccino and so on. Just great! An extra corner for children with colourful kid's crockery! To the room: the bathroom available not only shampoo and shower gel, but also körpermilch and duschschwämme -toothbrush glasses and hair dryer anyway! As well as under-floor heating. Orangenseife with fresh, natural smell! Not the typical chemiegeruch, as we know from other hotels. The hotel is right on the beach. Air-conditioning available in room. All in all a very good stay! Large, a hotel which is past its best, the rooms have seen better times and have some shortcomings. For four stars an indictment. The breakfast was good. There was a lot of choice, but extras such as eggs only on request. They should at the buffet with to be offered in this category. read hotel review

    My experience with the service... Catastrophic! After i 20 minutes before the crowded parking available and further ten minutes in the queue before the reception, i wanted to 4:08 p. m. check-in. Then were told, that my room only to 16 o'clock was reserved and now given. After a moment of speech and bewilderment noticed i at, that i was in these circumstances nothing could and i therefore this rejection not accept. The receptionist picked then their superiors in addition, their statement confirmed. He told me, me for a night a room and offered me for the next stay a room in one of the 20 kilometer away nh hotel to a much higher price. There this however not located close to the beach, this offer for me with two small children not in question. I was on the evening put off, until there is a solution. So i searched on the evening the front desk and again i was the 20 kilometer, this nh-hotel, which i am of course again rejected. Hotels in Zandvoort would no longer be available. My note, i'm not too late at the hotel and that was my around 8. minutes late check-in only to the organization of the hotels is due, was only with a smile in response. At that time i had already to another stay at the nh-hotel Zandvoort no longer. One feels as a guest not probably, if one is treated. What really irritated, was, that i in the evening on the internet for free hotels in Zandvoort searched, free double room in nh hotel were available, but for 5 0 €more than booked from me. There is of course suggest, that guests with reservation to cheaper price flimsy reasons is cancelled, the room more expensive short firm to give. Finally, at the time was gorgeous weather. The fact is, that i a lengthy prior with two small children had, after a night in Zandvoort again to go home. I have the impression, that the fast money, but not for the well-being of the individual guest. Why, within 8. minutes the room a woman with two children?

Our conclusion, pure relaxation for travelers looking for peace and quiet, as the hotel right next to the racecourse and about 1.75 kilometer, from the city center. Check-in, you should take into account a surcharge with sea view. The beds are a little soft but ok we, had no back problems and with a fantastic Sea view rewards. The windows you could only partially open, this had but also its purpose as it can be very windy and our room had an air-conditioning unit. The advantage it true peace, for rennbegeisterte and outdoor sportsmen but also for walking disabled ... the hotel is recommendable. Do you speak a little dutch and you will receive but english is ok. This hotel is a seminar hotel. The cleanliness was controlled and the staff was friendly. read hotel review

Looks from the outside rather chunky from, but the are many hotels. The reception area, lobby and the restaurants are tidy and optically totally okay. In the rooms it is spacious, but not so comfortable. They are in the color green and wooden style. However the green of ddr offices. The wood alone looks good, but with the dark green, everything seemed very dark. The rooms are but clean and, except for the slightly shabby window, in good condition. The bathroom is small, but bright and clean. Unfortunately, it is not working so, like one it from a bathroom. The ... wash basin is hardly more largely, than a salad centrifuge and the tap hands straight in such a way over the edge, what the proper hands hardly possible power, unless one has children's hands. The hair dryer is always so for 2 minutes, with 600 watt, and must then because of overheating 10-minute break. The toilet is ok. The toilet brush could have been however a half year be replaced can. In the shower you always so warm, as you can prepare, but the water pressure is so low, that one with water spit on could and still faster wet would be. If you then washing is finished, it takes only half an hour, until the water is expired. It had a beautiful lake in the bathroom, as the seal in the protective wall no longer available is. There is in the entire hotel, free of charge for guests, wi-fi. However one must all 24 hour new log-on Altogether it is okay and for a short break in order read hotel review

    The staff at reception is nice, but often overtaxed and unsafe. The breakfast is in management, also to you hot beverages gets oneself one at the machine. There is a lot of staff through the area, the table still nobody voluntarily, to empty plates, or to ask, whether a scrambled eggs to have would like. At the buffet there is this not. One has then times a staff captive, this is however very friendly.

    The house is located directly by the sea. The area is not so beautiful however. The place has further away some nice small streets and houses, but in the immediate area is possible without end ugly hotel shelters and strange restaurants.

Free internet worked rarely, open home page from holiday check took 5 minutes food (menu) 3 0 €, bath without shower, only shower in tub, mold in the joints, only 1 german tv program (ZDF), mattresses worn out, no outlets in bettennähe, minibar empty, no glasses, carpet in the room stained and worn, breakfast normal with substantial queues at the coffee automat. Why here with 4 stars advertised is absolutely a mystery. read hotel review

Through the reviews here we were already before clear, that the hotel older and not so modern. The first room, the we got was one of the non-refurbished rooms. In the bathroom with bathtub, toilet and sink were the floor tiles around the toilet very dirty. The sink had a crack, the very unpleasantly repaired had. The 'double bed' ( aneinandergehakte single beds on wheels) was so soft, that you from the probeliegen got back pain. The color of the window was peeling. At the front desk we got a room upgrade for 20 Euro per room per night. The ... new room was renovated, however it smelled unfortunately after color. We have then daily aired and it was tolerable. The color of the window was peeling but also here. The sink in the new room was very small. Therefore tended constantly water on the glass-topped. I have then daily cleaned, since the cleaning staff was not. The decked the shower was not cleaned. It was during the 4 nights stay the trash in the bathroom not emptied. The breakfast was very expensive and than buffet presented. The choice was very big. The tables were not cleaned, there was no table cloths. The coffee you had to yourself (for the price you'd expect at least a pot on the table). Small cardboard signs on the tables for additional desires (scrambled egg etc.) Were very dirty, as well as the silverware. In the hallways smelled very intensively to various artificial fragrances. On our corridor was on one day the color of a wood- flurtüre strong peeled off and was on the carpet. There were the farbstücke also the next afternoon. The hotel offers free wi-fi on the rooms at. Unfortunately we could never internet access. The staff at reception and in the restaurant seemed very unmotivated. You were rarely greeted us in a friendly way. Whilst settling the bill we were then almost 300 Euro too much card, which we have however fortunately timely notice. The hotel offers a car park, where guests for 12,50 Euro per night parking. The ticket had to advance on the credit be paid, unfortunately then but it is not a guarantee for a car park. On the 2. day the parking lot was full and we parked on a parking lot down the street. The too much money we should get a refund. At the front desk we spoke about this, they promised, that before we got our money back, and disrupted our parking ticket. Whilst settling the bill but the price for four nights listed. We also have the statement after some discussion must be rectified.     Huge room, decor not brand-new anymore, but still ok. The bathroom was not very big, bath tub with showering possibility. Everything very clean. There was a kettle, and cups, coffee and tea available. Likewise a kühlscnrank. Something i miss unfortunately often in german hotels!

With 4 stars the hotel we can not evaluate. It is quite outdated, what one extremely at the very renovation-needy corridors can see (against the old musty smell was in the hallways duftrosen set up, but nothing used). We had booked a standard room, us the room and are backward again marching. You can't put into words how this impression was. Us came again an old, musty smell, the furniture was more than forward, we hardly dare touch anything. Us it was worth it 15€ a night more pay and a renovated standard room to get. It is actually a ... cheek, that not renovated room still is. The renovated rooms was alright, skin not elaborate, but for 3 nights it was sufficient perfectly. However we had the impression, that only superficially renovated. So were for example our mattresses more than worn out. You could roll with the naked eye see. Further negative aspects cloud unfortunately a great vacation: - fresh towels were not really (makeup traces were on fresh towels to see-several times!) - room was on the final day not cleaned, in spite of the sign 'please clean' or ' nobody is at home' - as mentioned above: quality of the mattress insufficient - parking is way too expensive: 12,50 Euro per night - in the hotel hardly anyone spoke german, so you should speak english - we were at the front desk always only on demand a information given, for example wlan procedure, breakfast room and etc. Positive the breakfast was. The service was very pleasant, the coffee tasted and the selection was alright. read hotel review

On devrait voir l'hôtel comme un hôtel trois étoiles. C'est tout à fait satisfaisant. Les chambres sont propres. Il n'y avait plus de 80 € pour une chambre double pour une nuitée. Pour le petit-déjeuner, il vaut mieux réserver ailleurs. read hotel review

The hotel is in good condition and neat. I had half board booked. The dinner was a three-course menu in the restaurant enough and has me always really enjoyed. But i had in a 4 star hotel an indoor pool, (for swimming in the sea it was in the winter yes too cold). This isn't available. read hotel review

The hotel we spontaneously from the car for a extended weekend selected, since the other reviews sounded quite good. The room was very bland without comfort. Also is probably with a strong cleaner work, whereby air in the room and in the hallways was very poor, and we initially the window ( despite cold and wind) long open had. The entire internal phenomenon reflects the south platte of the 80 years again. Exception only the hotel bar, which is very well maintained and with very friendly, helpful staff equipped. The restaurant is also already updated. The parking fees ( low ... season of 12,50 Euro) are also definitely too high. read hotel review

Amazing huge beach hotel in Zandvoort with directly at the beach (however, as all hotels behind coastal road). Last hotel before the dunes and therefore an excellent starting point for long walks... However bad for shopping trips in zandvort... But ümso closer to harlem. In the winter are the prices unbeatable, why this hotel may be just as winterschnäppchen recommends. read hotel review

- short new year's eve holiday by bus to Zandvoort (Holland) with half board - rappelvolles hotel, so food always in stages - dinner was almost disgusting -little choice and nastier taste pasta were cold and casserole was raw-cake for dessert was still frozen - much too high drink prices! 0,25 liter beer 3,05 Euro - small cup of coffee 2,50 Euro - breakfast was reasonably okay - the double room number 231 was so dirty, i have never seen! We have for a superior room 98 Euro the night - including breakfast - paid. With the room we were satisfied, however, we have insisted on, a renovated room to get. We can therefore the not reconditioned room rate. Overall, we were with the price, the room, the service and the breakfast very satisfied, although the hotel from the outside now really no eyes is. read hotel review

For new year's we were in the nh. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the hotel was overbooked by coach tours. And some of these travellers needed a lot of getting used to, for breakfast partly rude. So that it for breakfast more than uncomfortable-even annoying was. The bar was not the other hotel guests visited, because the coach party were. In short: the most friendly staff can't make up for, if the hotel by coach parties overbooked and thus for the other guests no room is available. We will not stay there again and in future ... first check, whether buses on the we have selected - hotel set will. read hotel review

We stayed in this hotel for one night. The staff members were friendly and competent. The hotel made a very good organized impression. The room was above average large, functional but nice and contemporary furnishing. The amount was very cheap, the breakfast - as in the most hotels - very expensive ( circa 18 Euro) read hotel review

    Room was big enough. Under the bed and on the table base was a thick dust layer, there was during our stay not vacuumed. The faucet in the sink was so close to the edge appropriate, that you are not even reasonable the hands wash itself could. The shower head was wobbly and could höhenmäßig not be set. Basically the room was worn, peeling paint on the dirty windows etc. The room was only after my tel. Request after 15 o'clock volatilely cleaned. For a 4 star hotel i expect at least cleanliness, i would rate it a 2-star level see. I can recommend just because the distance to the beach.
