    We had a great room with thatched roof. Thus the sound of flies past birds hear clearly, but we found not bad-rather on the contrary very comfortable.

    The food was not only inexpensive, but it was very tasty. You could on the beautiful terrace under the trees, in the courtyard or in the restaurant upscale style food. But also in the pub it was very comfortable. The buffet was brilliant!

    The staff is-contrary to the other reviews - very pleasant. The more experienced employees are very attentive, the newer must still learning-but they are very welcoming. The manager is also with small ' complaints' immediately the matter at the bottom. Overall we the feeling, as a guest to be really welcome.

    On the grounds are two smaller pools, which were hardly occupied. Here would be a drink service have been nice.

    The hotel is quaint and directly at a golf course, the us ( hcp 5-14) of all in South Africa so far played places liked most. The picture in the brochure looked like and therefore artificial. I myself attended the same place the photo and it looks actually as pictured. Beautiful views of the Heidelberg on the one hand, and the sea on the other side. Very interesting and sports courses (finds...).

We had a 'deluxe' room. Small, inconvenient furnished, no land for storage space, worn furniture. All in all no appropriate standard. The bathroom: Furnished in a charm the sixties, dirty tile joints, mold, rust. What a disappointment, if you good hospitality in South Africa met has. Breakfast restaurant: offer average, but only if you on time morning come. Apart from that: tables were not cleared, table cloths were dirty, Marmeladegläser at the table already used. a beautiful room on the first floor with thatched roof. Despite 'Normal' category commodious, with air-conditioning and German TV channel (ZDF). the furniture is outdated. We have also other room inspected, the partly the impression left, left you have worn. Unfortunately also the cleanliness a lot to be desired.     the staff are very friendly however rather indifferent. Obviously there must be a other Mentality of purchase. if you are looking for about 09:00 A. M. for breakfast seems, should not so well left tables look. It's a frequent occurrence, that nobody feels responsible for the clearing. Accordingly also looked from the floor. there is no completely obvious on a tidying and tough on the part of the management.

    Here we can only to the two pools and a statement make. Both were filthy, the water cloudy, Side walls full seaweeds, the beach chairs dirty and wet from the previous guests. On the tables were empty glasses and mugs. It was rather disgusting.

    Excellent and quiet location, immediate at the golf course, as well as to the wine-growing estate Comparisons show. To Stellenbosch about 20 minutes by car, Cape town about 40 minutes. Easy access by road

Good hotel for price/performance ratio was right! Very nice, clean and spacious rooms (classic room) under the reed covered roof with air conditioning! German TV Channels. Ideal base for golfers! Great wineries nearby (for example, comparisons shall, directly behind the hotel), about 20 minute drive to Stellenbosch and 30 minutes drive to Cape Town in the waterfront. Good reasonably priced food. read more

The hotel has seen better days. In the shower was in the joints of the tiles fungus available.HCLFHLThe tables for breakfast were from ninth 00 o'clock not set with silverware, among other things. Very well-kept area-only about 20 minutes drive from Cape Town airport. We spent the first night of our South Africa trip here and were more than satisfied. Arrive and be comfortable. The rooms are very nicely furnished and very clean. Furthermore, there is a great restaurant with fabulous food and a wide and very good breakfast buffet. Here you can also good stay longer and the hotel as a starting point for excursions in the region or in Cape Town. read more
