Very nice, medium-sized, family-run hotel, located on 4 floors Dealing with the guests is very personal, friendly and helpful. The hotel is in top condition, some rooms were this year updated. Cleanliness is the hotel to the standards as the good food, that as a part of a half board is offered. The rich breakfast buffet, you can relax on the activities (mostly hiking) in the day will be offered on a daily current sheet information. Moreover, massages and various beauty treatments. As a part of the half board you can at dinner between 3 menus select, whereby at least ... always a vegetarian alternative. Usually there are products from in the area offered (game from its own hunting grounds and similar). The wine list with a focus on Austria left for a comfortable holiday no wishes desired and has there is something for everybody. The hotel bar offers then still in addition a large number of edelbränden and various other spirits for a successful conclusion of the day is required. The freely accessible spa features two saunas (one of them with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains), steam bath, whirlpool, water beds, swimming pool, and many other more the hotel houses a lots of regular guests. The majority of of the guests comes in my opinion from Austria and Germany. However, you also a few marks other (european) countries at the hotel.     The spacious rooms, size depending on the type of room, are equipped with television, telephone, bathroom with a shower, toilet and safe. Part the room were this year renovated. The room is very clean. The bathroom offers sufficient space and in most rooms of which bath and toilet are separate. On the balcony are also odd available. All rooms are basically non-smoking rooms. The closets offer lots of space and very many hang up possibilities with from the hotel available the hangers. Furthermore, each room with a sofa set in the rule for 2 pax with coffee table and a work desk. The bedside tables are with special lamps a lesekomfort through focused the partner not disturb should guarantee.

    The hotel is somewhat remote from the village of kals am großglockner in a very peaceful location. With car you need in the next larger city (Lienz) about 30 minutes. The ski lift can either after three minutes drive away and a ski trail hotel cable cars and a free ski bus. Small supermarkets are within 5 minutes (also by bus) attainable. In the vicinity of the hotel (2 -minute walk) is the bus the public access to Lienz (travel time around 45 to 60 minutes) makes possible.

The taurerwirt is a hotel which no wishes to be desired. We were already for the 4'. In a row in this great house and thrilled time after time. There is nothing, but absolutely nothing fault this hotel to say. The vacation already started at the entrance of the hotel. Very nice welcome, brilliant atmosphere, if you in this house not comfortable, it is your own fault. The service was very good, but never obtrusive. Every wish from our eyes. So we feel that at least. Taurerwirt is a must have and no can thursday If potential very high! read more

    Whoever is looking for peace and quiet is of the taurerwirt in any case correctly. At night you could here a pin drop fall heard, so still it was. Who party or extensive nightlife preferred, had bad maps. To to Lienz it was about half an hour drive. Apart from that: nature relaxation. Great landscape, clear air... Great.

A very friendly at the same time quiet and active hotel, in the my wife and I us felt really good have. A pleasant mixture of donation sitens of the staff, but also the jederzeitigen possibility, its own way to go. Big balcony south with a view of the Schobergruppe. Wonderful modern, but traditionally equipped large complex with about rooms. Location in the middle of nature, starting point for many hikes in the various performance and offer exercise sessions. A real, harmonious family business, the guest is the centre of attention. Well-kept, clean rooms, good room service, incredible booked, therefore 4 guides hikes, half board, 1 massage and a bathroom including. In the afternoon tea and cakes are provided free of charge.     This attractive hotel lies quasi in a cul-de-sac. Not literally to understand, it is the beginning of the most beautiful landscapes and mountain ranges. What you cannot: evenings along various centers and shops strolls! Here you find peace, nature and relaxation. Next village of kals respectively Lienz (> 30 kilometer) are indicated post bus ( travel time 1 hour B. Lienz) or taxi to reach. In short: whoever is looking for rest and relaxation with a top-hiking special is in the right place here!

The 'taurerwirt' in kals is always again worth a trip. The informal climate is really great and you feel right really great. The area is great for walks each Schwierigkeitsklasse, also the guided hikes should you get closer in inspection, as the you cleverly selected, so that you in any case always something new to see. read more
