I even 4 weeks time out in the beautiful Egypt retreat and bend very satisfied again to Germany a. The rooms are fine and the room service leaves nothing to the imagination. Here are all very friendly, in particular the german guest relations manager Katja heinemann! At you once again thank you for the great time - i have really enjoyed with you and look forward to a widersehen \u263a the complex is clean and always intact held. The beach is wonderful and you will find at any time free beach chairs with free cushions. Especially worth mentioning is here ... is the percentage of german guests, the altogether belong to the hotel 7 hotels - in which you move around freely can, nevertheless i guess the number of german guests on circa 20%. For me was the not a problem, as the russian and ukrainian guests are very good mood and polite - only whilst eating you should not be there. Because it certainly has nothing to do with german behavior at the table to do! If you want a well-kept atmosphere for the food likes can itself in the 'Orangerie' place to hang out, there is a separate german restaurant with relaxed music to relax in the logic. Also the evening design there is a separate german bar with pool and a very nice waiter. Much animation, shows and an interesting nightlife here and if you want their peace and quiet this gets also in any case. In the whole 4 weeks no one was unfriendly-more on the contrary, it always said hello and smiled! Somewhat nervous is the constant negotiation with the vendors in the shops. A tip says the traders 100 say 40 and meeting within! With 60 then it both good. So if you not at all the negotiation is, can outside of the complex in fixed price stores shopping, not a problem. To end on a good note i just want to thanks say the super friendly waiter in the lobby bar, as mentioned in Katja the everything possible and power the cleaning of the rooms the always their best done and, of course, the chefs, the every day large afford. I am coming again no question and recommend every in emerald hotel once to dive and to relax! read more

Despite relatively young age of 5 years already very worn and tired, for buggies and wheelchairs suitably, for 5 stars much too small standard room, for adequate food must be outward go, beach but very good, if you the cleanliness the beach-toilets and the beach not count. For me was the hotel this is it for me. The staff and the guest relations Katja were very nice and friendly. Since there were mainly russian guests in the hotel were, was you as a german guest you a minority, but one was very good from the staff treated. Room was always clean, daily fresh towels and drinks was refilled. Food was it was delicious, especially in the german restaurant extra charge for the german guests was.     Room is big and spacious. Clean, and neat. Tv and air conditioning. What i thought was great the it a kettle in the room gave where you tea or coffee making facilities. Cups were changed daily.

    Lots of restaurants there was and i visited i found clean and tidy. Food was abundant. Me personally disturb plastic cups, it can understand this simple to use, as you many guests with the glasses wash not to be.

    Staff was friendly and accommodating. Thanks to the gästenbetreuerin Katja the only german there was no problem with the language. Would be better if the remaining staff also in the foreign languages german inform could themselves, unfortunately, these predominantly only russian. I had no complaints for me everything okay was.

    The distance to the beach was very in short, few minutes walk and you was at the beach. A wide choice of beach chairs. The swimming pool i didn't use it as i the beach preferred. Shopping is centrally located and with the bus was one fast in the town

All together the vacation was reasonable, the animation was disappointing and the partly quite unfriendly and annoyed staff spoke unfortunately only Russian. For German tourists no perfect hotel. We have the best dáraus made. read more

Huge hotel complex, the emerald is almost directly at the beach. When we arrived we were right at the entrance friendly of Katja the german customer service received. Although we hadn't booked sea view, we got one. Rooms at the all in all clean and big enough for 2 people due to carpet was here and there some sand (which probably with a hotel by the beach not quite be avoided)-but we immediately slippers and this didn't bother us. On one day we also had no towels in the room, but with 35° was air dry not a problem ☺ ... At the end of september we were only very few german guests, lots of guests from Russia or general asian guests. read more

    The restaurant is because of the many guests of us as chaotic have been found. The breakfast was great delicious and also always abundant. Fresh omelets for each guest individually prepared. For dinner we went always in the restaurant designed specifically for german guests in neighbouring diamond hotel. Very friendly staff, lekeres food (there is something for everybody), comfortable atmosphere with live music (only about 30 persons of the devaluate from the 500 people in the main restaurant). The theme restaurants we tried would recommend this however not recommend (deutsch/russisch)

Even if not all german or english good communication with 'hands and feet' possible ☺ If times something to complain about was (little toilet paper/water) it was taken serious and tried immediately to implement. Staff in the restaurant also us to see again and covered us a extra table, we received drinks served.

    The hotel you can reach from the airport in around 20 to 30 minutes shopping possibilities directly in front of the hotel. We however only used it once, as sellers were very pushy and you on vacation the day still in the hotel bar end left. Wonderful sandy beach (also suitable for people who cannot swim) with possibility for snorkelling!

To 3 days we are from this 5 star hotel moved, not even 2 would be here justified! From the introduction the room was dirty, the carpet not vacumed and the bathroom not cleaned. The first breakfast there were at 09:40 o'clock neither coffee nor juice, although until 10 o'clock breakfast time. For late risers there was nothing. For swimming then no towels or dried, already used. These became public before the eyes of the guests so practiced. The coffee at the following day was without exaggerating, bright as black tea, so it wasn't a loss, that we on ... the first day not any got. Also in the following days was not vacuumed, there was apparently in the entire hotel no vacuum cleaner, although in the corridor carpet was, the accordingly appeared. The bathroom was not cleaned. The dirt, in the feeder found, was still for the return trip. The room service was limited to beds make, change of towels and with luck, also times toilet paper. At the beach bar walked the cats over buffet and the sparrows kids then romped around very loudly in the bread basket, without the someone causes felt, to prevent. Drinks there was only not chilled in the 150 milliliters softdrinkbecher. Were at 37 degrees in the closet behind the counter stored and served. In the hotel there was sometimes also glasses but also here, from the uncooled bottle. Outside the dining room there was plates and cutlery, when at all then only from plastic. The emerald is one of five located hotels in this massive complex. Is' right' at the beach - one must but nevertheless good 250 meters go. This hotel has the most beautiful pool the complete complex ( therefore also lots of guests of the other hotels here for swimming), but unfortunately without water slides. We also to the slides good 5 minutes had to go, has no one said. There is a map on the entire area, this is true but not completely agree. At the emerald are 95% russians guest and these are its reputation unfortunately more than fair! ... The carpets in the hallways are a only an unreasonable condition! Massive stains and dirt never cleaned! I stayed in the whole 2 weeks not vacuum cleaner see or hear it! A dead lizard there was a week at the same place! Also cockroaches we have the first time in our life and the pest controller marched out. ( is probably also due to the food, the dining room up and in the hallways to be put there. The constant power outages make the use of the lift a risk. The air conditioning in the hallways respectively in the restaurant cool not really. All together it deserves the hotel for certain no 5 stars! And our complaints because cleanliness etc. Also nothing Egypt and rammadam to do! read more

    The size our room was for the four of us at the borderline. The cleanliness however also a nightmare. Dirty dishes ( glasses, toothbrush glass) for days were left. The floor is never been vacuumed! The mini bar didn't really cool right and is also just per week filled! Arrived at sunday and wednesday was the water all-only on saturday we got new and as only a 0.5 liter bottles for 4 persons! To repeated request for re-filled we this then despite all inclusive service on the main street bought! Large towels we got for 4 persons (2 adults and 2 children 5 and 9 years-so all four persons have paid) daily one or two. After the please still what to bring, we got also two further. The goods however the morning immediately again away has been although we this nice folded in the specified file on them and not on the ground or bathtub to. Toilet paper gave it daily for 4 persons also only 2 roles ( as long as one really nothing in the bathroom left behind-was still a half role desired you got nothing). I then started the towels and the daily remainder wcpapier to hide, so that we in the case of toilet paper new and in the case of the towels I only the dirty left behind. In the first week, we were plagued by heavy diarrhea and had only the housekeeping search so we toilet paper! The safe was not properly fastened, the everyone could so and raustragen can. Consequently, the valuables better under the pillows. The wet bedsheets you can nowhere dry, because neither a leash still drying rack at the balcony are. The bathroom is a horror! The tub was dirty from lime and shower curtain is yellowish! The shower worked only, if we the shower head with a plastikstück einkeilten. Between 18:00 and 19:00, you could not even the shampoo from my hair rinse, since only some drops water come. The toilet-brush stands without container just in the corner. The floor and the tiles barely to not at all mopped. Housekeeping came the last week never before 17:00 o'clock and then only trash empty and toilet-paper refill. She etc. Was nothing more to see. With dirty towels the figures for the decoration of the bed made! ( our child has in the morning the pink toothpaste in the towel and the same towel was evenings than queue decorated on our bed). The echsenartigen animals outside our door respectively in the hallways at the covers belong probably to the pets.

    The food leaves unfortunately also much to be desired. One must überpüntklich and everything you want on the plates do, because otherwise one gets nothing more (not refilled). Also here the armchair partly torn and the tables so dirty and sticky, that one no appetite. The beverages ( as long as Cola and Sprite not 'finish' were-which unfortunately very often) you get in small plastic cups. ( also here, the Russian guest it the employees behind the bar 'smears'. The got equal the bottle Cola while unsereines its small plastic cup erhäkt ). It lacks cutlery, plates and glasses. For the bread time days no bread knife-one had to take a normal small knife cut the bread! If it glasses gave, were the dirty and broken. The coffee cups there was no saucers and only plastiklöffeln. Fresh bread there was just evenings and since you had to be fast. For breakfast there was only rock hard pastry! The worst but it was, the moldy toast at the morning buffet! From then on, we ate only coerced! There is a possibility the main restaurant of the other associated hotels mitzubenützen, but you have to note, that you only later purely may ( however says a nobody and you weggewiesen ).

    The staff are so stressed out and understaffed, that a conscientious work is not possible and the flaws. Otherwise is probably the treatment because of the Russian guests noticeable. Almost everything staff speaks English, a few also German. The most friendly staff found one in the bar in the lounge. The hotel is unfortunately everything but clean. The floors and tables will not or hardly wiped, everything was sticky. Upholstery are in such a desolate condition (dirty, broken, torn), the not at all mood lower would like. Although we included had, we had to often from the bar in the lounge bar on the 1 floor our thirst to satisfy. ( on the ground floor there was only orangejuice free. Beer, coffee etc. Only against 'money'). The kids club was clearly to far away. The minidiskothek found in the billardbar on the 1st floor and was 14 days only the same routine. It was in this good half hour always the same songs dancing and Russian spoken! Once no mini discotheque took place. For the cleaning of the rooms is a man on the whole hallway undelegated, that it to considerable lack is unfortunately pre-programmed. Complaints at the front desk are the knowledge taken, however literally right in the drawer filed. The guest relations manager can hear the complaints at, is a lot of effort to get rid of them-can however also not really something against justify. The tour operator we got only once face ( the located 0 and) and there it was him extremely important his travel/ excursions to sell and afterwards we didn't see. The only 'after agreement'.

    Animation is evenings clearly to late set (only starting from 22:30), probably only for the Russian guest and not for families with children. Directly at the emerald we never a evening entertainment notice. Beach and water slides were clearly to far away. Sea and beach was the only thing which halfway is ok. However the beach belonging to the hotel from the boats started, so this is quite small. Otherwise very early get up around there loungers to get! The hotel's own pool is the best, however for us only starting from the afternoon usable, as this has no sun screens has. You must also first on the search for good loungers go, as it is very much broken chairs including. The pools are until 17:30 usable and after 17:00 is the lifeguard and purpose the people with a pipe and god help you if you obeyed this order not. At the aqua park itself, the shallow pool until the early in the afternoon with water fully (before is use this slide not possible). The drain grate in the shallow pool was more than gesundheitsgefährdet. The lattice bars were partly torn, broken or loose, so a gefahrenloses use never was possible! The large pool was only hip-high fulfiled (only in the second week was the pool completely full).

    The low distance to the airport mind the vacation not. You can take the noise from the planes hardly true (is probably also due to the stentorian musikanlagen ). On the complex itself, there are several small shops. Outside of the complex there are along the main street endless shops. However is the hike emerald at the main street with good 15 to 20 minutes to manage. On offers hotel servants ( service staff etc.) one should not do that, as these also only on the own profit see you despite 'safe' with much overpriced buys). At the beach different excursions offered (desert, dolphin house, glashouse, and so on). Apart from that the different tour operator excursions at, but very expensive are. As already mentioned above, understand we directly at the beach something else. The streets/ streets through the extensive grounds are very meagerly lit, so you evenings better a flashlight with leads. Otherwise it stinks quite terrible.

The hotel is within the golden 5 really with the next at the beach. Beach bar ensures that eating and drinking, chairs are also without nightly reservation still good available and entertainment there are at the beach by local offerers for diving amongst others also enough. Extremely lots of Russians, so the staff also nearly only spoke Russian. Exception is Katja-the ultimate guest service. They explained everything, took care of everything and the vacation locally really pleasant. So a person desires I like in all hotels:-). Thank you very much. read more

Everything but a five star hotel. I was already in many hotels from 4 stars, but the golden 5 emerald is clear distance the worst hotel. I would the hotel maximum ( gracious) three stars give. The whole golden 5 city complex seemed neglected and dirty. The carpet in the hallways makes the impression, as he would since opening not been vacumed. The staircases is possible regularly full of dirty dishes mostly Russian respectively Egyptian guests and attracts vermin on. Clean tables in the restaurant or in areas in vain. Glasses only with cold water briefly rinsed, accordingly dirty they ... are. You ordered a flat water, so swim mostly some small particles is around, probably from the supply. For food there was mostly soup, potatoes, rice, steamed vegetables, Chicken, beef, fried fish, pasta, diverse desserts and fruit. Sounds probably in the first moment not bad at, is however everyday the same and the quality was not high-quality. Since it generally with the hygiene not particularly good is ordered, one needs about stomach intestine -problem don't be surprised. The only positive thing is the friendliness of the staff in the restaurant and house-keeping to point out. These were always accommodating and tried hard, to make the best of the situation. However could these staff not conceal, that the golden 5 emerald a large problem in the leadership. Because most of the staff do the impression, as ran it haphazard and unstructured through the area without to know, what to do and why, and that the guest always and preferred to treat is. Me is in any case incomprehensible as it can be, that you at the bar a drink ordered, the barkeeper then once the guest 3 minutes we, in the meantime, in all peace with colleagues respectively a supposedly private cell phone talk leads, and afterwards only the guests served. And I not only once happens. Professionalism and proper personnel management is in any case something else. This hotel is really the last. I can German Hotelbéwertern only agree. The rooms are filthy, the staff at the hotel unfriendly. In the hallways stacked plates with leftovers. We had 2 Double room only 1, the extra bed was a disaster, the sheets to wet and bloody. The bed linen smelled, would not like to know, who before us is located at the, the mini bar was and was not filled. That means from 1:00 A. M. until 7 in the morning:00 o'clock nothing to drink, etc. The golden 5 is never a five star hotel, for ... me it has not any star and normally, the tour operator this hotel from their offer take, there are but only trouble with the customers. After we with our nerves at the end were we, at a charge, on the next day transferred into another hotel. This had only stars but 1000% clean. read more

So in July 2012 I was in the hotel my claim was beach and party. This was the vacation fair from 22 o'clock the Topaz and from 0A 4 in the disco fresco in the middle the hotel. The rooms are big however you should not expect that it was so clean, the 5 stars are country category but the basis for this must in any rather bad Wohnvirtel taken his. There was a vacuum cleaner the engine noise made, that was all. The cleanliness can really to be desired, who alone trying times Cola, Fanta or water on room ... to get, after the fridge is empty, is die of thirst, they have so much around the ears that it always forget despite tip. At least recognize your face and sham a guilt. Keep you with all of Katja would not have been the vacation are on the beach really a catastrophe been. It is really a gem, sweet nice helpful. All in all a very good hotel. The only thing which really not nice was the number of of the Russian guests. The lag in 99%. However I wanted to vacation and no friends. However were the Russians by tomorrow at 10 until 2 o'clock at night drinking as it is all inclusive was. Also the behavior was not appealing and the cleanliness do you think it definitely not. So were the public toilet' s and the beach not always clean. The staff had in any case always something to do. If you a problem with the room had it ... was immediately fixed. The German Katja H. the for the guest service was responsible is the best. Always had time for a nettens conversation and gave us tips regarding shops and price wise. Katja was always friendly and the best in the entire hotel:-) The entertainment wasn't so great. Either was beach dance made or water volleyball was played. Evening there a few shows and mostly disco whereby the prices in the disco completely overpriced were. Circa 5 €per drinks. That was not good. As German you had a small VIP status. There was also the table in the restaurant well presented and kept. Also on the check out you can the room yet until 14 o'clock keep what normally is 12 ends. Each of the to Hurghada fly if one should however always be aware. The people try with all the maximum out of. So is what you can. A tip for erstflieger: the return flight at the airport you can still very nice buy souvenirs. Mostly are price to the one still can negotiate. And the prices the door is possible are very a lot cheaper than the one in the town negotiated! read more
