Nice hotel. The rooms are big but a little old. With the car you reach very easily in a few minutes the center of the town. The location is nice. The restaurant is very good. Staff is helpful all the time. read more

The Doubletree by Hilton is one of the best hotels, on the service, we stayed in.
We had a double room booked, it was big enough, clean and well equipped, however was the tv broken. After a staff the TV not the track could, we got on the same floor a deluxe room. But also wanted just no picture on the TV appear, so that we after consultation with the front desk for the duration of our stay free Wi-Fi internet access got.
In the following night dripped from the turned off air conditioning, so that we the next morning ... got a suite.
The hotel is currently undergoing renovations and the three rooms were not yet renovated wings of the Doubletree.
Although this room already in the days are everything was to our complete satisfaction. read more

We were for the marathon in Luxembourg. The hotel we instead of the booked double room a suite available made. Great! With both of our children we had lots of space and fun in the hotel's own pool. Also the fitness room we used. It was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful. read more

The Double Tree by Hilton ( earlier Hilton) is not centrally located, but about kilometers away from the luxembourg city center, but is easy to reach. The house is older date but still 'in good shape'. The renovation has already been tackled. My wife and I have stayed here many times and have always been satisfied. The rooms are fine, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast without any complaint. For a short break to us the ideal hotel, because also the price is correct here. read more

The room might renovation stand. The wallpaper was a bit worn. Otherwise we were very satisfied. The rooms were clean. The beach towels were on request changed. The missing bathrobes were after complaint immediately on the room sent. The breakfast buffet was very extensive - and diverse. read more

Expected more with the Hilton name. Price adequate, but isolated on the outskirts of the town location. Only private restaurant and bar. Price spending quite high.
Location good for Waldlauf, jogging, walking, walks. Breakfast buffet extensive and in good quality.

We were fetched punctually from the shuttle driver, since we were with the hotel in connection had set. The journey took about 15 minutes the LUX airport. We lived on the 13th floor and had wonderful Sunrise. Room was large and everything was available. Mini Fridge, desk, large bed a flat screen TV with 15 German programs. The room wasn't in the newest condition, but for a few days it was OK. Bathroom had a shower inclusive bath tub and was large enough. Front desk was friendly, and it was fixed. The breakfast everything was what you need; coffee/tea, good ... orange juice, scrambled egg with ham and sausages, rolls, Corsons, Salmon, cheese, sausage, yoghurt and so on in about 300 meters away there is a 'mom and Pop' shop with fruit, drinks and sausage/ cheese. In about 400 meters away there is a bus station. The line 5 runs Monday to FR all 20 minutes to the center and the main station. A 2 hours Ticket gives it for 1. 50 euros and a day ticket for all 4,00 euros. A timetable and map are in the hotel. The hotel 3 free computers has. So you can book the flights. After sitting at the computer you can one or several laps in the indoor pool. The hotel also has a restaurant, which we however not had used. On the whole a good hotel, what we will again book. read more

We were now the second time in this hotel! We had a room refurbished, in other words, renovated bathroom which leaves nothing to be desired and HD LCD tv reception! The hotel is tough getting old, but from January renovated... Great service, great pool, quiet location, good breakfast in 15 minutes by bus in the city! read more

Located just outside on a hill located hotel is near the banks and shopping Areal Kirchberg. A journey with a vehicle is an advantage. The rooms are big and quiet, as well as well equipped. In general very pleasant hotel. Friendly staff and clean rooms... Room service a bit on the 'expensive side'. read more

It is a large, ugly concrete block, the old and urgently needed renovation, inside and outside. The furniture in our room was about the eighties's style. For those price I had different expectations. Around the hotel there is nothing around, to the city you drove about ten minutes, the walk too far. Prices in the hotel very highly, no 20 €per person on dinner, drinks plants around three, 80 euro for a glass of beer. The breakfast was very tasty and sufficient. For a short stay highly recommended, for a longer stay not. read more

The is really one of the ugliest hotels, I visited the seen and I have some world-wide. But this is only from the outside. Inside-as far as I have seen it-clean, friendly and modern. Our room was not worn, but with good and relatively new furniture. The beds were excellent, wide and beautiful not to soft or hard to. The bathroom seemed to be newly renovated. The only defects here: the not-working hair dryer, also notes the extra hair dryer worked only in the hallway and not the outlet in the bathroom. Otherwise no review.
The breakfast and dinner were ... excellent the. It was always freshly refilled again. Of the desserts I would deny my whole dinner, so tasty.
So my conclusion: for a city break or business trip to recommend. read more

Hotel clearly in the years come, room with worn furniture and floor coverings. Bathroom: ability to communicate clearly started, shower head not available, not available brush, sink totally yellowed, no air circulation, door rotten at the bottom, hooks on the inside room door torn, broken tiles, dirty tiles (age), and so on.
Minibar was very expensive but no glasses available, can be forgotten but was taken care of on the second day after complaint. Rug was on the second day not more available.
Breakfast: OK, but not 5 star standard, I have already had better.
With over 300 room but ... only 1 hotel a maximum of two people at the reception, long wait at check out.
Have the feeling, that a renovation of such huge klotzes to complex and is therefore with the lowest cost to the customer will be charged before the building on short or long is abandoned. read more

The hotel is in the years come and certainly no beauty, as concrete block.
However, it was clean, room was fine and the food was class. Breakfast buffet and dinner buffet really good price-performance ratio.
The check was the concierge something annoying, but otherwise was helpful and nice one.
Car park across the street from the hotel, with many guests it is not simple. read more
